I-10 West ramp to Loop 303 North closed Friday night for construction work

PHOENIX – One of the ramps at the Interstate 10/Loop 303 Interchange in the West Valley will be closed overnight for construction work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The westbound I-10 ramp to northbound Loop 303 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday(March 5) while crews place temporary concrete barrier wall in the area. The temporary barrier wall will be in place for the recently-launched project to build the “south half” of the interchange connecting the two freeways in Goodyear.

DETOUR: Consider exiting westbound I-10 at Sarival Avenue and then heading north to westbound McDowell Road and northbound Cotton Lane in order to enter northbound Loop 303 at Thomas Road. Please follow detour signs.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.

For more information on the project, please visit azdot.gov/loop303 or contact Gaby Kemp at gkemp@azdot.gov or928.699.8983.
