View comet before it disappears

View comet before it disappears
The Patterson Observatory will open to the public on Thursday for a night of observing the moon, Jupiter and variety of star clusters nebulae and distant galaxies. This is perhaps the last chance to see comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy before it fades away. The event is free. Doors open at sunset and viewing begins about 6:45 p.m.
The event is weather dependent, clouds will force cancellation.

The Patterson Observatory is located on the campus of the University of Arizona South, Sierra Vista, 1140 N. Colombo Ave.  Donations are welcome.
