The first day of Autumn officially arrives today (10:21am EDT, in the Northern Hemisphere, in the Southern Hemisphere today is the beginning of spring), but you'll have to wait for this weekend when much cooler air will invade the northeastern U.S.

Tom Felton, the man Harry Potter fans love to hate, turns 29 today. He played Draco Malfoy, Harry's nemesis. Oh, wait. I guess that would be nemi-brother. Another year and he'll be old enought to get a rent-a-broom.

Scott Baio turns 56 today. Yes, he started out as Cha-chi in Happy Days... and, last time we checked, he's still there.

Joan Jett celebrates birthday number 58. Oh, yes and she still loves rock and roll. How could you possibly have a mid-life crisis after her career? How could there be anything left in your system to get out of?

Debby Boone is celebrating her 60th birthday and still lighting up lives... Her hit "You Light Up My Life" is not to be confused with the old standard, "You light up my wife!"

In San Francisco it's against the law to walk an elephant on market street unless it's on a leash.
In Natchez, Missouri, it's against the law to provide alcohol to elephants.
Virginia, Minnesota: You're not allowed to park your elephant on Main Street.
Elephants may not be used to plow cotton fields in North Carolina.
