Paving north of Parker next week may impact travel to Lake Havasu City
Delays of approximately 15 minutes expected
Crews will be applying the final layer of rubberized asphalt at the intersection of SR 95 and Cienega Springs Road north of Parker next week, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation, delays are expected.
Crews will be milling and paving the northbound and southbound lanes of SR 95 beginning on Tuesday (March 15) through Friday (March 18) between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Temporary roadway striping and rumble strip application is scheduled to be completed the following week (March 21).
Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time as flaggers will be used at times to alternate traffic through the work zone. Drivers should prepare for delays of approximately 15 minutes.
Permanent roadway striping is scheduled to be applied in early April.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
