Travel window designated for farm-equipment operators at Interstate 8 and Araby Road in Yuma

Other drivers: Use alternate routes to avoid heavy delays on Araby Road between 10 and 11 a.m.

With construction underway at Araby Road and Interstate 8 in Yuma, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has established a designated daily travel window -- from 10 to 11 a.m. -- for farm-equipment operators to travel through the work zone. All other drivers should use an alternate route, such as Avenue 8 ½ E and Avenue 3E, between 10 and 11 a.m. or plan for heavy delays on Araby Road as farm-equipment operators are escorted through the work zone.

ADOT has also designated farm-equipment staging areas on the north and south sides of the interchange. Farm-equipment operators should wait at one of the staging areas until they are directed through the work zone safely. Learn more and see a map of the staging areas on the project web site.

Outside of the daily travel window, farm equipment operators should seek alternate routes.
