Patterson Observatory open to public

Patterson Observatory open to public
The Patterson Observatory will be open to the public on Thursday, starting at 6 p.m. Visitors will view star clusters, nebulae and distant galaxies through the observatory's 20-inch telescope. Volunteers from the Huachuca Astronomy Club will be on hand to operate the telescope and answer questions. The free event is family friendly.

The Patterson Observatory is on the campus of the University of Arizona, Sierra Vista, 1140 N. Colombo Ave.
