Park Service Permanently Removes Confederate Flags From Fort Sumter, Site Where South Fired First Shots Of Civil War
Politically correct run a muck! There is a movement to remove racial references and re-write Mark Twain's books too! I ask you how will future generations know what life was like back then if we continue to sterilize history? We are suppose to learn from history, not change it to make groups feel better. There were a lot of horrible things done under the american flag. Do we ban that flag too? I'm a Vietnam Era veteran who didn't burn his draft card I enlisted and served my country for 20 years. I'm a proud American! So I ask you this? How about dropping the bomb on the Japanese, are World War II veteran's monuments an object for vandals in the future? We need our history AS IT IS so future generations learn not to make the same errors in judgement. The GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY! It's really time to stop this madness it's ripping this country apart! We are ALL AMERICANS!
