Utility work on SR 87 in Coolidge

Utility work on SR 87 in Coolidge

Motorists traveling along State Route 87 in the City of Coolidge (milepost 25) need to be aware that Tucson Electric Power Company will be performing utility work that will require 15-minute intermittent closures in both directions on Sunday (Aug. 16) from 4 a.m. to noon to install an overhead wire.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 17 through Wednesday, Aug. 19, crews will be working in the area from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. to conduct utility work. Law enforcement will be on site.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead to avoid the intermittent closures or allow extra travel time if traveling during the scheduled closure period.
