TODAY IS

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon turns 42 today. Or, should I say "Tonight." A few more birthdays and he'll be able to do some spot-welding with that cake.

Musician Candy Dulfer turns 47 today. You can always count on her for good sax.

Mrs. Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, turns 52 today.

Cheri Oteri, one of the few "Saturday Night Live" alums with a rhyming name, probably the only one, turns 54 today.

The original skinny model, Twiggy -- Leslie Hornby -- turns 67 today. She always had to be careful on her birthday and not get too close to the cake. Otherwise, someone could mistake her for a candle and light her!
She's still so thin that when they light the candles on her birthday cake, she has to stand back to make sure she's not accidentally lit.
She always has to stand back from her birthday cake, because she's so skinny, she could be mistaken for one of the candles and be lit on fire.
These days, she's more knotty than naughty.
She was the first supermodel so skinny, that boy scouts would always accidentally try to fly a flag on her.

Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers turns 76 today. He hasn't lost that lovin' feeling, he just can't remember where he left it.

Adam West, the TV version of "Batman," turns 88. These days, he's wearing control-top leotards.

Talk Like a Pirate Day -- Words like "arrggg matey" or "bloke" don't really fit in today's everyday lingo.
