Understand Hohokam culture
The Sierra Vista Historical Society and partners are hosting Amazing Arizona 2015; A Patchwork of Stories.
On April 7, 1 p.m., Allen Dart will present “Arts and Culture of Ancient Southern Arizona Hohokam Indians” in the Mona Bishop Room of the Sierra Vista Public Library, 2600 E. Tacoma St. Dart, a well-known anthropologist and registered professional archeologist, will help the audience understand and identify where and how the Hohokam culture flourished from the sixth century to the mid-1400s in Southern Arizona. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
