Loop 101 (Price Freeway) overnight closures begin Wednesday night (Jul.15)

Work related to graffiti mitigation

Maintenance work related to graffiti removal will require areas on the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) near Rio Salado Parkway and Broadway Road to be closed overnight. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes while the following closures are in place:

• Loop 101 southbound closed near Rio Salado Parkway from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday (July 16). Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramps closed to Loop 101 southbound. DETOUR: Loop 101 southbound drivers can travel south on the Frontage Road to re-enter Loop 101 at Broadway Road. Eastbound Loop 202 drivers can exit at McClintock Road and travel south, beyond the closure to reconnect with Loop 101 southbound at Broadway Road. Westbound Loop 202 drivers can exit at Dobson Road and head south to reconnect with Loop 101 at Broadway Road.
• Loop 101 northbound closed near Broadway Road from 9 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday (July 16). US 60 (Superstition Freeway) ramps closed to Loop 101 northbound. DETOUR: Loop 101 northbound drivers will exit at Broadway Road and travel north on the Frontage Road to re-enter Loop 101 at Rio Salado Parkway. Eastbound US 60 drivers can exit at McClintock Road and head north to reconnect with Loop 101 at Rio Salado Parkway. Westbound US 60 drivers can exit at Dobson Road and travel north, beyond the closure to reconnect with Loop 101 at Rio Salado Parkway.
