Plan for overnight closures of ramps on Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway)

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting maintenance on freeway safety barriers along the Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) beginning Thursday, April 26. Drivers should allow extra travel time and use available detours while the following restrictions are in place:

Westbound Loop 202 connecting ramp to eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, April 26, to 5 a.m. Friday, April 27. Detour: Drivers can exit westbound Loop 202 to northbound 24th Street and use westbound McDowell Street to access eastbound Interstate 10.

Westbound Loop 202 connecting ramp to northbound State Route 51 (Piestewa Freeway) will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, April 26, to 5 a.m. Friday, April 27. Detour: Drivers can exit westbound Loop 202 to northbound 24th street and use westbound McDowell Road to access northbound SR 51 and eastbound Interstate 10.
