The City of Sierra Vista bimonthly newsletter, Vista 411, features upcoming changes to the City of Sierra Vista's 10-year General Plan: Vista 2030. The general plan will be on the November 4 ballot for voter consideration. Pick up a free copy of Vista 411 and get information on the General Plan's vision, purpose, goals and elements and make an informed decision at the ballot box.
The newsletter contains updated information about leisure classes, tour and travel, museum exhibits, a "Public Safety for Kids" section, written for youth, and more. It also includes a two-month calendar with information about refuse and recycling pick-up schedules for Sierra Vista refuse customers, classes and things to do. Pick up copies at any Leisure facility, City Hall, the Sierra Vista Public Library, Sierra Vista Police Department, Vista Transit Center, and the Mall at Sierra Vista. Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
