Stripes is a handsome orange tabby Domestic Short Hair. He is house trained, and has a wonderful temperament. He is now ready for a new forever indoor home. Please come by to visit to see if he isn’t just a “purrfect” fit for your family!

Angel is a medium sized Domestic Long Hair. She is looking for an indoor forever home. Her coat needed a shave and her new fur is growing in nicely. She has a cocky ear that responds to good vibes. Please visit and see what an angel she is!


Leighlee is a young Pit Bull Terrier Mix who is current with her shots and is spayed. She is house- and kennel-trained, and is wonderful with children. She is looking to be your one-and-only family dog. Please come meet her!

The series concludes with Nora Ephron’s modern tale Heartburn, the semi-autobiographical novel based on her tempestuous marriage to Washington Post’s Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Carl Bernstein, best known for breaking the Watergate scandal. Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
