Eastbound I-10 to be reduced overnight to one lane between 29th Street and Kino Parkway

Motorists traveling on Interstate 10 in Tucson will encounter restrictions the next two nights while the Arizona Department of Transportation continues replacing roadway striping.

The following restrictions will be in effect from 9 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. tomorrow and from 9 p.m.Thursday, Aug. 6 until 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7.

The on-ramps from 29th Street and Park Avenue onto eastbound I-10 will be closed to traffic and eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between 29th Street and Kino Parkway.

During the restrictions, motorists wishing to access eastbound I-10 in the area can enter at 22nd Street, Sixth Avenue, or Kino Parkway or from Ajo Way using northbound Interstate 19.

ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
