Ramps at Recker Road and the Red Mountain Freeway (Loop 202) to close for part of Saturday’s Phoenix Marathon

Consider alternate routes through Mesa
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use Recker Road at the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time on Saturday, Feb. 25, while the Phoenix Marathon is underway.
The ramps connecting the Red Mountain Freeway and Recker Road will be closed as part of the marathon route. Traffic control markers will be in the area from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead to determine a best alternate route to their destination.
