Free story time event for youth
Cochise College is hosting a free story time event, "The Reading Tree," from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 23 on the Sierra Vista Campus, sponsored by the Sierra Vista Public Library and the Cochise College Friends of the Library. Register in advance for this free event through the Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning at 520.515.5492. Preschool and kindergarten through fifth-grade students are welcome at the Cochise College Sierra Vista Campus Library, Building 900, for a story, arts and crafts, and snacks. Every child receives a free book. A parent or legal guardian must also attend.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
