On-post VIN etch planned
The Arizona Auto Theft Authority and Auto Theft Task Force will partner with the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Huachuca Directorate of Emergency Services for a free Auto Theft Prevention and VIN Etching March 21, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., in the post exchange parking lot outside of Building 52030.
The process takes less than 10 minutes and is considered an effective, visual deterrent against theft.

In addition to the VIN etch event, DES personnel will also perform child car safety seat inspections.
