Maintenance work on I-19 in Pima County

Southbound Interstate 19 will be reduced to one lane at Esperanza Road (milepost 41, kilometer 65) south of Tucson in Pima County on Thursday (March 17) from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to allow Arizona Department of Transportation crews to conduct maintenance work.

      • One lane will remain open at all times.

      • Message boards will guide drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead to avoid the closure or allow extra travel time if traveling during the scheduled closure period.
