Ryan Seacrest and Adriana Lima Are Dating -- Get the Scoop on the New Couple. There's a brand-new couple in Hollywood! E! News has learned that Adriana Lima and Ryan Seacrest are dating and have most recently been spotted on a romantic dinner date in New York City. The two connected during their time in Rio for the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the rest, as they say, is history! Lima and Seacrest also previously spotted grabbing a bite to eat at Dell'Anima in the Big Apple over the weekend. And while the 35-year-old Brazilian model and 41-year-old television host and producer have yet to publicly discuss their new relationship, but the famous duo seem to be having fun since they returned to the U.S. weeks ago. When the two were in Brazil for the games, Lima posted several pictures of her with Seacrest as well as her close pal Alessandra Ambrosio. In fact, she snapped a shot of the group of three enjoying lunch after one of their shoots and called Seacrest both "charismatic" and "handsome." Lima has been previously marriage to Serbian NBA star Marko Jaric, whom she has two daughters with. Don't speak, Gwen Stefani! When asked during On Air With Ryan Seacrest September 9 whether she'll wed Blake Shelton, the No Doubt alum demurred, "Everything is going so quickly. . . . I'm in the moment and, um, look at me, you've got me tongue-tied." Perhaps that's because, as a Stefani insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, the "Used to Love You" singer, 46, and Shelton, 40, haven't even told their families the date. Adds a Shelton source, "They want to get married before the end of the year." Until then, the couple will stand up in front of friends, family and fans -- and sing. At Shelton's tour kickoff in Oklahoma City September 9 and 10, the recent divorces performed their duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," before sharing backstage Snapchats. (In one of Stefani's posts, Shelton held up an I ? Gwen T-shirt!) "They are both very, very happy," says a Shelton insider. "Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her." Despite filing to divorce ex Gavin Rossdale (with whom she shares sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2) after 13 years of marriage last August, 2016 has been rejuvenating for Stefani. "I look at this year and I think, 'I just feel so awake,'" she added to Seacrest September 9. "I feel so alive and so grateful ... this year has been so full of so much joy." And she plans to make her big day with Shelton -- who was married to Miranda Lambert for four years prior to their July 2015 split -- an intimate celebration of that happiness. "Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings," another source previously told Us. "It would likely be at Blake's ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn't really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together." (US Weekly)

Rumor has it that Cheryl Hernandez might be pregnant with Liam Payne's baby. The former X Factor judge and her One Direction star boyfriend went public with their relationship back in February and it seems the two are closer than ever now, with rumors of Cheryl's "pregnancy" circulating the internet. Fans are convinced that the 33-year-old is carrying Liam's baby due to her recent suspiciously over-sized choice of clothing and "fuller face" in the new L'Oreal advert. (British Glamour)

Gigi Hadid has thrown shade at her and Zayn Malik's exes whilst speaking to ES Magazine. The 21-year-old model and ex-One Directioner are about to celebrate their one year anniversary and Gigi couldn't be happier she finally found the right match it would seem. When asked what attracted her most to Zayn, Gigi said: "I would say his brain. For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work and that is really important." "We cook a lot together and do art together and we're each other's best friends. We both feel we can talk about anything and learn a lot from one another." Ouch, we wonder what Joe Jonas and Perrie Edwards will think of that? Hadid also went on to talk about how she and BFF Taylor Swift love the British charm and how Zayn's a dab hand in the kitchen, she said: "I'm also getting super into British foods. I'm loving Heinz baked beans in the morning, yeah and Z cooks a lot. He makes a brilliant curry. Butter chicken is his signature dish. Don't worry - he's representing good for the British boys!" The model also spoke about doing nude work, commenting: "I have just been very picky about doing nudes and only doing it when it felt right". "I have done it. And there were times when it didn't feel comfortable, and I haven't done it for a while. It's always the people that I am working with who remind me that [my body] is part of the image." Revealing interview, indeed. (British Glamour)

Calvin Harris Is in a "Much Better Place" After Taylor Swift Breakup. How the tides have turned. When Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift first broke up, it seemed to be an incredibly amicable split. The Scottish DJ addressed the rumors surrounding his split with a simple tweet that said he and Swift have nothing but respect for each other. In return, T. Swift retweeted his words, proving that they really were making the bets of it. However, the status of their post-breakup friendship came into question after Calvin slammed the "Style" songstress for trying to take credit for co-writing "This Is What You Came for." Since then, Calvin has changed his tune (pun intended) about his ex-girlfriend. Despite being spotted with various women over the past few weeks, a source tells E! News that Calvin, who real name is Adam Wiles, is not serious with anyone. "Adam is single. He is dating a few different women. Nothing has stuck. He is not looking for a relationship at all, just fun times with friends," the source tells us exclusively. "Adam is in a much better place after the breakup with Taylor." Although he was upset at first about his relationship coming to an end, Calvin has moved on. Swift also moved on with Tom Hiddleston, but that relationship also came to an end three months after it started. "Adam is not surprised that the relationship did not work with Tom and Taylor," our insider dishes. "He is just happy to not be in the relationship anymore and realized they were not a good fit in the end, but he wishes her the best!" Calvin previously opened up about his breakup with Swift in British GQ, explaining that his headline-making split made it all the more difficult to handle. "It's very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly," he told the publication. "The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself." He added, "When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense." Harris even admitted to regretting using social media to slam his ex-girlfriend. "It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled," Harris told GQ. "It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped. I'm not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I'm a positive guy." (Eonline)

Mending their friendship. Rose McGowan penned a lengthy note of support to Shannen Doherty amid her cancer battle. When Doherty, 45, left Charmed after three seasons, McGowan, 43, was brought in as her replacement in 2001. The move created a rumored rivalry between the two women, and in her post, McGowan slammed Hollywood for putting them at odds. "As young women we were pitted against each other for society's pleasure," the Jawbreaker actress wrote on Instagram Tuesday, September 13. "The rules of Hollywood engagement brainwashed into us were truly vile. The men & brainwashed women in our business made it so we couldn't be friends, I regret that. We were cast in this weird fake reality show where we were supposed to be enemies. I resented it greatly. I regret not being awake enough to articulate this to you at the time." McGowan explained that she was scared of saying or doing the wrong thing on the Charmed set, because she didn't want to be cast out as Doherty had been. Doherty also left Beverly Hills, 90210, after four seasons for rumored feuding. "Fear was drilled into me from day one in this town & you were the barometer by which my behavior was judged. I was under a microscope, one false move and I'd be branded 'difficult' just like you," she wrote. "The Bad Girl Shaming you received at the hands of the media was merciless. ... I had to prove I wasn't as bad as you or I'd get the axe, too. But we were never the bad ones, it was them, the Beige Brained White Dudes in Charge." The pair never actually feuded, though, McGowan insisted. "I refused to give them the cat fight they so wanted. Shannen, we didn't know it yet, but we were the good ones," she wrote. "There was a strongly inferred threat of me being blacklisted in tv as I'd been in film. Instead of understanding that we were a different breed, they tried to crush us, but they couldn't. I send you strength." Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015. She underwent a single mastectomy in May but revealed in August that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. The actress has been documenting her fight on Instagram, sharing emotional moments such as shaving her head. Doherty is nearly finished with her chemotherapy and radiation treatments and previously told Entertainment Tonight that she's finding the silver lining in her situation. "I could not have gotten through this without my husband [Kurt Iswarienko]," she said. "My marriage was always strong, but it's made my marriage a thousand times stronger." (US Weekly)

Selena Gomez is tired of being hung up on Justin Bieber. The 24-year-old "Same Old Love" singer, whose on-again-off relationship with Bieber, 22, began in 2011, "changed her phone number," a Gomez insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. "She told everyone not to give it to him." The impetus: a mid-August argument over Instagram in which Gomez told Bieber to stop posting photos of him and girlfriend Sofia Richie if he couldn't "handle the hate" from jealous fans. "It should be special between you two only," she wrote on his post. Bieber then allegedly accused Gomez of cheating. "Oh I forgot about You and Zayn?" he reportedly commented, apparently implying she had been unfaithful with former One Direction member Zayn Malik. "Selena lost it," continues the source. "She can be fragile emotionally and Justin is a major factor." Now Gomez, who canceled her Revival tour because of lupus-related anxiety, is "focused on her mental health." As Us Weekly previously reported, the "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer revealed via a statement on Tuesday, August 30, that she's taking a break to cope with her "panic attacks and depression." "As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have Lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I've discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of Lupus, which can present their own challenges," her statement read. "I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone and by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues." (US Weekly)

Tara Reid Is Bloodied and Bruised: "This Is What Bullying Looks Like." Everyone can relax: Tara Reid is doing just fine. The 40-year-old actress took a startling selfie on the set of her new movie, Worthless, and shared it via social media Tuesday. Reid's bloodied and bruised appearance led some fans to express concern over her safety, but they needn't have worried: She was just wearing makeup. "I'm so excited being back in New Jersey where I was born and raised. I'm shooting my new movie Worthless," she tweeted Monday. "It's an anti-bullying movie." When Reid shared the picture via Instagram Tuesday, she wrote, "Everyone be kind to each other. This is what bullying looks like." When she tweeted the picture, Reid clarified that it was taken "on my new movie." Reid -- who last reprised her role as April Wexler in SyFy's Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens -- is no stranger to bullying, making Worthless extra personal. As she recently told In Touch, "Today is harder than ever for teens with all the cyber bullying out there. I'm part of a 'No Hate' campaign because bullying has become so out of control with the Internet. I want to put an end to it." For years, Reid said she was bullied over her physical appearance. Today, though, "I feel great about my body," she said. "People always tell me to eat a burger -- I love burgers! If I were to gain 10 pounds, I'd be asked why I got fat. I'm thin -- and I'm good with that. People need to stop with the body shaming! I won't let what anyone says stop me from enjoying my life." That attitude applies to her penchant for partying, too. But that's not what she'd like to be known for anymore. "I like to have fun when I'm not working. But I'm professional while I'm at work, and I've never been in trouble or arrested," Reid told the tabloid, "so I don't deserve it!" The hardest part of being in show business has been "getting roles" with a party girl reputation. "I truly feel I need to constantly prove myself in this business. I've done 46 movies, and it's still tough to get roles when you're misunderstood and judged," the actress told In Touch. "I've learned to not take things too seriously," she said, "and that not everyone is going to love you." (Eonline)

Ludacris is beyond pissed at his baby mama, Tamika Fuller ... accusing her of altering photos of their daughter to make him look like an unfit father. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Tamika claims she picked up their 2-year-old daughter from daycare in May after she was in Luda's care -- he has primary custody -- and noticed "bruises and abrasions" on her face. Tamika says she took their daughter to a hospital for emergency care, and a social worker there recommended DFCS get involved. In docs, she says DFCS wanted to keep Luda away from the girl. Ludacris filed his own docs though, saying Tamika made up the whole story ... and even digitally edited photos of the alleged injuries and submitted them to the court. He adds, DFCS records will back that up. Tamika says the whole case has been squashed -- their daughter is back in Luda's care -- but she insists he used his wealth and fame to intimidate DFCS investigators. (TMZ)

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are rich celebrities who feel they're above the law ... so claims the lawyer for the LAX employee who, for the umpteenth time, is trying to get them to sit for a deposition. You'll recall the LAX employee, Ronaldo Owens, sued Halle and Olivier almost a year ago after Olivier used a baby's car seat to shove him ... and it was caught on video. That altercation was the last straw that caused Halle to pull the plug on her marriage. The divorce has since stalled, and we're told neither Halle nor Olivier are currently interested in moving forward on the divorce, and she's even holding out hope he'll get his anger under control. Owens' lawyer says he's tried 4 times to get Halle and Olivier to sit for a deposition but he says his efforts have been thwarted. Halle and Olivier's lawyer says he's willing to produce his clients, but only if they get assurance Owens won't go blabbing to the media about what was said. Owens' lawyer rails back, "In this country, litigants are not afforded special treatment because of who they are or who they think they are." Owens wants the judge to order them to sit for a depo ... or else. (TMZ)

Wade Robson isn't giving up! In a new lawsuit filed by the celebrity choreographer, he alleges Michael Jackson's companies MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures acted as a smokescreen for a very elaborate pedophile ring. As we previously reported in 2013, Wade has accused M.J. of abusing him for YEARS starting when he was just 7-years-old. Mr. Robson first met the singer at age five after winning a dance competition hosted by MJJ Productions. In the legal doc, W.R.'s lawyer contends the companies had "dual purposes" -- AKA procuring young victims for Michael to assault. The legal rep went on to add: "The thinly-veiled, covert second purposes of these businesses was to operate as a child sex abuse operation. They designed, developed and operated what is likely the most sophisticated public child sexual abuse procurement and facilitation organization the world has known." Wow... these are some SHOCKING claims. To add credence to Wade allegations, he recalls how two years after the dance competition his mother contacted Jackson's assistant Norma Staikos to set up a meeting with the icon. Staikos, which the suit refers to as a "madame or procurer", then invited Robson's family to stay at Neverland Ranch and during the overnight Wade slept in the entertainer's bed. The dancer alleges this is when the abuse first occurred. Despite the heinous crimes, Wade testified to no abuse in a separate case due to Jackson's supposed brainwashing. The 33-year-old now hopes he can hold the late star accountable by going after the production companies. Currently, a trial is set for March 13 to decide whether or not Michael's companies "breached their duty to take reasonable protective measures to protect minor children in their charge." THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Camilla Belle to Be Honored, Stevie Wonder to Offer His Idea of "Heaven" at 2017 Art of Elysium Gala. The annual Art of Elysium Heaven Gala has turned into a must-attend event for Hollywood's A-list -- and for two in particular in 2017. The non-profit organization, which promotes creative services between artists and communities in need throughout Los Angeles and New York City, will celebrate the organization's 20th anniversary at its 10th "Heaven" Gala on Jan. 7 -- the night before the Golden Globes, as is tradition. That night, the spotlight will be on Stevie Wonder and Camilla Belle during the charity's largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds directly supporting the empowerment of young, aspiring artists in the disciplines of music, fine art, fashion and theater/media arts. Wonder has been selected as the 2017 Visionary and will conceptualize his idea of heaven for the black-tie gala's one-night artistic installation, while Belle is the recipient of the Spirit of Elysium Award for her sincerity, initiative, and commitment to volunteering, as well as her overall support for Art of Elysium. "I am honored and humbled to be receiving the Spirit of Elysium award for being involved with an organization that I believe in so deeply," Belle said in response. "The Art of Elysium has become a part of my daily life over the years." Past Spirit of Elysium Award recipients include Amber Heard, David Arquette, Elijah Wood, James Franco, Kirsten Dunst and Eva Mendes. Jennifer Howell, who founded the non-profit in 1997, explains, "Artists are creators with a platform that can alter the way people experience the world around them, particularly during challenges or crisis-driven situations. Our volunteers are inspired through their acts of service and creating from a place of compassion, resulting in their artistry becoming a catalyst for social change and transformation." (Eonline)

Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose was at a private party for 100 Monday to celebrate with fellow rock icons AC/DC before he plays Madison Square Garden with them on Wednesday to replace out-of-commission crooner Brian Johnson. Spies said Rose was at a table with AC/DC guitarist Angus Young at Old Homestead Steakhouse in the Meatpacking District, and was overheard telling his pals about how he first came to the restaurant 24 years ago. "Axl explained that, one night on tour, bandmate Slash was so inebriated that he peed [in] the bed in the hotel where they were staying. Slash's girlfriend was so grossed out, she slept in the suite's parlor." When Rose encountered the young lady, they chatted and he mentioned he loved steak. "She told him to check out Old Homestead .?.?. the band went a couple nights later and dropped $22,000." This time around, formerly hard-partying Rose mentioned he doesn't drink on tour, and Young stuck to ginger ale. As far as Rose's relationship with Slash, our spy revealed -- "Axl said as he gets older he understands Slash better." (Page Six)

Bella Hadid Falls During Michael Kors Fashion Show (and People's Faces Say It All). Ouch! Bella Hadid lived a model's nightmare Wednesday when she wiped out on the runway during the Michael Kors fashion show in New York City. The 19-year-old bombshell fell flat on her face, but managed to get back up and finish the show with the rest of the models, which included Kendall Jenner. While we could describe the embarrassment and pain that Bella probably felt in the moment, we'll focus instead on the faces of the people in the audience, which happened to include Emily Bluntand Sienna Miller. The reactions from those watching (no one got up, by the way) truly says what we're all thinking and feeling while looking at the photos of Bella collapsing. Everyone seemed to have their phones out to record all the models, but little did they know they would capture this type of footage. It's almost like a car accident -- you don't want to watch but you can't help but stare. (Eonline)

Bella Thorne has a new tattoo - and Snapchatted her experience at the tattoo shop. The star showed off her new inking while lying on the tattooist's table. She's chosen to ink the words 'wild kitty' onto the back of her calves. She shared the snap on her Snapchat account: Bella was later spotted leaving a yoga class - props to the 18-year-old for soldiering on with her workout despite just being tattooed! (British Glamour)

A model fainted at an Alice + Olivia presentation Tuesday and it wasn't due to overheating or exhaustion. "She has um .?.?. how do I say this politely? Stomach issues. And I guess due to the runs .?.?. she was dehydrated," an insider explained. The unnamed stricken model was quickly carried out by two guards as the others continued to strike statuesque poses for two hours in Stacey Bendet's chic collection, which was "inspired by 18th-century tarot cards and elements of the sun, moon, earth, air and fire." Music producer Jimmy Jam's daughter Bella Harris also modeled in the show. Editors stood on line as fashion flacks ushered in a VIP crowd including model Jessica Hart, who picked a dress from the presentation to wear to a wedding next week, as well as Christina Milian, Devon Windsor and Leona Lewis. Justine Bateman -- who starred in '80s TV hit "Family Ties" and is the sister of Jason Bateman -- is not enthusiastic that there's a stage play of the show in the works. Bateman, who will graduate from UCLA in June with a degree in computer science, tweeted, "Ew, ew, ew, ew," in response to a Variety report that "Family Ties" will become a play backed by a producer of "Wicked." (The show's debuting far from Broadway, in Dayton, Ohio, near where the series was set.) Bateman, who will be 50 when she earns her degree, has said, "When I graduate, I will either run a division of a company .?.?. or I'll get funding for my own company." Meanwhile, brother Jason will next star in "Office Christmas Party" with Jennifer Aniston. (Page Six)

Hilary Duff's older sister, Haylie, is about to pocket $865k ... if she gets the asking price. It's pretty incredible ... Haylie, who's an aspiring TV chef, bought the 3 bedroom, 3 bath Studio City pad only 18 months ago. She paid $1.33 million back then, but is now selling it for $2.195 mil. The 3,150 sq foot home appears to have been updated. There's a sleek pool, plenty of outdoor space and a kitchen with 2 islands, which Haylie's gotta hate to see go. (TMZ)

New mom Nicky Hilton Rothschild, who gave birth to daughter Lily Grace Victoria in July, is doing it all this Fashion Week. "I am with the baby most of the time, but I've been able to schedule feedings to make some of my friends' shows," she told us at Dennis Basso. "I just took her for her first shots today, which was very, very sad." But, "She started smiling and laughing .?.?. which melts my heart every time." Looking very slim, Hilton said, "I haven't worked out once since I have given birth." (Page Six)

Diddy nailed it when he challenged the black community to demand more from Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump ... and Sway seconds that motion. The BET, VH1 and SiriusXM host (in your face, Seacrest) joined us on "TMZ Live" to break down Diddy's call for a sort of boycott. There's some debate about whether Puff meant don't vote at all ... or just hold the candidates' feet to the fire before you do vote. We got into it with Sway, who added -- regardless of race -- it's hard to believe ANY politician. #Preach (TMZ)

Jimmy Kimmel Doesn't Want to Win an Emmy in 2016. Jimmy Kimmel isn't preparing an acceptance speech for the 2016 Emmys. "Oh, I know I'm not gonna win," says Kimmel, who just so happens to be hosting the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday. ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! is competing in the Outstanding Variety Talk Series category alongside Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Crackle), Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (HBO), The Late Late Show With James Corden (CBS), Real Time With Bill Maher (HBO) and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC). Kimmel predicts John Oliver will take home the award, as he "does a great show" each week. Don't pity Kimmel, who's hosted his namesake show since 2003. "Honestly," he admits, "I don't care that much." Kimmel didn't do any campaign this time around. "I had done that a couple times. Like we had an event where you invite the Emmy voters to come and you do like a panel. And there was another -- a party where you meet people and stuff like that. And you know what? It's a bummer, really. It makes you feel like a real piece of s--t in a way," the host, 48, says in The Hollywood Reporter's Sept. 23 issue (where he poses as characters from Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot and The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story). "People shouldn't vote for you because they like you or they met you at a bowling alley, they should vote for you if they think you're the best one," he explains. "And I don't see myself doing that kind of thing ever again." So, what does Kimmel want instead? "Mostly I just want to do well as host. I would rather get a laugh than the trophy. I'd rather have a funny [moment]. Even when I'm presenting or whatever, right?" he continues. "I just want it to go well and afterward everybody to say, 'Oh, that was funny.' That's to me its own reward." Kimmel adds, "You know, you can't put laughter on a shelf." He hopes Jimmy Kimmel Live! loses, because he's prepared a "very strong bit" in response. Winning would "screw that up," Kimmel explains. "I will be totally discombobulated if we win." (Eonline)

New York's "Palestinian Power Couple" is no more: Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters, a vocal critic of Israel, has split with Palestinian journalist and author Rula Jebreal. Pink Floyd rocker Waters, 73, and Jebreal, 43, had been dating for a few months earlier this year, in the aftermath of Waters' split with his fourth wife, Laurie Durning, Page Six exclusively revealed. Their relationship became the talk of the Hamptons -- where Waters owns two homes -- because both are outspoken supporters of Palestinian rights. Waters is a supporter of a boycott of Israel and has likened treatment of Palestinians to apartheid South Africa, sparking criticism from the pro-Israel lobby. Likewise, Jebreal is an articulate critic of Israel and has written three books, including "Miral" -- about women caught in the crossfire of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict -- which was made into a movie by her ex, the famed artist Julian Schnabel. A source had told us of Waters and the beautiful Jebreal's relationship, "It is the talk of the Hamptons, and some people are calling them the 'Palestinian power couple.' One can only imagine the pillow talk." But another source now tells us, "It was over as quickly as it began -- while they agreed on many issues, they couldn't find common ground on others. Plus, their families didn't get along." Ironically, Jebreal and Waters got to know each other after they were introduced by his ex-wife Durning and Jebreal's now ex-husband, biotech entrepreneur Arthur Altschul Jr. To the shock of both their exes, they then started a relationship. "It was very weird for their former spouses, who introduced them .?.?. Rula had asked to meet Roger because he's a vocal activist for Palestine. The two former couples have had dinner together many times. They were all friends." The source continued, "But after Roger split with his wife, he began an affair with Rula. Arthur found out, and their marriage ended." Reps for both Waters and Jebreal didn't get back to us. (Page Six)

Chrissy Teigen Offends Twitter Over the Use of the Word "Oriental." Chrissy Teigen is in trouble with the Internet again. The supermodel has found herself in hot water with Twitter before, and this week she has done it again -- this time over salad dressing. It all began when Teigen tweeted about an "oriental dressing" on her flight. "I really really really really clearly am not a PC type of gal but I'm a little weirded out at the oriental dressing option on my flight," she tweeted. "Like, if you're over 50 you can call me oriental to my face but this is a new menu and I'm not a rug." While her commentary started out OK (in the minds of the Twittersphere), it all took a turn when a user asked her if she found the term "oriental" offensive. "Not offensive, really. Just weird. Old school. Just say Asian," she wrote, adding that her "PC-ness is very lenient." When users started to disagree with the social media star, Teigen clarified that she found the term outdated despite not being personally insulted by it. "But them saying 'oriental' makes no impact on me. I know that, most of the time, their intention is not to hurt," she continued. "It's not a slur, though. It's just a bit of forgivable ignorance." The more Teigen tried to clarify her point, the angrier Twitter became. "@chrissyteigen sorry, but they are correct 'oriental' is pejorative/derogatory when its used to describe people from Asia," responded one user. "@schubie71 @chrissyteigen I agree, it might not be offensive to her but it's considered offensive to many," responded another. "It perpetuates cultural ignorance." Never one to stay silent, Teigen tweeted even more of her feelings. Eventually Teigen chalked up the uproar to a "miscommunication," but continued to reiterate that she was not offended by the term "oriental." "Do I think saying "oriental" is inappropriate? Yes. Laughable and ignorant. Am I OFFENDED when I hear it? No." she added. Teigen has been in trouble with Twitter before, having to shut down the haters about an IVF confession she had made, as well as having to defend herself against a sarcastic comment she made about Amber Heard. Simone Biles Releases a Statement Regarding Drug Testing Leak. Simone Biles found herself the victim of the latest hacking scandal regarding Olympic athletes. Russian computer hackers acquired and published documents from the World Anti-Doping Agency's athlete database, which revealed private medical information about the gymnast as well as Serena Williams and Venus Williams -- all three of which were reportedly given medical exemptions to use banned drugs. The documents show that Biles -- who took home four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics -- tested positive for a banned drug on WADA's list, though there was no misuse of drugs. The International Gymnastics Federation has declined to comment so far, but the athlete still took to Twitter herself to release a statement and reiterate that she did not do anything illegal. "I have ADHD and I have taken medicine for it since I was a kid," she wrote. "Please know, I believe in clean sport, have always followed the rules, and will continue to do so as fair play is critical to sport and is very important to me." The World Anti-Doping Agency's director general also released a statement, saying, "WADA deeply regrets this situation and is very conscious of the threat that it represents to athletes whose confidential information has been divulged through this criminal act." The hackers, who go by the name Fancy Bear, warned that they planned to release the medical records of even more athletes from around the world again soon. "This is just the tip of the iceberg," a statement posted to the Fancy Bear's website said. "Today's sport is truly contaminated while the world is unaware of the large number of American doping athletes." (Eonline)

Magic Johnson's Wife Gets REAL About The Night He Revealed His HIV Diagnosis & 'The Long List Of Women' He Had To Call! Although Magic Johnson's announcement about his HIV-positive status was decades ago, his wife Cookie remembers it like it was yesterday. For her new memoir Believing in Magic, the ultimate WAG touched on her husband's decision to go public about his diagnosis and the humiliating process of tracking down his past lovers. As you may recall, the former NBA star shocked the world in 1991 when he revealed that he was retiring from the Los Angeles Lakers as he was diagnosed with the disease. Of course, before Magic made his public confession, he first told his beloved wife -- only six weeks into their marriage. To make matters worse, Cookie was pregnant at the time. Oh man! In excerpt obtained by DailyMail, Miz Johnson wrote: "My husband walked toward me, took my hand into his and slowly marched me back into the den... the two of us sat at the foot of our huge chaise lounge and I held my breath." At another point, the mother-of-two added: "In just one moment our world, this perfect union we'd fought so hard and so long to have was obliterated." So sad! After the basketball icon told his wife that she could leave him, the loyal spouse grabbed the American athlete's hand, placed it on her belly, and told him they would "beat this together." Intense stuff! Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of the A-lister's hardship as he then had to call as many of his past lovers as possible to inform them of his condition. Cookie revealed Johnson had: "... locked himself in a room and called the long list of women with whom he'd been intimate." Obviously, the 57-year-old had her own hardships as she had to deal with the fear that her baby might have HIV too. She noted: "Every morning I would wake up in a panic, worried that I too might be HIV positive and die. Or worse, that my baby would be sick and not make it. The stress coursed through my veins like a poison, occupying practically every moment of my day." Thankfully, Cookie's test result came back negative. The most interesting thing about this memoir is how Magic's HIV diagnosis wasn't even the biggest struggle the powerhouse couple faced during their longtime relationship. Apparently Cookie and Magic were on and off for 12 years prior to getting married -- and it appears infidelity was a BIG problem in the Johnsons' relationship. The fashion designer noted: "This would be the first of many times in our romance journey that (Johnson's) fear of commitment and penchant for alpha male dominance would tear us apart." Oof! Be sure to catch all of the drama for yourself by snagging a copy of Believing in Magic when it drops on September 20. (Perez Hilton)

Lady Gaga in Talks to Play the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show? Lady Gaga is the latest artist rumored to be in talks to headline the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show on Feb. 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston. Billboard reported Tuesday that the NFL is "hot on the singer" after her acclaimed performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50. The pop star has not addressed the rumors, and her rep has not returned E! News' request for comment. Meanwhile, the NFL told E! News in a statement, "We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We're happy there is so much excitement about the show." If not Gaga, then who? Few contenders have been named, but on Aug. 13, Adele claimed she had been asked to do the show. "First of all, I'm not doing the Super Bowl," the Grammy winner told fans during a concert in L.A. "I mean, come on! That show is not about music. And I don't really...I can't dance or anything like that. They were very kind. They did ask me, but I did say no." "I'm sorry," Adele added, "but maybe next time." But, on Aug. 14, the NFL and Pepsi later issued a joint statement downplaying the singer's claims. "The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show," the organizations said. "However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time." Performers at previous Super Bowl Halftime Shows have included Aerosmith, Beyonce, the Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Prince, the Rolling Stones and The Who. (Eonline)

Justin Timberlake Says He's "Absolutely" Down to Collaborate With Britney Spears. We have a strong feeling that this news is going to be music to your ears. For anyone who grew up in the '90s and early 2000s, chances are you have fond memories of the bond shared between Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. So perhaps it wasn't a surprise that when the "Piece of Me" singer recently said that she would like to collaborate with J.T., the Internet and pop culture fans alike freaked out. If you are curious to know what Justin thought of the comment, wonder no more. Ladies and gentlemen, he's totally interested. "She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely," he told E! News' Marc Malkin exclusively at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his Netflix concert documentary film Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids. "I have a 17 month old so I don't get the headline news." He added, "I apologize for not being in the know... I'm accessible, give us a call!" Just last month, Britney participated in a fan Q&A for Most Requested Live with Romeo where she was asked to reveal her dream collaborators. As it turns out, the guy who wrote the breakup ballad "Cry Me A River" was on her list. "Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He's a genius I think. He's very rock n' roll. He sings from his soul," Britney explained. "Gwen Stefani, I think she's great." And then she added the most important name (drumroll, please), "Justin Timberlake is very good." To nobody's surprise, the revelation drove everybody crazy -- for all the right reasons -- and even received support from 'N Sync member Lance Bass. "I would love to see that happen, of course. I think everyone in the world wants to see them together again in any capacity. It's like everyone's childhood dream," he shared with E! News' Sibley Scoles at the MTV Video Music Awards. "I think it would be an incredible collaboration. I would want it to be a dance number, though. I want them to both -- kinda like that Michael-Janet [Jackson] type thing, would be incredible." You don't have to ask us twice. We'll be waiting and ready to listen ASAP. Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids premieres on Oct. 12 only on Netflix. (Eonline)

Birdman is tired of being the fall guy for Lil Wayne, and insists there's no way Cash Money can drop "Tha Carter V" ... because Weezy's the one holding the master recordings. Sources connected to Birdman tell TMZ ... Wayne's threat to retire isn't sitting well with the Cash Money honcho, who says the narrative he's holding the now-mythical album hostage ... is total BS. We're told Weezy has the physical recording, and refuses to fork it over -- so Birdman feels like his hands are tied. For Wayne's part, we're told he'd be happy to give up 'Carter V' ... AFTER they work out the money. Translation: Cash first, music second. We're also told Weezy will never leak it on the Internet because he ain't giving it up for free. In Wayne's original lawsuit, he said he was owed an $8 million advance for the record, plus another $2 mil upon its completion. We're told that amount, plus a few more million -- for past Young Money album sales -- would be the best shot for the record to see the light of day. Soooo ... we're saying there's still a chance, but it's gonna take a lot of zeros. (TMZ)

Miranda Lambert Ends Tour Early, Reveals New Album Coming In November. Tuesday brought good news and bad news for fans of country star Miranda Lambert. The bad news: Lambert has been forced to cancel the last three dates of her Keeper of the Flame Tour, which was scheduled to wrap up in her home state of Texas this weekend. Live Nation announced that doctors have ordered mandatory vocal rest for the singer. The Lone Star State darling had been set to perform Thursday in Corpus Christi, Friday in Austin, and Saturday in San Antonio. No word yet on whether the dates will be rescheduled. Last summer, Lambert canceled a show in Calgary, Canada, due to vocal cord inflammation. And, the good news? Lambert announced the name and release date of her next album. A suspenseful 47-second black-and-white video posted to her Twitter account Tuesday shows the singer sitting in her trailer, back to the camera, writing in a notebook. The message is her exciting album news: "The Weight of These Wings. Nov. 18." The announcement follows her video for "Vice," which debuted in July as the first single from her upcoming sixth studio album. It has been more than two years since she released her previous album, Platinum, which won the Grammy for Best Country Album in 2015. The Weight of These Wings will be produced by Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf and Eric Masse. (Billboard)

Hear Dwight Yoakam's Twangy Tribute to Prince: A Bluegrass 'Purple Rain'. When Dwight Yoakam's new album drops Sept. 23, it will feature a surprising tribute song: the country icon's take on Prince's "Purple Rain." Alongside 11 reworks of his own tunes, Yoakam's Swimmin' Pools, Movie Stars ...will include a bluegrass version of the pop classic. The country star shared the cut exclusively with People on Tuesday (listen here), and told the magazine how the twangy cover came to fruition. Yoakam said he had been planning the album in the spring when he heard the shocking news of Prince's death. The music legend was found dead April 21. An accidental overdose of the painkiller fentanyl was to blame, according to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office. "The fact that he was found alone at his compound just seemed ... a tragic punctuation to the sense of the loss for millions that he had brought such joy to with his music," Yoakam told People. "We were all lamenting it, and I said, 'It just feels like we should record "Purple Rain."' I had always loved the simplistic beauty of that melody and refrain." Yoakam got the blessing of Lenny Warnoker, the label executive who signed Prince, then 18 years old, to Warner Bros/Reprise Records. Of his connection to Prince's original, Yoakam shared: "The first time I heard it, it stopped me in my in car. I thought it spoke volumes about the honest willingness of the person who wrote it to bare his heart to the world through his music. Prince, I never really knew you, but I'm sure going to miss you." Always in her heart. Adele took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late Amy Winehouse on Wednesday, September 14, which would have been the late singer's 33rd birthday. The "Hello" songstress, 28, shared a photo of the pop icon standing in front of a muted pink wall, wearing a black fur jacket and sporting a huge smile. "Happy Birthday Amy X," Adele simply captioned the snapshot. This isn't the first time the English-born songbird has expressed her love for fellow Brit Winehouse. During an October 2015 interview with Vice'si-D magazine, Adele revealed that the Back to Black songwriter -- who, like Adele, channeled and transformed a retro British-soul sound with her incredible voice -- is the sole inspiration behind her now-massive music career. "If it wasn't for Amy and [her 2003 debut album] Frank, 100% I wouldn't have picked up a guitar," she told the publication at the time. "I wouldn't have written Daydreamer or Hometown, and I wrote 'Someone Like You' on the guitar too." Fans were recently reminded of Winehouse's tumultuous life -- marked by toxic relationships and addiction -- in the Academy Award–winning documentary Amy, which was released in July 2015. The film chronicled everything from her childhood and chart-topping career to her headline-making antics and her eventual death at age 27 of a drug overdose in July 2011. During her chat with i-D, Adele said that she went to go see the movie when it came out, but ended up regretting it. "I wasn't going to [see it]. I loved her and I went through my own massive grieving process as her fan. I'd finally got to a place where I felt really great about the impact she'd had on my life, in every way. I felt really, really fond of it all," she explained. "But then I read this review of it and that made me go and see it." While she found Amy's funeral footage to be particularly moving, Adele was not a fan of watching Winehouse's more personal moments peppered throughout the film. "I got super emotional with the funeral footage. But I wasn't really that into the saved voicemails and stuff like that. I felt like I was intruding so I actually felt a little bit uncomfortable and that ruined it for me. I love watching her, but I kind of wish I hadn't seen it," she continued. "But you know, I love Amy. I always have, I always will. Do you know what makes me super sad? That I'm never going to hear her voice again, other than how I've heard it." (US Weekly)

"Go to the Police!" That's what fans were urging Tara Reid to do on Wednesday, September 14, when she posted a photo of herself looking battered and bruised to her Instagram account. Reid had dark, purple bruises across her forehead and face, making her look like she had been severely beaten up. But luckily the star's shocking appearance was only makeup for her new anti-bullying movie, Worthless. The 40-year-old's caption read: "Everyone be kind to each other. This is what bullying looks like. #Worthless." However fans immediately reacted to her appearance, not realizing it wasn't real. "Omg are you ok???" wrote one. "Holy s--t. Prayers your way," commented another. There was an onslaught of people begging her to tell them what had happened and urging her to report the attack. Luckily though it wasn't long before fans took note of the movie name hashtag and breathed a sigh of relief. The Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars standout flew to the film set on Sunday, September 11. She posted a picture on social media on the plane. "On my way to shoot my next movie Worthless in Philadelphia here I come." The next day she tweeted her excitement at being back in her home town. "I'm so excited being back in New Jersey where I was born and raised," she wrote. "I'm shooting my new movie Worthless it's an anti-bullying movie." (US Weekly)

Cynthia Nixon's Emily Dickinson Biopic 'A Quiet Passion' Acquired by Music Box for U.S. Terence Davies' film had its North American premiere in Toronto after a Berlin bow. Music Box has taken the U.S. rights to Terence Davies' A Quiet Passion, a period drama that stars Cynthia Nixon as the shy American poet Emily Dickinson. A late first quarter 2017 theatrical release is planned. "We feel very lucky to be entrusted with Terence's latest. He is a singular filmmaker and A Quiet Passion shows him working at his most sublime," said Music Box Films managing director Edward Arentz in a statement. The film's ensemble cast includes Jennifer Ehle, Keith Carradine and Duncan Duff, and had its North America premiere in Toronto after a debut in Berlin. Double Dutch International earlier signed deals for A Quiet Passion for Germany, Spain, Australia/New Zealand, the UK and China. Sol Papadopoulos and Roy Boulter of Hurricane Films produced A Quiet Passion with Belgium's Potemkino. Jason Van Eman, Ben McConley and Ross Marroso of WeatherVane Productions, Stuart Pollok of Indomitable Entertainment, Dominic Ianno and Jason Moring are executive producers. The U.S. deal was negotiated by Nick Shumaker of UTA representing the producers, and Music Box Films president William Schopf. (Hollywood Reporter)

Steven Spielberg, Harvey Weinstein Prep Rival Films Based on True Kidnapping Tale. Robert De Niro is circling the role of Pope Pius IX in The Weinstein Co.'s rendition. Harvey Weinstein and Steven Spielberg are poised to go head-to-head once again. The Weinstein Co. is moving forward with a drama based on the true story of the kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara, with Robert De Niro circling the role of Pope Pius IX. The move pits the untitled film against an Amblin Entertainment project on the subject that will mark Spielberg's next directorial effort. Baltasar Kormakur is in talks to direct the Weinstein film, which Jeremy Brock (The Last King of Scotland) is penning. Julia Chasman (25th Hour), who has been developing the property for 15 years, is producing, while Nick Wechsler (Magic Mike, The Road) is executive producing. It's an intriguing twist for the story about a 6-year-old Italian boy who in 1858 was taken from his Jewish parents by police and raised Catholic. Weinstein had been developing a film for eight years based on the David Kertzer novel The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara, which also piqued Spielberg's interest. The two flirted with combining forces, but that was unlikely given the fraught history between them (a bruising best picture Oscar campaign in 1999 that saw Weinstein's Shakespeare in Love beat Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan for best picture). Then, in April, Spielberg decided to move forward solo. But Weinstein wasn't about to take the move lying down and put on the fast track his own version of the story of Mortara, who became a high-ranking priest in the Augustinian order. The projects likely will focus on different years in Mortara's life. Bridge of Spies Oscar winner Mark Rylance is set to star as the pope in the Amblin project, but Weinstein is countering with his own Oscar winner in De Niro. Though there are no deals in place yet for De Niro or Kormakur, the TWC plan is to be in production in January. Spielberg is looking to shoot his version in spring 2017 and turn the film around in time for a release during awards season. As for which version will get Pope Francis' anointment, Weinstein might have the edge. He screened Philomena for His Holiness in 2014 and garnered Oscar buzz in the process. (Hollywood Reporter)

Adam Goodman, Zhang Zhao Join Forces to Create Le Vision Entertainment. Goodman, the former president of Paramount's motion picture group, will head the new company with backing from China's digital giant LeEco. Adam Goodman, the former president of Paramount Pictures, has been named president of Le Vision Entertainment as Zhang Zhao, vice chairman of LeEco, the Chinese digital giant, looks to produce English-language film, TV, VR and digital content for the worldwide market. LeEco announced Wednesday that it has acquired Dichotomy Creative Group, the production company that Goodman founded last year after leaving Paramount, where he served as president of the motion picture group. Goodman, who will report to Zhang, will be charged with producing a slate of big-budget tentpoles as well as micro-budgeted movies as he did at Paramount where he was involved in both large-scale movies like the Transformers and Mission: Impossible franchises along with low-budget breakouts like the Paranormal Activity series. And he'll also develop TV and digital projects. Le Vision Entertainment -- or LeVE as it will be known in short -- plans to both fully-finance some films and co-produce others and also expects to strike partnerships with Hollywood studios on distribution, slate-financing and co-financing deals. Zhang also oversees Le Vsion Pictures, a subsidiary of LeEco that is China's third-largest film studio and that has produced Tiny Times, the biggest-grossing film franchise in China; invested in The Expendables franchise; and is currently co-producing Zhang Yimou's upcoming The Great Wall, starring Matt Dillon, with Legendary East and Universal. "Both of us are really thinking about how to do something different," Zhang said of his decision to partner with Goodman. "The more successful you are in China, the more you are thinking that the Chinese film industry needs a lot of help from here," he said during a visit to Los Angeles on Tuesday. At the same time, he added, he has found American studios' approach to China "frustrating. How do you connect American movie brands to Chinese audiences? That's more important than just making some box-office back in China. Don't take China as a territory. Take it as a whole market. We want to do something different to bring our industries together." Goodman elaborated, saying: "A lot of times we've heard people talk about how China is becoming the wallet and Hollywood is becoming the factory. That's not what this is. This business is a cultural partnership that is being created here. We're not launching a company that is funded by a Chinese business, but a Chinese movie studio in Los Angeles." LeEco, which began in 2004 as an online video service, is one of the largest online services in China and now is also involved in everything from TVs to smartphones to electric cars. According to Goodman, "The company that we are creating here is founded with a technology background and an internet background. We're coming at the business from a very different perspective than the studio system, which has one single channel for delivery. The business here is calcified just because we all respect the institution." While the two said LeVE's first goal will be to make movies that can reach the largest global audience theatrically, they are also looking to take advantage of other platforms. Zhang declined to put a number on the size of the investment he'll be making in the new U.S. operation or to set a goal for the number of films and TV shows they hope to turn out annually. But, the two emphasized, they're entirely open to different types of content -- the films won't necessarily contain a Chinese component. "We are very much aiming for good movies for global audiences, they don't have to be China-related," Zhang said. "A movie is a movie. But our Chinese marketing ability will be the backbone to support the movies we're making." Goodman promised: "We'll be able to put a fairly robust program together." And Zhang added that because he is invested in long-term brand building in China, "we can really change the landscape of global filming." (Hollywood Reporter)

Who Is Blindspot's Jane Doe? We're About to Find Out in Season 2. Who really is Jane Doe? We're about to find out on Blindspot, and it's going to change pretty much everything. Jane's (Jaimie Alexander) relationship with Kurt (Sullivan Stapleton) has already been basically ruined by the reveal that Jane was not actually Kurt's childhood friend, Taylor Shaw. At the same time, Jane learned that she had orchestrated the whole thing -- tattoos and all -- on herself, but she still didn't know who she was. "To Kurt, it was a huge betrayal," Stapleton told E! News during NBC's summer press tour. "He believes that she could have potentially known the whole time. So that's kind of hard-hitting, to be an FBI agent and have those beliefs that are wrong." One new face this season is that of The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi, who made her debut in Wednesday night's premiere. "She's an NSA operative who's been watching the Jane Doe case for about a year, and sees that there's a complete breakdown of trust with the revelation of Jane not being Taylor Shaw," Panjabi explained. "I come in and try to heal the wounds that are there." The season two premiere opened with Jane in a CIA black site, with authorities still trying to figure out who she is and what she knows. We won't have to wait long before we get some answers, because the whole season hinges on them, according to what showrunner Martin Gero told press during the show's TCA panel this summer. "If the first season was about who is Jane Doe, we want to answer those questions so we can move into what the second season is about, which I can't really tell you because it is a spoiler if I say what the theme is," he teased. Of course, Jane won't want to stay at that CIA black site for long, and the team will be back together in some form or another in no time, but things will never be the same. Blindspot premiered Wednesday night at 10 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

Miley Cyrus Is Handing Out Marijuana and Stirring Up Trouble in Woody Allen's New Amazon Show Crisis in Six Scenes. Prepare for double the Miley Cyrus this fall. Not only is the pop star and actress set to make her official debut as a coach on The Voice on Sept. 19, Cyrus is also starring in Woody Allen's highly anticipated first TV show, Crisis in Six Scenes. And judging from Amazon comedy's first trailer, she's looking right at home in the 1960s-set series, which will debut on Sept. 30. In our first look at Crisis in Six Scenes, Cyrus (sporting a long blonde Hannah-Montana-esque wig) handing out marijuana, inspiring older women to burn their bras and quarreling with Allen, who also plays the lead character. "I don't dislike you...it's just everything that you stand for," she tells him. Oh, and he's not as crazy about her, because she eats all of his navel oranges. In addition to Allen (who also wrote and directed all the episodes) and Cyrus, the six-episode series also stars Elaine May, Rachel Brosnahan and John Magaro, and centers on a middle class suburban family's household being turned completely upside down by a guest. We'll give you one guess as to who that guest is. Crisis in Six Scenes is Cyrus' first big acting role since So Undercover in 2012, though she had small parts in the comedies The Night Before and Sofia Coppola's A Very Murray Christmas, which were released last year. The show also marks Allen's TV debut, as it's the first show the four-time Oscar winner has created and directed. "I don't know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin," Allen said when the series was first announced. "My guess is that Roy Price will regret this." As for Cyrus, she was a little more enthusiastic than Allen when she was cast in the series. "F--k yeah ! Stoked to be in Woody Allens first series!!!!!" Cyrus wrote on Instagram. "I had claimed 2016 to be my year of 'chillin the f--k out' but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A. & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be apart of the cast and work alongside the bad a$$ Elaine May & da dude himself! 1960zzzz here I [come]." Crisis in Six Scenes premieres Friday, Sept. 30 on Amazon. (Eonline)

'Bloodline' Will End on Netflix After Season 3. The streamer renewed the Kyle Chandler drama for a shortened 10-episode season in July. The end is near for Bloodline. The third season of the twisted family drama starring Kyle Chandler will be its last on the streaming service. The Sony Pictures Television-produced series was renewed in July, shortly after the second season debuted on May 27. At the time, Netflix told The Hollywood Reporter that it would not be the final season. However, in an in-depth story on the inner workings of the streaming giant, THR exclusively revealed that Netflix had notified Sony that the upcoming season, set for 2017, would be the show's final outing on the platform. The streamer also cut the episode order from 13 episodes to 10, and slashed licensing fees on the show. Still, the two companies deny there are tensions between them. It's unclear whether Sony will try and shop future seasons of Bloodline elsewhere. Series creators and executive producers Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler have said that they have a five- or six-season plan for the drama. "We're doing a TV series, so even in our own mind, we're asking ourselves, 'Does this series have seasons in it?' " Zelman told THR last year. "When we pitched it and we thought about it, we were thinking five to six seasons down the line because we wanted to make sure it could hold that much material. So we certainly have ideas for where everything could go and hopefully where everything will go." Prior to the renewal, a third season of Bloodline had been uncertain after Florida cut its entertainment tax incentives program, therefore making the series much more costly to produce. The Islamorada-based drama, along with Miami-set HBO football comedy Ballers, had grabbed the last of the available monies from the $300 million the Sunshine State had allocated for film and TV projects in 2010, allowing both shows to get through their second seasons with significant financial breaks. But with the incentives pot dry, season three of Bloodline will likely be a pricier undertaking. Todd A. Kessler, for his part, acknowledged the uncertainty of the show's future at the Los Angeles premiere of Bloodline's second season in early June. "Netflix is evaluating how it's doing for them and how it's performing, and are very hopeful that there will be a future as are we," he told THR, later adding that the series isn't just shot in the Keys because of financial enticements. "We decided to set the show there ... because it's crucial to what the show is, not because of the tax incentive, but it does affect things financially for us and the show will be challenged because of that. It makes things more difficult." The cancelation marks a rare move for Netflix. Apart from axing the Norway crime drama Lilyhammer and the horror entry Hemlock Grove after each of their third seasons, the streaming platform has yet to cancel any of its other original series. Netflix's roster has grown significantly in the last three years, up from five original series in 2013 to nearly 30 and counting. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Mr. Robot': Grace Gummer on Filming Mass Shooting Scene and How 'Real Housewives' Inspired Dom. "I don't think she gives a shit if people are doubting her, or if she's not going in the right direction. She's just not going to give up," the actress tells THR about playing federal agent Dom DiPierro. Everything goes south in the blink of an eye -- or at least in the blink of a pedestrian crossing signal. Dominique "Dom" DiPierro, the tenacious federal agent at the heart of Mr. Robot's second season, has tracked two persons of interest to a West Village restaurant. She radios for backup, breathes deep, crosses the street, and enters the restaurant, immediately engaging in a tense conversation that viewers are not allowed to hear. Seconds later, two men on a motorcycle roll by. One of them hops off, crosses the street, and -- just as the crossing signal counts down to zero -- unloads an automatic weapon on the restaurant's inhabitants. Gunfire is exchanged. Dom tags the shooter. The cops arrive. The shooter shoots himself rather than be taken alive. Dom bursts through the restaurant doors, flashes her badge, surveys the damage, and breathes, blood and panic all over her face. "That was a very hard scene to shoot, because it was a oner," Grace Gummer, the actress who plays DiPierro, tells THR about the 20th episode of the USA Network drama's intense cliffhanger. "It was the middle of the night. We closed down Sixth Avenue and Spring Street. I did about 50-100 burpees before each take to get myself all revved up and sweaty, as if I had been running for a block. There was so much going on, with the timing of the cop cars and then the Dark Army pulling up and me running in and going outside with the blood splattered... so we really had to get it right. We did a lot of rehearsals, and that was the last one we did, just as the sun was coming up, and it was the best one." The harrowing scene, presented in one uninterrupted shot by Mr. Robot creator-writer-director Sam Esmail, stands out as one of the most haunting images of the show's run, let alone its second season. It also summarizes DiPierro, the new kid on the block this season. "My character, Dom, lives and breathes this job -- just how Sam lives and breathes Mr. Robot," says Gummer, describing the relentless way in which Agent DiPierro focuses on the task at hand and forges her way forward in the investigation into fsociety. Although she certainly represents an antagonistic force barreling toward Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek) and the hackers at the heart of the tale, Dom herself comes across as one of the show's few "white hats," purely motivated in her pursuit of the parties responsible for the show's 5/9 Hack, an event that's thrown the global economy into utter chaos. But looks can be deceiving, as someone like Elliot knows all too well -- and perhaps Dom knows it, too. "I still feel like I'm finding out who this person is," says Gummer. "She has so many layers to her and so many secrets, that I don't think she even faces herself. I think she puts her entire self into her work, sort of in fear of or distraction from discovering who she really is. She has no life, so she puts all of herself into this case." Not that viewers don't know anything about Dom. Really, they know quite a lot: she's a born and raised New Jersey native (Gummer says she watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey and conjured up memories of New Jersey classmates in preparing for the role), with very little time for beating around the bush, and all the time in the world for lollipops. "That is a Sam thing," Gummer laughs, talking about Dom's snacking habits. "The turkey sandwiches, the eating, the oral fixations she has -- that's all Sam's idea. But I do think those sort of eccentricities add to the specificity of who she is. It makes her so different from everyone on the show." Differences aside, Dom shares at least one common thread with virtually everyone on the show: her sense of loneliness. Few ideas are so central to the premise of Mr. Robot than the isolation that occurs in the modern digital era. Viewers witnessed Dom's solitary existence firsthand at multiple points early in the season, through her insomnia and her bleak conversations with Alexa, one of Dom's few friendly sounding boards -- a sounding board that just so happens to be an Amazon app. "When you think you know who someone is, you're completely wrong," Gummer says about Dom's personal life. "You think she's earnest, friendly, nice... and she is all of those things, but then she goes home, and she has no one to go home to. She listens to weird country music, puts on a bunch of makeup, falls asleep to reality TV, and masturbates to fall asleep. There's this whole other side to people that we don't know, that we think we know through social media and their online profile, but you don't know this person." Indeed, Gummer teases that there's even more about Dom's personal life waiting to be revealed: "You'll see more in the next couple of episodes that will reveal more about her, and marry her personal life with her work." For her part, Gummer felt she finally started understanding DiPierro during an early season two exchange with BD Wong, the veteran actor who plays Dark Army hacker Whiterose. The scene takes place in China, with DiPierro disclosing details about her past -- why she became a federal agent, a decision rooted in romance gone wrong -- in an unexpected moment of openness with Wong's enigmatic character. She remembers: "That was the first scene where Sam and I first looked at each other and said, 'Okay, this is what we're working with. This is who she is.'" The morning following her intimate 10 minutes with Whiterose, DiPierro is plunged into the thick of a firefight with Dark Army operatives ("Sam likes those action oners," says Gummer), and in the ensuing weeks, she's hot on the heels of Elliot's colleagues, friends and family, bringing her right up to the moment where yet another masked gunman unloads his weapon on a group of individuals that may or may not include Dark Army hacker Cisco (Michael Drayer) and fsociety lieutenant Darlene (Carly Chaikin), Elliot's sister. "She knows that someone got away," Gummer teases about what's coming next. "She knows that she maybe f -- ed up. She doesn't know what happened. I think she's incredibly exhausted, like I was when I got home from finishing that scene." But exhaustion won't stand between Dom DiPierro and the work that needs to be done, at least not for long. "I don't think she gives a shit if people are doubting her, or if she's not going in the right direction. She's just not going to give up," says Gummer. "Maybe that's why Sam made her a true Jersey girl. I definitely connect to her in that way, being a New Yorker. That fearlessness, that toughness that gets her up in the morning and helps her do her job very well. I think she thrives on that challenge. She uses that challenge as fuel for her to not give up and to keep going, in a Jodi Foster, Silence of the Lambs sort of the way. She's the only one who truly believes in it, so she's going to go for it." (Hollywood Reporter)

TV Rating: 'Talent' Hits Highs, 'Better Late Than Never' Finishes Robust Run. NBC dominates the final Tuesday of summer. Summer's final Tuesday belonged to particularly strong NBC, which saw America's Got Talent approach highs with part one of the finale and Better Late Than Never wrap its impressive run with the slightest of upticks. America's Got Talent, posting its most-watched episode in five years with 13.7 million viewers, rose to a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49. That number is about as good as it gets in terms of summer programming, helping finish an especially strong season for the veteran reality franchise. Whether it was the addition of Simon Cowell, or the lack of plentiful broadcast alternatives, Talent topped the summer. Better Late Than Never, which held a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 for its entire run, popped slightly in the finale. It nabbed a 1.7 rating in the key demo. CBS offered the night's only original counter-programming -- a steady episode of Big Brother. It brought a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49. (Hollywood Reporter)

Burke Ramsey addressed the persistent theory that his late mom, Patsy Ramsey, killed his sister, JonBenet Ramsey, back in 1996, during the second installment of his interview with Dr. Phil McGraw, which aired on Tuesday, September 13. "It doesn't make sense," Burke, 29, told McGraw. "Not to say she never got upset, but nothing near laying a finger on us, let alone killing her child." He added that his mom never even spanked them. "Nothing of the sort," he said. "Not even close." Burke was just 9 when JonBenet, then 6, was found murdered in the basement of the family's house in Boulder, Colorado, on December 26, 1996. The young beauty queen had a cord around her neck and duct tape over her mouth. Autopsy results revealed that she was struck in the head and strangled to death. Hours before her body was found, Patsy found a ransom note that demanded $118,000 in exchange for JonBenet's return. It's been nearly 20 years since JonBenet's murder, and the case remains unsolved. For a long time, Patsy, who died at the age of 49 in 2006 from ovarian cancer, and her husband, John Ramsey, were suspects in the case. DNA results officially cleared them in 2008. Burke has remained out of the spotlight for most of his life -- until now. Speaking to Dr. Phil about why he decided to finally break his silence, he said, "As to why I'm doing it now, it's the 20th anniversary and apparently still a lot of attention around it, and I guess I kind of wanted to make it about remembering her and not just another news story." "For a long time, the media basically made our lives crazy. It's hard to miss the cameras and news trucks in your front yard, and we'd go to the supermarket sometimes and there'd be a tabloid with my picture, JonBenet's picture, plastered on the front, or they would follow us around," he added. "Seeing that as a little kid is just kind of a chaotic nightmare, so I was pretty skeptical of any sort of media, like, it just made me a very private person." The third and final installment of Dr. Phil's interview with Burke airs on Monday, September 19. (US Weekly)

ABC Boss Admits He Botched Michael Strahan's Live! Exit. There's no denying it: Michael Strahan's exit from Live! With Kelly and Michael was quite dramatic, to say the least. In fact, it led Kelly Ripa to boycotting her own show for a little while and even resulted in some pretty awkward on-camera moments between the two. Though Strahan has officially settled into his new role on Good Morning America this month and Ripa is actively and excitedly looking for a new co-host, the exit is still cringe-worthy -- especially for President of the Disney/ABC Television Group, Ben Sherwood. The ABC boss sat down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and was open in admitting there were "mistakes" made during Strahan's exit. "I have most definitely thought about it, and I think that enough has been said about it," he laughed. "We made some mistakes, we fixed them quickly and we moved on." In fact, he said he visited Ripa on the show recently and things felt positive. "I was on the set of Live recently," he continued. "The show is in great shape, Kelly is in a great place, the hunt for a new co-host is underway, the excitement is building, and I believe the future of that show is bright." Meanwhile, just last week, Live! teased the show might be closer to finally finding a replacement for Strahan. But unfortunately, that's exactly all it ended up being: a tease. After a summer full of guest hosts, Ripa declared there was a "big announcement" about to take place during the first week of the show's new season (during the first week of September). We immediately assumed one of the repeat trial co-hosts -- like Anderson Cooper or Jerry O'Connell -- was about to take over the coveted seat. However, just as we feared, the announcement was too good to be true. Instead, toward the end of Wednesday's segment last week, Ripa revealed that the show is going to open its doors to a lucky fan who will be able to try their hand at hosting for the day. "Now you have the chance to prove it," Ripa said in response to claims that her job is easy. Daytime talk show hopefuls have until Sept. 20 to apply online for the spot. (Eonline)
