Youth leadership program offered
The Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce has developed a program to get youth involved with and educated about the City of Sierra Vista, patterned after the Leadership Sierra Vista Program. This is an opportunity for high school seniors to get involved and start to build their resumes. The program runs from December – May, one day a month from 12:30 – 5 p.m. At the end of the program the students will receive a
certificate as well as a possible internship for the summer of 2015.

Book discussion group to meet

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
