Ha:San Bak Saguaro Harvest Celebration at Colossal Cave
Colossal Cave Mountain Park's saguaro fruit harvest celebration on Saturday includes an O'odham blessing, presentations, harvesting of the fruit and saguaro syrup-making demonstrations. Learn its legends, lore and natural history. The celebration starts at 10 a.m. with presenters, planting your own saguaro seed, hands-on activities and hiking the archaeology trail. Visitors can also watch a master flintknapper and make an arrowhead for a small fee. Food tastings and entertainment will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cost is $5 per car, up to six people.
