Overnight lane restriction scheduled on Interstate 10 at Craycroft Road

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restriction as construction continues at the Interstate 10 and Craycroft Road traffic interchange:

Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) at Craycroft Road (milepost 268) from 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, for bridge work. Vehicles are restricted to 11 feet width limit. All vehicles over 11 feet in width must use the Craycroft Road ramps to exit and re-enter the highway.

A temporary bridge over Craycroft Road will remain in place during the replacement of the overpass bridge decks, allowing traffic to remain on the interstate while the decks are replaced one at a time.

The $3.3 million project is scheduled for completion in fall 2017.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please visit the website at http://azdot.gov/CraycroftTI.
