The silver fox is a dad! George and Amal Clooney have welcomed twins, Us Weekly confirms. The Money Monster actor, 56, and British human rights lawyer, 39, welcomed a baby boy and girl on Tuesday, June 6. "This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine," a rep for the actor said in a statement to Us. "George is sedated and should recover in a few days." Us Weekly confirmed in February that the two were set to become first-time parents. "[He's] getting a little anxious about the babies' arrival," an insider told Us in May. "But he's nervous and excited, in a good way!" The Oscar winner opened up about their next chapter during an interview on French program Rencontres de Cinema in February. "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure," he said at the time. "We've embraced it with arms wide open." As Us exclusively reported, the Clooneys renovated their 17th century manor in London for their children. The couple got engaged in April 2014 after several months of dating. They tied the knot at the seven-star Aman Venice hotel on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, in September 2014. (US Weekly)

Laguna Beach's Talan Torriero and Wife Are Expecting a Baby Boy. A Laguna Beach baby boy is on the way! Hopping on the Laguna Beach/The Hills baby train, former reality star Talan Torriero and his wife Danielle Torriero announced the happy news that they were expecting a son on Monday. Talan, who was formerly dubbed a "ladies' man" on the MTV reality show, took to Instagram to announce the gender of the couple's first child with an adorable video, filled with exploding confetti. Along with the cute clip, Talan wrote, "@danielletorriero and I are thrilled to announce that we are having a boy in Oct!" Back in April, the duo told the world they were welcoming their first child by posting a video of an ultrasound and their expected due date. Danielle captioned the post, "Baby Torriero coming mid October." She added: "@talantorriero #13weeks." The proud papa-to-be reposted the same video and caption on his own account. The 30-year-old married Danielle in June of 2014, but the couple have been together for more than eight years. Earlier this year, Talan shared a throwback photo of the couple with the caption, "The moment I knew I loved her 8 years ago. I met her 8 years ago today -- happy birthday to @danielletorriero." The one-time MTV star may have grown up in SoCal but it appears as if he's made a big move to the Midwest, giving up the sandy beaches for fields of corn. He and his wife live in Nebraska now. His Instagram profile says, "Laguna raised Nebraska braised." Yeehaw! As we stated before, Talan joins the list of Laguna Beach/Hills alums who are expecting children this year. Lauren Conrad and William Tell announced they were expecting in January. Jason Wahler and his wife, Ashley Slack, announced that they're expecting in February. Whitney Port recently announced that she'll be welcoming a baby with hubby, Tim Rosenman. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are also having their first baby and recently confirmed to E! News that they'll be having a baby boy. Congrats to all of them! (Eonline)

Bella Hadid Admits She Prefers Donuts Over Yoga. Bella Hadid ain't no yogi! E! News' Sibley Scoles caught up with the supermodel at the Nike Cortez launch event at The Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday and the brunette surprisingly admitted that she's not into the yoga craze. Looks like someone won't be perfecting her Happy Baby pose any time soon! "When I work out I love to work out. I train and I work out hard for two hours," said Bella. "I don't like to do the whole yoga thing. I think yoga is calming and it's amazing, but if I am going to go for it I am going to go hard." At the event, Bella posed in a Nike sports bra, black track pants and windbreaker. She also rocked the iconic "Forrest Gump" red, white and blue Nike sneakers, which have some major '70s vibes. The Victoria's Secret model did admit to Sibley that she isn't always jazzed about hitting the gym, but that once she's there, she gets focused on the task at hand. "I wouldn't say I get out of bed and I am like, 'I am going to go work out!' but when I get to the gym -- rock and roll." As for the stereotype that models don't eat, Bella says that's anything but true and joked with Sibley. "You saw me shove a donut...in my mouth. I didn't think anyone was watching!" As for how the tasty treat was? "It was bomb," said Bella. The model announced she was teaming up with Nike in November 2016. She announced the news on her Instagram. Along with a photo of herself in front of a billboard of herself, she wrote, "So excited to announce that I am OFFICIALLY PART OF THE @NIKE FAMILY! More coming very soon." (Eonline)

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd turned the streets of Harlem into their own runway show ... flanked by bodyguards, of course. The couple stepped out Monday night dressed to the nines -- more so Selena, but Abel was rocking a sweet jacket too -- as they did dinner at famed Italian restaurant RAO's. No such thing as a low-key dinner for these 2 anymore though -- they had a small army surrounding them at all times. Gotta say, they've come a long way since their initial PDA in front of cameras -- 'memba that? (TMZ)

Meg Tilly Opens Up About Why She Left Hollywood -- and What It Was Really Like Returning to Play Brad Pitt's Wife. When actress Meg Tilly was in her early 30s and at the height of her fame, winning accolades for roles in films like The Big Chill, Leaving Normal and Agnes of God, she did something not many other Hollywood stars have done -- she completely walked away from it all, to instead raise her three young kids in Canada and give them what she considered "a normal life." "I would always take my children with me when I went on movies," she explains of the bold decision to leave acting. "That worked really well for a few years. But then one year, we went to shoot Leaving Normal and when we came back, my daughter's best friend was best friends with someone else. She was devastated." Tilly says she had a choice to make. "I couldn't be gone six to nine months from my children's lives. I had a challenging childhood, so I didn't feel like I could trust somebody else to raise them. My children didn't ask to be born. I had a responsibility to be there." Tilly, now also a novelist and a romance writer, says she threw herself into being a "June Cleaver" like mom. "My daughter once told me, 'You think if you just make a big stack of pancakes, it will solve the world's problems.' And I did! They had the hot cookies after school and a hot breakfast every morning. I just wanted to be one of those Leave it to Beaver moms. I was just trying to love them the way I knew how best." Now that her three kids (Emily, 32, and David, 30, whom she had with her first husband, producer Tim Zinneman, and Will, 26, whom she had with her partner in the early '90s, Colin Firth) are grown and out of the house, Tilly has quietly been making a return to the spotlight. She first became interested in doing theater and was encouraged by her older sister, actress Jennifer Tilly. "My sister gave me a bracelet a few years ago that said, 'It's never too late to be what you might have been,'" says Tilly. She took on a stage role in Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf, and another role in the Canadian TV drama Bomb Girls. Most recently she was cast in Netflix's War Machine, opposite Brad Pitt as his "age-appropriate wife." "I'm actually older than him!" Tilly says with a laugh. "It's unheard of though, right? At the screening, women kept coming up to me and saying how much they appreciated an age-appropriate wife for the female lead. I must have heard it 50 times." So did she get to kiss him? "I did! But it was like, "Mwah," not like, "Oh, luscious Brad!" In fact, Pitt stayed so clearly in character as a gray-haired war general that Tilly says she forgot he was handsome in the first place. "I was shocked when he came to the wrap party," she says. "I'm like, 'Holy cow, that's Brad Pitt!' He had that [movie star] sparkle and glow." Now that she's somewhat back in the spotlight, does she wish she'd stayed in Hollywood all along? The answer is no. "I didn't allow myself to miss it," she says of leaving. "In those days, the females was kind of the fire hydrant that all the men wanted to prove themselves on. You'd get hit on a lot. That was challenging, dealing with different egos and having to work with people who still wanted to get the girl. It was hard." She adds, "It's not always great being famous. I love not being watched all the time." As for whether she wants to continue acting now, she's not even entirely sure. "I'm not career-building," she says. "I just want my life. I love my life. I'm really blessed. I've had lots of times where I didn't love my life. There's been hard times, but now I just feel so blessed." (People)

Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian Are Not Speaking: She's ''Furious'' With Him. Scott Disick is learning the consequences of his actions. In the aftermath of his PDA-filled trip to Cannes and throughout Europe, where the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was photographed mingling with young starlets including Bella Thorne, Chloe Bartoli and Ella Ross, a source tells E! News he and Kourtney Kardashian's relationship is understandably strained. Our insider reveals the on-again, off-again pair is "currently not speaking," and despite Disick being "allowed to see the kids as of now," an assistant or handler is present in lieu of Kourtney when 7-year-old Mason Disick, 4-year-old Penelope Disick and 2-year-old Reign Disick go between their mother and father. The 34-year-old was photographed with Mason and Penelope in their Calabasas hometown over the weekend. "Kourtney is furious about Scott's recent actions and is taking time to figure out the next step for their family," the source shares. A separate insider says "The Lord" is "hooking up with a lot of different girls," but isn't dating anyone in particular. One woman, who the first source shares has remained constant in Disick's personal life is Bartoli, a 26-year-old personal stylist. Disick and Bartoli were first linked back in 2015 when photos of the duo surfaced around the time Kourtney ended things with her longtime partner. "Scott has been secretly hooking up with Chloe Bartoli for over three months now, and Kourtney knows this is a ploy to get back at her for being with [Younes] Bendjima," the insider explains. Kourtney and her new man were enjoying their own getaway in Cannes at the same time as Scott, shortly before with another source told us, "Scott can't stand seeing her with someone else, especially Younes." Our second source says Scott's behavior stems from him needing to "constantly feel loved, and since he's not getting that from Kourtney, he justifies what he's doing -- the partying and the girls." And while Scott continues to burn bridges with the mother of his children, Kourtney's inner circle is just as concerned with his latest antics. "The Kardashian-Jenner family is extremely upset about Scott," our source shared during Disick's Cannes trip. "It's unfair to the three kids and it's really disappointing considering Scott had made a lot of progress. To throw it all away like this is very concerning." Disick most recently sought professional treatment for health issues related to drug and alcohol abuse back in 2015. It marked the fourth time he had entered rehab. (Eonline)

David Spade got hit hard by burglars, who busted into his Beverly Hills home and walked out with his safe ... TMZ has learned. Sources close to Spade tell us the heist went down over the weekend. The suspects got into his pad, and the only thing they took was the safe, but unfortunately it was filled with cash and jewelry ... including a wedding band that belonged to David's mom. All told, they made off with about $80k worth of stuff. Bev Hills PD was at Spade's house Monday, and he was as thrilled about it as you'd expect. We're told he has a security system, which was on ... but the suspects somehow disabled it. It's the one club NO celeb wants to be in, but David joins Drake, Emmy Rossum, Alanis Morissette, Scott Disick, Nicki Minaj ... and more on the list of burglary victims this year. (TMZ)

Mischa Barton Confirms She's the Victim of "Revenge Porn": "My Absolute Worst Fear Was Realized." The actress told reporters Wednesday that her "absolute worst fear was realized" when she learned an ex had filmed an explicit video of her without her consent and that the images were being shopped around. The O.C. actress and her lawyer Lisa Bloom gave a press conference over the matter, which followed a tabloid report a day earlier about a sex tape. Barton has obtained an emergency restraining order against two exes, who she has not named publicly, over the "revenge porn" and also filed a police report. The Los Angeles Police Department tells E! News in a statement: "A report was taken yesterday at the West LA police station. It is currently under review (the police report) and they are going to establish what entity of the department is going to conduct a throughout and formal investigation" Barton further told reporters at the law offices of the Bloom Firm, "I just want to say I've been through an incredibly hard and trying time. This is a painful situation and my absolute worst fear was realized when I learned that someone I thought I love and trusted was filming my most intimate and private moments without my consent, with hidden cameras. And then I learned something even worse -- that someone is trying to sell these videos and make them public." "I came forward to fight this not only for myself, but for all the women out there," Barton said. "I want to protect them from the pain and humiliation that I have had to go through. No woman should have to go through this and I am beyond grateful to Lisa Bloom, the Bloom Firm and to all of my friends who have helped me through this horrific experience. It is a very hard thing to do but I am glad that I am finally standing up for myself." Her attorney said they believe the images in question were taken over the past year and that Barton had had a "brief" relationship with an ex. She said she and the actress have not been in touch with him over the case and did not know if law enforcement had. She did not specify if there was more than one. Bloom told the press neither she nor Barton have watched the video in question. One reporter told her that a source said Barton was looking at the camera when the recording was made. "I don't think looking at any particular direction is an indication of knowing that one is being recorded," Bloom said. In one of the restraining orders, obtained by E! News, Barton said two past exes are "the only two people who could have any sexually intimate photos or videos" of her. She said that she dated a man in October and that their relationship did not last long. She said that after their broke up, she discovered he had taken without her permission videos of them having intimate relationships, photos of her naked in the shower and other nude pics. She said that she then began dating another man, who told her was a friend of the previous ex and that the ex had bragged to him about the videos and photos. "I was emotionally devastated," Barton wrote. She said she dated the new man "for a while" and that he "too tried to take advantage" of her and forged her signature on some checks and was arrested. He and police have not commented. "I am concerned about both men now," Barton wrote. "I am worried and afraid to be around either of them and do not want either of them to contact me." The restraining order Barton obtained bans the men from going near her or contacting her and also bars him from selling, distributing, giving away or showing any naked pictures or videos of her. Her lawyer told reporters cease-and-desist letters were also sent to people who've been reported as having tried to buy or sell the images. Bloom also said they called the press conference to "let the world know that we consider anyone attempting to traffic these illegally obtained images as agents to this man and agents are covered by the court order." "Revenge porn is a very common crime that happens to a lot of people," she said. "It happens to people who are not celebrities. It happens to the girls and women who are followers of Ms. Barton and it's scary, even for a celebrity to stand up like this, but it's important for girls and women to stand up for our rights." UPDATE: Mischa Barton has had a victory in court after a judge ruled that her ex must return all explicit materials back to her and not release any of them, E! News has learned. Both parties also agreed to a no-contact clause and must remain at least 100 yards away from one another. (Eonline)

Vivica A. Fox's former business partner says she ruined his "Black Magic" male stripper revue by bad mouthing him and stealing his dancers ... according to his lawsuit. Jean-Claude LaMarre says his partnership with Vivica went south when she went on "The Breakfast Club" and said the "Black Magic" guys don't strip for gay men. The LGBTQ community blasted her, and LaMarre says Vivica got pissed at him when he distanced himself from her ... during a "TMZ Live" appearance. According to docs, Vivica started plotting to start her own male revue -- recruiting 4 "Black Magic" dancers -- and bad mouthing LaMarre to sway them to join her team. In the suit, LaMarre says Vivica actively tried to torpedo promotions for his show by calling it a "fake," and telling her fans to avoid "Black Magic" like the plague. We've reached out to Vivica's reps, no word back yet. If this one goes to trial ... we smell a hung jury. (TMZ)

Roger Smith of '77 Sunset Strip' dies at 84. Actor Roger Smith, who brought glamour to the TV detective genre as a hip private eye on "77 Sunset Strip," has died. He was 84. Jack Gilardi, who is the agent of Smith's widow, actress Ann-Margret, said the actor died Sunday morning at a Los Angeles hospital after battling a terminal illness. Smith had battled the nerve disease myasthenia gravis for many years. The actor launched his career in the 1950s when James Cagney spotted him and recommended him for films. He survived two serious illnesses to have a second career after "77 Sunset Strip" as manager of his second wife, entertainer Ann-Margret. From 1958 to 1963, he co-starred with Efrem Zimbalist Jr. on the glossy ABC series. It made stars of both men and a teen heartthrob out of Edd Byrnes, who played a colorful parking lot attendant named Kookie. "77 Sunset Strip" had been created by producer-writer Roy Huggins, who also created "Maverick," and it spawned a host of spinoffs and knockoffs, including "Hawaiian Eye," "Surfside 6? and "Bourbon Street Beat." Smith told the Los Angeles Times that the series aimed to show that private investigators were well-trained, serious men, and not the movie and TV stereotype with "dangling cigarettes and large chips on their shoulders." He was chosen for the part because "I don't look like a detective." But the show had its glamorous side, too. In its Encyclopedia of Television, the Museum of Broadcast Communications said the show revived the crime drama and became "the epicenter of hipness on television, a sun-drenched world of cocktails, cool jazz and convertibles." Then Smith was hospitalized after falling down at home and losing consciousness. He was diagnosed two days later with a blood clot on the brain. In a March 1960 story on the incident, Look magazine blamed medical mistakes for the delay in diagnosis and quoted a doctor as saying, "This boy came too close to being buried -- needlessly." He rejoined "77 Sunset Strip" after recovering and continued in his role as Jeff Spencer until 1963 when the entire cast except Zimbalist was dropped in attempt to revitalize it. The show lingered for only one more year. Meanwhile, Smith got the title role in the NBC series based on "Mister Roberts," based on the 1955 comedy-drama about Navy life. It lasted from 1965-66. When he first gained fame, he had been married to a glamorous Australian actress, Victoria Shaw, with whom he had three children. They divorced in 1965. Meanwhile he was dating Ann-Margret, the dynamic singer, dancer and actress of "Bye Bye Birdie," "Viva Las Vegas" and other films. They were married quietly in Las Vegas in 1967. Smith later quit to manage her career. "Now in Roger I've found all the men I need rolled into one -- a father, a friend, a lover, a manager, a businessman," she told writer Rex Reed in 1972. "It's perfect for me. I couldn't exist without a strong man." For decades Smith guided Ann-Margret's career with great care. She broke her sex kitten stereotype in dramatic fashion in 1971 when she appeared in Mike Nichols' "Carnal Knowledge" as the abused mistress of Jack Nicholson. Critics praised her performance and she was nominated for an Oscar for supporting actress. She was nominated again in 1975 for her portrayal of Roger Daltrey's mother in the film version of the Who's rock opera "Tommy." While appearing at the Sahara Hotel at Lake Tahoe in 1972, she fell 22 feet from a scaffold and suffered severe injuries. "She could quit working tomorrow and we'd have enough money to live on for the rest of our lives," Smith told Reed in late 1972 as she recovered from her injuries. "... But when the time comes, she gets interested in another act or a new film or something that delays it. The fact is, the girl just loves to work." In 1965, Smith was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a disorder that disrupts the transmission of nerve signals to the muscles, causing severe muscle weakness. Despite the disease, Smith continued working when he was able as the effects of the disease varied over time. "I have this great dream that when Ann-Margret gets out of movies, she and I will co-star in a Broadway play," he told New York magazine in 1976. "But right now I still think it's impossible to be married to a successful actress and have your own career and have the marriage work." Roger LaVerne Smith was born in 1932, in South Gate, near Los Angeles. When he was 6, his parents enrolled him in a professional school in Hollywood where he learned singing and dancing. When he was 12 the family moved to Nogales, Ariz., where he excelled in the high school acting club and football team. Smith served 21/2 years in the Navy Reserve, and in Hawaii he sang at social events. Cagney, who was there making a film, suggested that Smith might try for a film career. When Smith's Navy service ended, he signed a contract with Columbia Pictures. Cagney recommended Smith for a role in "Man of a Thousand Faces," the 1957 film biography of silent star Lon Chaney. Cagney was Chaney, while Smith played Chaney's son as a young man. Smith then was cast in "Auntie Mame," playing star Rosalind Russell's nephew, Patrick, as a young man. He and Ann-Margret had no children; in the 1980s, she told interviewers she had tried in vain to get pregnant for over a decade. (PageSix)

Bill Maher is out one big guest for his next live show on HBO this Friday -- Senator Al Franken just canceled his appearance. Franken announced Monday he won't be appearing alongside Maher for Friday's episode. A spokesperson for Franken said Maher's use of the n-word last week was the reason. A spokesperson for Franken tells us, "Senator Franken believes that what Bill Maher said was inappropriate and offensive ... He was glad to see Bill, who the Senator considers to be a good friend, apologize and express sincere regret for his comment." This would seemingly be the first real professional consequence Bill has faced since using the racial slur. As we reported, HBO isn't going to can him ... and his tour dates are fine for now. Ice Cube is also scheduled to appear on Maher's show this week. Unclear if he'll go through with it. (TMZ)

Jason Derulo is in Nashville for the CMT Awards and he's chowing down on all of the amazing food the city has to offer. Derulo is performing a duet with country star Luke Bryan, 40, at the CMT Awards on Wednesday evening, and the pair is spending time together outside of rehearsals, too. Bryan is holding a fish fry at his house in Nashville the day before the awards. "He's going to fry up some grouper," Derulo said. While the food is one of Derulo's favorite things about Nashville, his love for the city doesn't stop there. "I think the people are a little more friendly. What they say about the South is really true. The people here are just warm and welcoming." (Page Six)

Justin Bieber Announces David Guetta Collab Out Friday. Everyone's favorite pop redemption story is teaming up with yet another dance music icon. Justin Bieber tweeted an upcoming collaboration with crossover king David Guetta, coming out Friday (June 9). The cryptic message seems to imply the song title may be "2U," judging by the hashtag. There's no tease about the nature of the tune, but given the pair in question, we expect dance pop at its brightest. Collaborations have done well for Bieber as of late, as he's currently in two of the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100. His star-studded DJ Khaled collab "I'm the One" (also featuring Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne) reached No. 1 but is now No. 3, and was knocked off the top spot by another Bieber feature -- the remix of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," which is currently at No. 1 (chart dated June 17). Who knows, with the Guetta addition, Bieber could rule the entire top 3 next week. (Billboard)

Songs of the Summer Chart Returns to Billboard.com, Led by 'Despacito'. The annual warm-weather ranking splashes back onto Billboard's charts menu, as the race officially begins for the top summer song of 2017. What will be the top song of the summer? We can officially begin making our way toward the answer, as Billboard's annual Songs of the Summer chart returns to Billboard.com. The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day. At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be crowned. First, a few flashbacks: Drake's dancehall-tinged "One Dance," featuring WizKid and Kyla, reigned as the top song of the summer of 2016. OMI's reggae/pop hit "Cheerleader" won top honors for 2015, while, the year before, Iggy Azalea's debut smash "Fancy," aided by Charli XCX's vocal hook, ruled as the top song of the summer of 2014. The previous official songs of the summer this decade: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams (2013); Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" (2012); LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock (2011); and, fittingly, Katy Perry's beach-centric "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg (2010). This year, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, the Hot 100's current leader, ranks at No. 1 on the first Songs of the Summer survey (dated June 17), followed by Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" at No. 2 and DJ Khaled's "I'm the One," featuring Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne at No. 3. Rounding out the first Songs of the Summer chart's top five are Kendrick Lamar's "Humble." (No. 4) and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" (No. 5). Who'll win this summer's chart battle? We've got a hot 100 days, give or take, to find out. (Billboard)

Everything We Know About the Top Gun Sequel Starring Tom Cruise. After all of these years, there's still a huge need for speed. More than three decades after the release of the blockbuster smash Top Gun, moviegoers can look forward to a brand-new sequel already in the works. And while the star himself Tom Cruise confirmed the news just a couple of weeks ago, fans are receiving more and more teases of the project. "We're going to have the same tone as we had in the first movie. Stylistically, it's going to be the same. We're going to have the same score," Tom shared with Access Hollywood in a new interview. "We're going to have big fast machines. It's going to be a competition film like the first one." He added, "There's going to be aircraft carries. There's going to be jets." As for drones, Tom is staying mum on that one. While some may expect the movie to be called Top Gun 2, the actor revealed that the tentative title is Top Gun: Maverick. "I didn't want a number," Tom explained. "You don't need a number." If you're thinking all of this information is coming out so quickly, you're kind of on to something. Just last year, Tom admitted on The Graham Norton Show that he was in the very early stages of trying to plan a sequel with Jerry Bruckheimer. Fast-forward to May when Tom surprised fans on Australia's Sunrise that the film is happening with filming starting "probably in the next year." While many details still remain up in the air -- did you get that folks -- one co-star has already expressed his interest in starring in the movie. Val Kilmer recently took to social media with an announcement: He's ready to spread his wings and fly. "Friends said it's official - #TOPGUN2 was announced today," he wrote on Instagram. "I'm ready Tom- still got my top gun plaque! Still got the moves! Still got it!" While we wait for more scoop and details to emerge, one thing is certain: Tom couldn't be more pumped for his latest project. "I'm very excited. I am really excited," Tom shared with Access Hollywood. "It's a great challenge." (Eonline)

Box-Office Showdown: Tom Cruise's 'The Mummy' to Get Lassoed by 'Wonder Woman'. Last month, early tracking for Universal's The Mummy suggested the summer event film would debut to $40 million or so when opening in North American theaters this weekend, a tepid start for the first title in the studio's planned stable of films built around its iconic monster characters. The forecast for the reboot has only gotten scarier from there -- at least domestically. One of the industry's most respected polling services, NRG, downgraded its projection to $38 million last week and to $35 million Monday. Such surveys can certainly be unreliable, but if NRG is correct, The Mummy will lose this weekend's domestic box-office race to holdover Wonder Woman. Universal insiders say The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise, will be fine thanks to the international box office, where the actor remains a huge draw. The movie is rolling out in most major markets this weekend, timed to its U.S. launch. Directed by Alex Kurtzman, the modern-day take cost $125 million to make after tax rebates, and also stars Sofia Boutella, Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance. "The Mummy arrives with the feel of another reboot -- something audiences, especially in North America, have become all-too familiar with," says box-office analyst Jeff Bock. "It had better succeed overseas." Bock and others predict that Wonder Woman could drop as little as 50 percent from its domestic debut this past weekend, meaning it could take in $50 million-plus for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The foreign box office is a different story, where The Mummy is expected to place No. 1. It wouldn't be the first 2017 summer tentpole to see most of its treasure come from outside the U.S.: Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has crossed the $500 million mark globally in under two weeks, thanks to a foreign haul of $393 million through Sunday. In recent years, Cruise has enjoyed far more success overseas, outside of the Mission: Impossible series. In June 2014, Edge of Tomorrow debuted to 28.8 million in North America before topping out at $100.2 million domestically. It did nearly triple that overseas, earning a total $270.3 million for a global cume of $370.5 million. Oblivion, released in spring 2013, grossed just under $200 million internationally, compared with $89.1 million in North America. Reviews of The Mummy won't be published until mid-week. On May 22, Universal unveiled its new Dark Universe label. The endeavor includes director Bill Condon's Bride of Frankenstein, set to hit theaters Feb. 14, 2019.(Hollywood Reporter)

Written and directed by Sanjeev Sirpal, the raunchy comedy stars Bryan Greenberg as a man who, upon discovering his fiancee's infidelity and canceling his wedding, opts to take his best friend (Brooks Wheelan) on the already-paid-for honeymoon -- an adventure that goes awry when they cross paths with the mafia. Spencer Grammer, Brittany Furlan, Beth Littleford, Kyle Kinane, Jessica Lowe, Ayden Mayeri, Alphonso McAuley, Caitlin McHugh and Joe Pantoliano are also featured in the film. Gunpowder & Sky releases Random Tropical Paradise in limited theaters and on VOD on June 9. (Hollywood Reporter)

On the Set of FXX's 'You're the Worst': A Family of Misfits Who "Have a Lot Left to Say". It doesn't have the biggest viewership, but the comedy packs a lot of heart into heavy topics including depression, PTSD and abortion. A fourth-season renewal gave the close-knit cast even more to bond over. You're the Worst wrapped its third Emmy-contending season on a hot, dual-unit day last September. The two scenes couldn't have been more different. In downtown Los Angeles, leads Aya Cash and Chris Geere were enjoying a playful game of "You Dropped Something," in which their characters, Gretchen and Jimmy, taunt passers-by as they spend an afternoon drinking. The scene ultimately would get cut from the finale. Elsewhere, Desmin Borges and guest star Collette Wolfe were filming Edgar and Dorothy's breakup in a sparsely decorated Echo Park apartment that, at the end of the season, would become the home of Kether Donohue's struggling Lindsay. The FXX half-hour, created by Stephen Falk (Orange Is the New Black), is the anti-romantic comedy -- Jimmy and Gretchen are two horrible people who are great at being terrible together. The series became a critical favorite in season one, but broke out in its sophomore run when it earned rave reviews for its portrayal of Gretchen's clinical depression. It averaged 1.09 million total viewers across all linear and nonlinear platforms in season three, where the serious subject matter continued to be family-focused as Gretchen went to a therapist and Edgar battled some PTSD demons; Lindsay's pregnancy and Jimmy's grief over the loss of his not-so-beloved father also pushed the show's line between comedy and drama. "We found a way to meld the fun we had in season one and the creative and tonal flights we took in season two and meld them in a really nice way in season three," says Falk. "I talked about this season being about family, but this morning I realized it's really about the complications of trying to keep a relationship going -- and hopefully we are doing it in a fun and not depressing way." The season also marked the first time that Falk was able to film a finale with the knowledge that the series was renewed for a fourth season and wasn't on the cancellation bubble. "It feels different. ... There's never been a positive article about our ratings until our third season premiere -- and the reviews were great," he says. "That's what we really care about the most. The hope is that the network likes us and sees longevity, because I feel we have a lot left to say." (Hollywood Reporter)

So much DRAMA! The Real Housewives Of Orange County may be down Heather Dubrow, but life has certainly moved on for the OG housewives. As you may recall, season 11 of the Bravo hit left Vicki Gunvalson once again at odds with her castmates (with the expectation being Kelly Dodd). Well, thanks to the recently dropped season 12 trailer, it seems as though the tension between the ladies hasn't gotten any better! The teaser not only features Vicki's longtime feud with Shannon Beador, but it also introduces new housewife Peggy Sulahian as Miz Dodd's latest enemy. Sulahian has already made history as she's the network's 100th housewife -- OMG! Joining Vicki, Kelly, Shannon, and Peggy are returning cast members Tamra Judge, Meghan King Edmonds, and on-off housewife Lydia McLaughlin! And it looks like these ladies are going to bicker about everything, especially since they've stretch the Brooks Ayers lying about cancer plot as far as they can. In fact, at one point this season, the women will focus on rumors that Judge's husband Eddie is gay. (Perez Hilton)
