Gwyneth Paltrow turns 44 today. She gave us "Shakespeare in Love" and the phrase, "uncoupling." Lately, she's been seen in the company of millionaire playboy Tony Stark.

Shaun Cassidy has da doo ron ron into his 58th birthday.

Former 'Entertainment Tonight' host Robb Weller turns 67 today. He's of the people claiming he invented "the wave." You know, when the crowd cheers in a rolling pattern at a game. Says he got it going at the University of Washington. Go to "Wave (audience)" for the full story on Wikipedia.

Singer Meat Loaf (Marvin Lee Aday) turns 69 today. Frankly, he's gotten pretty stale. One of the few singers whose songs go better with ketchup.

Randy Bachman, who sang "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet," is 73. Bottom line: by now, you've seen it all.

Ancestor Appreciation Day -- a day for everyone to appreciate their ancestors.
