Join the Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Guild for a Blue Moon (5th Wednesday
of the month) sewing day on Wednesday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to noon. The group meets at the Rothery Educational Services Center (old Apache Middle School) on Fry Blvd. We’ll have a couple quilt kits ready to sew together for distribution to community agencies. Bring your sewing machine, use one of ours, or cut & press for stitchers. We’ll also have a hands-on binding workshop conducted by Ruth A. She’ll bring samples to take home afterwards as reminders, or you can bind a guild quilt. For more information, visit www.hummingbirdquiltguild. com.

The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
