Overnight traffic signal work scheduled tonight in Surprise

PHOENIX – Overnight traffic signal work will take place tonight at the intersection of Grand Avenue (US 60) and Bell Grande in Surprise, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Work is scheduled to take place overnight between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. (March 17). Crews are anticipated to temporarily close a lane as they work on the traffic signal at the intersection.  As soon as the work is completed all associated temporary lane restrictions will be removed. Law enforcement will be on-site to help monitor traffic.


ADOT works to inform the public about planned restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
