Hummingbird banding underway on post

The Hummingbird Monitoring Network has begun the hummingbird count and banding season every other Sunday, around sunrise, approximately 5:50 a.m., on the front porch of the Public Affairs Office across from the gazebo on Brown Parade Field. Monitoring sessions will take place at first light this Sunday and every other Sunday into the fall. 

The public is invited to view the banding sessions.
