City offers free Christmas tree recycling
Recycle your Christmas tree free of charge by dropping it off at the City of Sierra Vista’s compost facility on Highway 90. Those who have opted for a live, potted tree this year can donate it to the city for use in future landscaping projects. City refuse customers can arrange for a special curbside pickup by calling Public Works at 520.458.7530.
Before recycling the tree, remove all tinsel, lights and ornaments.

The Sierra Vista compost facility is located at 7201 E. SR 90 (at milepost 325, near the Cochise County Transfer Station). The compost facility is open Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
