Historical Society to dedicate plaque
The Serra Vista Historical Society will dedicate its 18th historical plaque for its "An Historical Treasure Hunt; Sierra Vista's Unique Past" Oct, 11, 11 a.m., at 156 Fry Blvd. Those interested in learning more about the history of Sierra Vista should visit the Henry Hauser Museum, inside the Ethel Berger Center, 2950 E. Tacoma St., Monday – Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Thursday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
