TubaChristmas in Tombstone set for Dec. 13
TubaChristmas in Tombstone returns for its sixth year on Dec. 13.
The free concert begins at 1 p.m. at the Tombstone City Park, located at the corner of 3rd and Allen streets and features low brass players of all ages from across Cochise County and Arizona. Anyone who plays the tuba, sousaphone, euphonium or baritone is invited to participate.
Low brass players interested in performing at TubaChristmas must attend rehearsal at Schieffelin Hall, located at the corner of Fremont and 4th streets, the morning of the concert. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and rehearsal starts at 9.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
