Amanda Seyfried Is Married! Pregnant Actress Secretly Elopes With Thomas Sadoski. Not only is Amanda Seyfried a mom-to-be, she's also a Mrs.! The actress married her fiance Thomas Sadoski in a secret ceremony that they kept completely under wraps until now. Back in September, E! News confirmed the 30-year-old actress and her The Last Word co-star were set to wed after less than a year of dating. Shortly after news of the couple's engagement broke, Amanda stepped out wearing a minimalist, albeit sophisticated, gold band on her ring finger. Seyfried and Sadoski first met when they were working together on the off-Broadway show The Way We Get By in mid-2015, but their relationship didn't take a turn for the romantic until they reunited on the set of their forthcoming drama. "We eloped," Sadoski announced on The Late Late Show Thursday, showing off his wedding band. The ceremony took place March 12. "We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing... We had a great day. It was perfect." The actors wrote their own vows and Seyfried's dog, Finn, was in attendance. "Listen, she's the person I love, admire, respect most in the world." Sadoski then joked with host James Corden, "I know you guys are close friends, and I know that she would want you to know, so don't tell anyone." Asked to describe the intimate ceremony, Sadoski said, "It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other." After exchanging vows, he added, "You take the dog and you walk through the country and you go home, and you have your life." "We went out to dinner. It was awesome," Sadoski said. "We had a great day. It was perfect." The I Smile Back actor also confessed he's "not at all" ready to become a father soon. "How can you be?" Sadoski asked Corden and fellow guest Vanessa Hudgens. "I'm more excited about this than I've ever been about anything in my whole life, but I'm also more terrified about it than anything I've ever been in my entire life. If I'm too confident, then I'm just kidding myself." Amanda previously dated Justin Long for approximately two years before going their separate ways in September 2015. As for Thomas, 40, he was married to casting director Kimberly Price for eight years before ultimately splitting just over a year ago. The lovebirds have remained notoriously tight-lipped about their relationship, but judging from the Ted 2 star's past interviews on romance, Amanda and Thomas' plan to keep their wedding simple and private was not totally out of character. Back in June 2015, she told E! News she had zero aspirations of a blow-out ceremony. "I got married so many times in my life -- onscreen!" she confessed, adding, "I don't want a white dress! I've worn so many of them. You know what I mean? The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment. So it's like children. That's where it's at, right? For me. But it's different for everybody." "I'd like to have one in the next four or five years," Amanda added. "And the second one can happen between 35 and 40. Or I can adopt... It's fine. I definitely want to a couple kids." Looks like she's well on her way! Congratulations, you two. (Eonline)

Marion Cotillard Gives Birth to Baby No. 2 With Partner Guillaume Canet. Marion Cotillard and partner Guillaume Canet have a very special reason to celebrate: they welcomed a baby girl! People reports that the French actress gave birth to a daughter with her boyfriend recently. No further details have been shared about the couple's little bundle of joy. This marks the second child for Cotillard and Canet, as the two are the proud parents of a 5-year-old son named Marcel. Back in September of last year, the Oscar-winning star announced that she was expecting her second child on Instagram. "Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one I need," she wrote at the time. Ever since, Cotillard has remained as private as possible about her pregnancy and home life. The new parents-of-two first began dating a decade ago after they met on the set of Love Me If You Dare Me a few years prior. And the rest, as they say, is history! Cotillard recently made headlines when she posted a slew of sexy selfies on her Instagram account from what appeared to be a day on the set of Rock'n Roll (a film directed by her boyfriend). The shots showed her face looking dramatically different, with prosthetic lips and a wig, as she kissed the camera for the world to see. Congratulations to Cotillard and Canet for their second child's arrival! (Eonline)

Mick Jones remarries ex-wife Ann Dexter-Jones at City Hall. Foreigner frontman Mick Jones has remarried his ex-wife Ann Dexter-Jones -- 32 years after they first exchanged their vows. The couple -- who divorced in 2007 after 22 years of marriage -- said their vows again at City Hall on Thursday at a casual ceremony with only a few family members present. Jewelry designer and social darling Ann sent a text to friends with a picture of herself and Mick kissing while clutching two bouquets of pink roses, along with the words, "City Hall NYC 4:00?p.m. We got married -- again." Ann told Page Six, "We've been quietly working it out. We decided second time around we would elope to the exotic location of City Hall. We never stopped loving each other." The couple first married in the Hamptons in 1985 and have two children, actress-director Annabelle and recording artist Alexander Dexter-Jones. Ann is also mother to Grammy-winning producer-artist Mark Ronson, designer Charlotte Ronson and DJ-artist Samantha Ronson -- whom Mick helped raise, earning them the title "the Royal Family of Rock." They met at a dinner party in New York after Ann and her kids moved to the city in the wake of her first marriage. Mick wrote Foreigner's 1984 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," for Ann. During their first marriage, they lived in the San Remo building, where they threw legendary parties for famous friends including Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Andy Warhol. They divorced in 2007 after "a little too much rock 'n' roll lifestyle," we're told, but Mick is now sober and sources say his sobriety is a big factor in their reconciliation. "I'm so happy to be back with my soulmate. It 'Feels Like the First Time' all over again," Mick said, name-dropping his hit song "Feels Like the First Time." A source added, "Their kids are thrilled they are back together." Mick and Anne have a lot to celebrate -- they also just became grandparents after Charlotte and Fun frontman Nate Ruess welcomed a son, Levon, this month. (PageSix)

Liam Payne on His "Dream Girl" Cheryl Cole: "We're Super Happy." Why does Liam Payne love Cheryl Cole? It's the little things. For the first time ever, the One Direction singer has opened up about his private romance with the British pop star in the U.K.'s Rollacoaster magazine. "This is the thing: In a non-cliche way, it's weird waking up every day and literally living out your dream...Obviously I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world, and she's absolutely amazing," he said, according to excerpts published in The Sun Thursday. "She's been my dream girl since I was younger. She's so ace." Payne wasn't exaggerating when he said he's been pining for Cole for years. He began dating the 33-year-old singer in 2016, though they first met when he competed on The X Factor in 2010 with his future 1D bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. The pair made their red carpet debut last year at the Global Gift Gala in Paris. Despite their 10-year age gap, the stars get each other on a personal and professional level. "She is a wonderful, wonderful person, and it's amazing to have someone who can relate to so much of things -- someone who's taken greater steps than me," Payne said of Cole, a former Girls Aloud singer. "Her solo career was amazing. She's been in the industry for 14 years now." The superstars are currently expecting their first child, though they never made an official announcement. In February, after four months of speculation, Cole let her baby bump do the talking when she proudly put it on display in an ad campaign for L'Oreal and The Prince's Trust. Asked about his dynamic with Cole, Payne explained that she "fully supports" him. "We're super happy. It's a very personal, precious time for us. I'm still learning. I'm only 23." Payne also opened up about his friendship with Justin Bieber, with whom he bonded over their "chaotic lives". According to the pop star, "He's a great guy -- inside there's a really good heart." "I said, 'Look, the difference between me and you is I had four different boys going through the same thing to look to'. He didn't have that.' I said to him, 'Take my number and any time you want a chat, let me know as I'm here and I understand exactly what you're going through and I understand your world,'" Payne revealed. "He needs somebody like that and in that position." (Eonline)

Michael Caine: 'I know my days are numbered.' Sir Michael Caine has shed two stone on a health kick and admits he fears dying of cancer. The "Get Carter" star, 84, says he wants to see his grandkids grow up. He told The Sun on Sunday: "I know my days are numbered and that's the main worry." "I've had to cut back on the drinking and I'm always looking up what's the best thing against cancer, so I'll eat that or do this or not do that." "I'll probably drop dead talking to you but you know I've lost 30 lbs. just because I want to see my grandchildren. They're twins of six and a boy of seven. I'd like to get to 17 for the boy." Oscar winner Caine, dad to Dominique and Natasha, bans all sugar, salt and gluten from meals but admits his weakness is a bacon sarnie. He has praised wife Shakira, 70, for saving him from his destructive lifestyle a decade ago. The actor said: "Without her I'd have been dead long ago." "I used to drink a bottle of vodka a day and smoke several packs of cigarettes." Caine's 163rd film, heist caper "Going In Style" is out next month. He said: "When the offers of work stop I will say I have retired." "The film business will have to give me up, not the other way around." (PageSix)

Katey Sagal reveals diet-pill, drug addiction in new memoir. Katey Sagal, four-time Golden Globe Award nominee for "Married With Children," who finally won a Globe for "Sons of Anarchy," writes in her new book, "Grace Notes: My Recollections," out Tuesday: "The magical part about winning is that, if you have a Globe award in hand, you can talk to anyone, and everyone wants to talk to you." "Sarah [her daughter] wanted to meet Colin Firth, and so we did. Dame Helen Mirren talked to me like we were old friends, even though we'd never met. Anne Hathaway chased me down and leapt into my arms, letting me know how happy she was to see me." Sagal blames growing up in Los Angeles for an attitude toward drugs that led to a 15-year addiction to diet pills, cocaine and alcohol. "When I was 12, we lived on the same block as Judy Garland. Her daughter Lorna Luft and I became neighborhood buddies. Lorna's mom had a lot of pills on her bedside table and slept past noon just like my mom. We hung tight. And, of course, I thought everyone's mom took a lot of pills." Before becoming an actress, Sagal was a singing waitress. "I could get your order wrong, spill blue cheese dressing on your lap, whisper what an a-hole you were, and then pick up my guitar or go to the piano and sing you an awesome rendition of 'Brown Eyed Girl.'" After being a backup singer for Bette Midler and Etta James, she was approached to audition for "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." Her reaction was, "Are you kidding? I'm not even looking for a job as an actor. I'm a musician!" Sagal recalled. "Apparently that approach is gold for me." (PageSix)

Blac Chyna Says She's With Rob Kardashian for the "Long Haul," Reveals They're "Fighting for Each Other." Blac Chyna is opening up about her relationship with Rob Kardashian. The Rob & Chyna star is on the cover of April's Cosmopolitan South Africa, and we have the exclusive first look at her photo spread. Inside the magazine, Chyna reveals how she and Rob went from friends to something more. "It was a shock," she admits. "I guess when you get to know somebody and you're around them, you see things in them-and you want to be more than just friends. I think that's what ended up happening." Chyna and Rob's relationship ups and downs were well documented on the first season of Rob & Chyna, but Chyna says she's "in it for the long haul" with Rob. "I feel like every person who's in a long-term relationship, or who is committed to their person, goes through ups and downs," she tells the magazine. "Everything isn't always going to be peaches and cream. If it is, then it's fake. I'm in it for the long haul, so I feel like my advice [for anyone in a similar situation] is therapy, know each other's family, calling each other's moms." She continues, "I feel like everything isn't going to be perfect, but I know we love each other and we're fighting for each other, and the people we surround ourselves with are rooting for us. It makes everything much easier." Chyna and Rob welcomed their first child together, Dream Kardashian, back in Nov. 2016. And Chyna says she helps them look at the larger picture. "And we also have Dream. So we're looking at the bigger picture. We have a whole other human being that looks up to us, so we have to makes sure she's taken care of." During her delivery, Chyna had Rob and Rob's mom Kris Jenner in the delivery room with her. "Once we made the decision to get engaged and have a baby, we became family," Chyna says. "It's a beautiful moment and it's something I'll always have, you know? We all welcomed Dream into this world: how cool is that?" So what does Chyna think about Rob as a dad? "He's a wonderful dad. I think it's because he had such a great father," Chyna says. Before Chyna and Rob got together, she was in a relationship with Tyga, with whom she shares a son, King Cairo. And Tyga is now in a relationship with Rob's sister, Kylie Jenner. "It's important to me and Tyga no to have negative energy," Chyna tells the magazine. "Kids breathe energy." She continues, "You have to learn to forgive and forget. Many people don't like to forgive others. Even if someone does something awful to you, you need to forgive them to be able to move on with your life. You can't hold on to that stuff because it'll make you a bitter person and it'll block your blessings. You need to let it go and be free." And Chyna believes that she was with Tyga for a reason, to have their son. "I really feel people are in your life for seasons or reasons, and the reason I was with Tyga was to have King. Tyga and I dated and we found something in each other, there was love there, and the outcome of that was King. I feel happy and blessed that we can co-parent: we have a healthy relationship to be better for King." And when it comes to the future, Chyna is looking forward to a great 2017. "I think it's going to be a wonderful year," she says. Cosmopolitan South Africa is on sale now. (Eonline)

Demi Lovato is awesome ... she's celebrating her 5-years of sobriety by driving around L.A. and donating thousands of dollars to various charities ... TMZ has learned. Demi delivered a $5,000 check Saturday to Kari Whitman, who runs Ace of Hearts animal rescue. She personally took the check to Kari's home and said she wanted to celebrate her sobriety by giving to worthy causes. She also said she was spending the day "giving back," so that was just her first stop. The singer had not previously been involved in Ace of Hearts, so it looks like she checked on various animal charities in L.A. and then personally executed her plan. Demi posted Thursday she was 5-years sober and counting, saying, "I'm so proud of myself but I couldn't have done it without my higher power (God), my family, friend and everyone else who supported me." Congrats! (TMZ)

Cate Blanchett proves 'fake news' wrong. Following a fake news report that Cate Blanchett was "mean" to the cast and crew of her Broadway play "The Present," the actress was seen on Thursday throwing a dinner at Balthazar for some of the actors and crew who joined her in her Broadway debut. A fellow diner said Blanchett and her husband, Andrew Upton, hosted the group and "everyone seemed in good spirits. "Cate was really nice to everyone." Star had reported that "Cate's mood swings have been driving the cast and crew crazy." (PageSix)

Mayim Bialik takes on Palestinian activist. Actress Mayim Bialik responded to Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour's claim that a person cannot be a Zionist and a feminist. "Zionism is the belief in the right of the Jewish people to have an autonomous state in Israel," Bialik, an Orthodox Jew, wrote in a post on her website GrokNation. "I am a Zionist. Feminism is the belief that a woman-driven movement can bring about race, class and gender equality and that women deserve all of the rights and privileges afforded to men. I am a feminist." Bialik continued by saying, "As a feminist Zionist, I can't believe I am being asked to choose or even defend my religious, historical and cultural identity. The 'left' needs to reexamine the microscope they use to look at Israel, and we all need to take a step back and remember we are stronger together: women, men, lovers of peace, and lovers of freedom and justice." The "Big Bang Theory" star's post was in response to Sarsour's remarks that feminism and Zionism cannot co-exist. "When you talk about feminism you're talking about the rights of all women and their families to live in dignity, peace, and security," Sarsour told The Nation. "Israel is a country that continues to occupy territories in Palestine, has people under siege at checkpoints ... There can't be ... feminism. You either stand up for the rights of all women, including Palestinians, or none." Sarsour and Bialik did not return Fox News' requests for comment. This is not the first time Bialik has defended her faith and support for Israel. She told Fox News in 2015 that she received anti-Semitic threats for a trip she made to Israel. "It really doesn't matter what I support or believe, the fact that I'm Jewish and go there is enough -- that should be alarming to most people." While the threats she received were from fans, Bialik said at the time that the entertainment industry isn't friendly to people of faith either. "I think in general it's never going to be trendy to be observant or religious in Hollywood circles," she said candidly. "There are people I know of faith and we tend to congregate together. I study Jewish texts weekly. That's something really positive to me when you're a person of faith, it stays with you all the time." (PageSix)

Sad news for Brian Banks -- the football player who was famously wrongly convicted of rape is divorcing his wife less than 2 years after they tied the knot. Banks made headlines for battling his way into Atlanta Falcons training camp in 2013 after spending 5 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. His story is reportedly in the works to become a big Hollywood movie. Banks married Emanuela Marinova in May 2015 -- but things have apparently fizzled ... both sides have filed for divorce. No kids. No major community property. No word on why they split. (TMZ)

Selena Gomez wants to be the only Selena Gomez in entertainment ... period. Selena has filed legal docs asking for the right to market jewelry ... which we get. But the docs go on ... she wants to make sure no one can do a live TV or movie appearance or distribute music with the name Selena Gomez. She also wants a lock on Selena Gomez "fan club services," although we assume that doesn't mean people can't start a Selena Gomez fan club ... just not on behalf of a different Selena Gomez. So, all you Selena Gomez wannabees ... don't even think about it. (TMZ)

Kat Graham got way too high and ended up in the hospital ... TMZ has learned. "The Vampire Diaries" actress and singer was visiting Two Bunch Palms Resort & Spa near Palm Springs last month when she allegedly started throwing up and passed out on a lawn. It wasn't food or booze that put her there though -- sources at the resort tell us she'd downed a cannabis brownie earlier in the day. We're told Kat ran out of the resort's restaurant saying she didn't feel well and needed to go to the hospital. She puked, passed out, woke up and then hopped an ambulance to a hospital. The resort's report said she was extremely paranoid, anxious and seeing things. Some people call that a really good trip ... not so much for Kat. We reached out to her people, but no word back. (TMZ)

Jaime Pressly is the latest celeb burglary victim ... just days after Kendall Jenner got hit, Jamie had her jewelry stolen, too. Law enforcement sources tell us they got a call late Friday night from Pressly, who told them someone broke into her Sherman Oaks home. Pressly said she went out for the evening, and when she returned she quickly realized someone had been up to no good. We're told the burglar got in through a side window that was forced open. The crook made off with jewelry and a laptop. TMZ broke the story ... Kendall's Hollywood Hills home was hit Wednesday in what looks like an inside job. The thief stole more than $200k in jewelry. Burglars have hit a bunch of celebs this year, including Yasiel Puig, Derek Fischer, Alanis Morissette, and Cesar Milan. Just like Kendall ... no suspects in Pressly's case so far. (TMZ)

Kendall Jenner fired her security guard one day after she was robbed blind in her own home. Our Kardashian sources say the guard was posted outside the house, which raises the question ... why fire him if it was an inside job and the thief was almost certainly a partygoer who made his or her way into Kendall's bedroom and stole $200k in jewelry? It appears the fam is upset because when Kendall left for an hour around midnight, someone who was not an invited guest got inside the house. You'll recall, Kim's longtime bodyguard, Pascal, was given his walking papers after the Paris robbery, because he left the apartment with Kourtney and Kendall shortly before the invasion. We're told there are surveillance cameras in and around the house, and cops are hopeful it will give them a hot lead. We're also told the items stolen include a Rolex and a Cartier watch. (TMZ)

Rudy Youngblood -- best known for playing Jaguar Paw in "Apocalypto" -- was arrested for being drunk and obnoxious in a Miami casino. According to the police report ... the actor reeked of alcohol and was slurring when cops responded to a call from security at the poker room at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. Youngblood was allegedly verbally abusive and threatening to other poker room patrons ... which means he probably spoke a lot more than Jaguar Paw ever did. He was booked in January and charged with disorderly intoxication, but law enforcement sources tell us the charge was later dropped. (TMZ)

Artie Lange arrested for cocaine and heroin possession. Comedian Artie Lange -- a former Howard Stern sidekick who has battled drug addiction in the past -- was busted for possession of heroin and cocaine near his Hoboken home, police said Friday. The 49-year-old funnyman was arrested Sunday in the parking garage of his building at 14th Street and Shipyard Lane, according to the Hoboken Police Department. "Hey guys. I was arrested. I'm doing great. Physically too!" Lange tweeted Friday. "I'm such a flawed person guys. Tryin!" He added, "FYI The Hoboken Cops treated me so great. Great people. Professional. I thank them for that Now a lawyer tells me what to do!" Police were first called to the garage after someone complained that a man was trying to break into a car, police said. Cops searched Lange and found several bags of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia on him and in his car, according to police. Lange has spoken publicly about his drug use. In 2009, he was arrested for driving under the influence after he crashed his car into another car in Toms River. He pleaded guilty and later said he had been taking prescription pills. A year later, he was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt. He recently appeared on the Judd Apatow-directed HBO show "Crashing," in which he plays a comedian trying to make it in the New York stand-up comedy scene. (PageSix)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Kate Middleton and Prince William Look More in Love Than Ever During Paris Trip. Ah, c'est l'amour! Kate Middleton and husband Prince William looked more in love than ever as they took in the sights of Paris during the couple's first official visit to the French capital. Their visit comes days after the prince drew embarrassment for the Royal family after skipping an event at home in favor of a boys' ski trip and being caught on video "dad-dancing" near several woman at a Swiss nightclub. He and his family members have not commented. A source said his wife was "disappointed" with his behavior. The two began their trip to Paris Friday and there have been no visible signs of any trouble in paradise. Following an event-packed day, the two went sightseeing Saturday and appeared to be smitten with each other. They looked cozy at Musee d'Orsay, where they were photographed looking through its famous giant clock, and were all smiles as they visited the Eiffel Tower, where they met fans and members of a rugby team. The two played ball with some schoolchildren and chatted with their parents. "Kate was interested in my daughter's toy monkey she was holding and said that [their son Prince] George had a toy rabbit called Bum Bum," one mother told the Press Association. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a multi-color, 3/4-bell sleeve tweed fit and flare belted Chanel blazer dress, paired with black pumps. A body language expert had told E! News Friday that she saw "no sign of a problem" between the two. The previous day, William and Kate, wearing a custom double-breasted emerald green Catherine Walker dress coat, met with French Prince Minister Francois Hollande. She later changed into a black tweed Alexander McQueen gown, paired with ankle strap pumps and pearl jewelry, as the two attended a reception at the British Embassy. Kate then changed her look again, this time opting for a custom-made ice blue Jenny Packham dress, and joined William at a dinner hosted by British Ambassador Edward Llewellyn. William's mother Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris at age 36 in 1997. Ten years later, he and brother Prince Harry returned to the city for an unofficial trip to watch the Rugby World Cup final. William said at the British Embassy Friday that before he and Kate arrived in Paris, his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II reminded him of how much she has enjoyed her many visits to France. "It is a feeling that Catherine and I entirely share, and look forward to this and many more visits in the years to come -- to France our ally, our friend, our neighbor," he said. (Eonline)

Prince William's Reaction to Hearing "Happy" Again Days After Dancing to Song During Ski Trip. Clap along if you sense a little bit of irony in Prince William's life right about now. As the Duke of Cambridge continued his trip to Paris Friday evening, the royal family member headed to a dinner at the British embassy. While enjoying a meal, the father-of-two was treated to a performance of Pharrell Williams' "Happy" by a group of children from Kids United. Sounds like a lovely moment, right? As it turns out, that's the same song that Prince William was caught dancing to during his headline-making ski trip with the boys. During his getaway to Switzerland with longtime friends Guy Pelly, Tom van Straubenzee and James Meade, Prince William was spotted partying well into the night and dancing near a few ladies. While a source shared with E! News that Kate Middleton was "disappointed" in her husband's behavior, this will certainly not break the couple apart in any significant way. The trip also caused Prince William to miss Monday's Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey that serves as Britain's largest interfaith gathering attended by many members of the royal family. Ultimately, Prince William is moving forward and focused on his trip to Paris that features Kate by his side. It marks the first time the future king has made an official visit to the city since Princess Diana's passing. During day one, the couple honored soldiers from the Irish Guards on St. Patrick's Day. After a parade of the Irish Guards, the royal pair knocked back pints of Guinness to celebrate the holiday. Their visit will also include meet-and-greets with outgoing President François Hollande, as well as soccer player Robert Pires and actors Jean Reno, Kristin Scott-Thomas and Audrey Tautou. (Eonline)

Tim Allen compares Hollywood to Nazi Germany. Tim Allen says that living in Hollywood right now is akin to Nazi Germany. The comedian made the claim while appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." "You gotta be real careful around here," Allen noted. "You get beat up if you don't believe what everybody else believes. This is like '30s Germany." Allen, 63, plays an outspoken conservative on the sitcom "Last Man Standing" and is one of the few actors in Hollywood to profess having right-wing leanings. When Kimmel asked him about attending the inauguration ceremony the "Home Improvement" star's eyes bulged and he stammered: "I was invited, we did a VIP thing for the vets, and went to a veterans ball, so I went to go see Democrats and Republicans." "Yeah I went to the inauguration," he added. (PageSix)

Tom Wolfe claims millennials are wasting time on social media. Tom Wolfe -- the visionary author of "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test," "The Right Stuff" and "The Bonfire of the Vanities" -- says millennials are wasting their time on social media instead of reading. "So much of what we consume today in communication is really very much like knitting used to be for women," Wolfe, 86, told the crowd at Doubles on Thursday night at the annual Writing Center at Hunter College dinner. "It's a time killer." Nodding in agreement were Gay Talese, Liz Smith, Enid Nemy, Daphne Merkin, Meg Wolitzer, double helix discoverer James Watson and painter Everett Raymond Kinstler, who has three portraits hanging in the White House. Wolfe, in his trademark white suit, said Marshall McLuhan noted in 1968 that the baby boomers were the first generation to be brought up on television. Today's millennials have far more distractions with YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. "They no longer read. Their minds have changed. They will only believe what the next person says to them in the ear," Wolfe said. "They are people who are ripe for whispering." Wolfe said when he came to New York to write for the Herald Tribune, there were seven daily newspapers: "I wouldn't write print off yet, but it's in trouble." Noting that the average print newspaper reader is 59 years old, and that "everyone else is getting their news on the Internet," Wolfe said, "When I go out to buy a newspaper, I always go out at night so no one can see me doing it." Some guests had noticed that a list of Wolfe's books on a giant cake made for the occasion erroneously listed "Look Homeward, Angel" by Thomas Wolfe. Writing Center director Lewis Frumkes quipped, "We wanted to see who was alert, and who was not." (Eonline)

Floyd Mayweather's ex-personal chef -- the woman who famously said she was paid $1,000 a plate -- is no longer part of Floyd's crew ... and says the fact she's gay may have played a role. We spoke with Chef Q who is now backtracking on her $1,000 a plate claims ... saying there was no REAL set rate for her. Sometimes she would get paid fat. Sometimes nothing. But sometime after the Manny Pacquiao fight, Chef Q says her relationship with Floyd fell apart and she doesn't really know why ... but she has her theories. "I don't think he's ever looked at me past as just a gay person or a lesbian." Chef Q says some comments that were made during her time with TMT were hurtful and felt homophobic. Still, Chef Q says she wants to have a relationship with Floyd moving forward -- she considers him family ... but knows they have to work out their issues. We reached out to Floyd's camp. So far, no word back. (TMZ)

Bob Baffert says American Pharoah, the horse that won the Triple Crown, is getting more action than just about any person or animal that walks the earth! We got Bob leaving Craig's Friday night and he bragged A.P. has knocked up hundreds of mares so far, and God will the number will grow to 1,000. Pharoah is in such high demand he's being shipped to different continents for a little sex. (TMZ)

The White House intruder who jumped a fence, lingered on the grounds, hid behind a pillar and even tried a doorknob had gone right up to the Secret Service hours before and declared his desire to get inside the President's home ... TMZ has learned. Sources who have been fully briefed tell us, at around 6 PM on March 10th, Jonathan Tuan-Anh went to a security gate at the White House and told Secret Service agents he wanted to get inside. He was turned away but returned and achieved his goal just after 11 PM. Some members of Congress are outraged, one telling us it's beyond comprehension the intruder was not on the radar of the Secret Service when he jumped the fence. The member notes it was a cold evening ... and after coming face-to-face with Secret Service he showed up again and no one noticed. We're told the intruder may have actually hung around 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. during the evening, before jumping 2 fences and going undetected for nearly 20 minutes. The Secret Service says Tuan-Anh was there for 16 minutes, but we're told it was several minutes longer. President Trump was in the White House at the time of the intrusion, yet we're told he wasn't told the intrusion was the result of a massive screw-up. The next day Trump actually praised the Secret Service, in the dark as to what actually went down. The intruder was carrying mace when he was finally apprehended. (TMZ)

Adele Continues Romantic Tradition of Having Couples Get Engaged on Her Stage. Adele concerts are apparently the places to get engaged. The British singer invited two members of her audience up onstage at her show in Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia Sunday as a consolation prize after forgetting to place signed letters under some arena seats, as she has done in the past. She picked a man named Chris, who she had seen burst into tears as she performed her hit ballad "Hello," and his partner Wade, The Herald Sun reported. After they stepped up to join her, Wade gone down on one knee and proposed to Chris, who said yes, drawing cheers, the newspaper said. The singer then had him repeat his answer and hugged them both. "That wasn't planned, I had no idea," Adele said. Several proposals took place during her concerts in 2016. In Denmark, two Swedish men got engaged on her stage. "Should I be your surrogate if you have children? I'd love to have a baby with someone Swedish," she reportedly joked. Two months prior, a man and a woman, who share a child, got engaged at one of Adele's London concerts while standing in the crowd as she sang "Make You Feel My Love." "Come up here you two," she said mid-song. "Are they coming? Did you just get engaged? Oh god! I thought there was a fight at first." She then invited the couple onstage and they told her "Make You Feel My Love" was their special song. "That was one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed at one of my shows," Adele said about the man's proposal. "Thank you so much for doing that." Also in 2016, at a show in Belfast, Adele coaxed a female concertgoer to repeat her recent proposal to her boyfriend, who had initially given a vague answer. "You have to say a proper yes, bruv!" Adele responded, and he complied. Wedding proposals were also made during the singer's concerts in Zurich and Barcelona. (Eonline)

'Hello, Dolly!' slammed as 'breath of stale air' in previews. Bette Midler is terrific in "Hello, Dolly!" but some Broadway regulars are underwhelmed. "It is not a great show -- one wonderful number, the rest sort of a breath of stale air," one theatergoer said after a preview. As for David Hyde Pierce: "Fabulous, but he needs to work on his New Yawk accent. It was all over the place!" said another. Still, it will be huge hit. The standing ovation for Midler's first entrance went on so long, producer Scott Rudin and director Jerry Zaks were "plotzing and high-fiving each other," according to one witness. "Scott then put his hands on either side of his head in disbelief and joy. It was very cute, and I bet no one has ever put 'Scott Rudin' and 'cute' in the same sentence." When the curtain came down, after taking numerous bows and traipsing around the front of the stage to wild applause, Midler lay on her back on the floor feigning exhaustion, as if to say, "Go home!" Adrian Grenier repped band at SXSW. Adrian Grenier famously had Jeremy Piven as his rep Ari Gold on "Entourage" -- but at SXSW, Grenier played the role of manager to the band he looks after, the Skins. The group played Maggie Mae's on Thursday at the Austin, Texas, music fest. (Other intriguingly named acts rocking the venue this year include Cilantro Boombox, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and No Brain.) Grenier and the Skins also jumped aboard Aloft Hotels' RVIP karaoke party bus, and the group covered R. Kelly's "Ignition." (PageSix)

Drake's 'More Life' Project Will Not Be an Apple Music Exclusive: Report. The "playlist" is expected to be released widely across streaming services on Saturday. Drake's new More Life project is expected to drop Saturday and, it turns out, it won't be exclusive to Apple Music. The hip-hop superstar has been closely tied with the streaming service since its launch in 2015, with a deal manifesting in two exclusive album releases, exclusive music videos and a short film, TV ads, tour sponsorship and more. But now, it seems More Life will buck that trend. Pitchfork reports a source at Amazon has confirmed that the "playlist" will be available on their streaming service at the same time as Apple Music. On Thursday (March 16) Spotify suggested the same when it tweeted the project's trailer with the caption "coming soon." There are a few possible theories why Drake would go wide with his More Life release. Drake's record label OVO is distributed through Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, whose chairman/CEO Lucian Grainge decreed an end to streaming exclusives following Frank Ocean's coup last year. This could have prohibited an Apple Music-only release. But reports at the time said that ban would not include previously negotiated deals, which Drake's with Apple most likely would have been. More probably, this could be a reflection of the industry's general trend moving away from exclusives, as well as an indication of what More Life will hold. The project is being teased as a playlist, which likely means it will be somewhat of an OVO label compilation and not a straight-up Drake album. And while Drake on his own certainly has enough power to make people sign up for a service just to hear his album, the broader acts on his label do still not -- meaning he'd want it heard by as many people as possible, regardless of his streaming allegiances. The Kinks' Ray Davies Knighted by Prince Charles. Arise, Sir Ray Davies. The veteran Kinks frontman, who formed the legendary British rock band with his brother Dave in the early 1960s, has been knighted in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Davies made the Queen's 2017 New Year Honors list and on Thursday (March 16) received his knighthood for services to the arts, with the Prince of Wales doing the honors. The 72-year-old rocker and songsmith made light of his special moment and shared a picture for posterity. "It lasted three minutes and it went very well," he told the Daily Mail. "And I said goodbye and went home." Through a career spanning more than 50 years, Davies has accumulated a wealth of songwriting credits to his name, including Kinks classics "You Really Got Me," "All Day and All of the Night," "Waterloo Sunset," "Sunny Afternoon" and "Lola." His works have been covered by the likes of David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Jackson Browne and Van Halen. Davies' knighthood is the latest in a long list of achievements which also include induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame (in 1990 with the Kinks), the Ivor Novello award for outstanding contribution to British music and the prestigious BMI Icon award. Davies was appointed Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by the Queen back in 2004. Last December, Ray and Dave Davies performed on stage together for the first time in 20 years, sparking rumors that the Kinks might reunite. Never say never. In an interview with Billboard in 2015, Ray didn't dismiss the idea. "It really depends," he said on talk of a reunion. "This is always my answer: If we make it relevant to new music. Not saying we need a new album, but it's got to relate to new music." Davies is hard at work readying the April release of Americana, his first album in nearly a decade. The LP is scheduled to arrive April 21 via Legacy Recordings and is the first of two volumes due out this year. (Billboard)

Depeche Mode Strut Revolutionary 'Spirit' on New Album. In these strange, uncertain times, trust the creatives to ask the tough questions. Depeche Mode's latest album Spirit, which dropped overnight, does just that as the veteran British band explores the zeitgeist. It's a journey into the dark places. From the opening bars of "Going Backwards," frontman Dave Gahan lets us all know what's on DM's collective mind. "We are not there yet, we have not evolved/We have no respect, we have lost control/We're going backwards, ignoring the realities/Going backwards, are you counting up the casualties," he sings. Gahan and co. go deeper still. Next up: "Where's the Revolution," in which Gahan unloads, "You've been kept down, you've been pushed 'round/You've been lied to, you've been fed truths/Who's making your decisions, you or your religion/Your government your countries, you patriotic junkies." With Spirit (which spans 17 track on the "deluxe" edition), Depeche Mode's career runs 14 albums deep, with more than 100 million records sold. Produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco (Foals, Florence & The Machine, Arctic Monkeys), the new LP is the follow-up to 2013's Delta Machine, which bowed at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and marked a new era with Columbia after a 30-year career with Warner Music labels Sire and Reprise and EMI's Mute and Capitol. The band, comprised of Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher, has also plotted the Global Spirit Tour, an international trek that is slated to kick off on May 5 with a show at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Emma Watson's Salary for Beauty and the Beast Revealed (But There's a Catch). The live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast is already making waves at the box office and it's barely been in theaters for a full 24 hours. According to early predictions, the highly anticipated flick has earned an impressive $60 million as of Friday afternoon and the movie is expected to garner upwards of $140 million by Sunday evening. As the bucks roll in, and fans rush to theaters to get a glimpse of the Disney classic on the big screens once again, a question presents itself -- how much did Emma Watson earn for starring in the titular role? Well, per The Hollywood Reporter, the 26-year-old signed a deal to earn a back-end deal depending on how well the movie does. Ultimately, the outlet claims that she could stand to make around $15 million if the movie makes $750 million globally. Now those are some pretty high stakes! The Disney flick pales in comparison to Emma's Harry Potter earnings which totaled $60 million. The salaries of Emma's male co-stars, Dan Stevens, Josh Gad and Luke Evans have yet to be revealed. Back in 2014, Angelina Jolie reportedly took home $15 million upfront for her role in Maleficent as well as brokered a deal for potential backend earnings. Details about the latter have not been specified. Last year, in an interview with Esquire U.K., Emma vented her frustrations over the gender wage gap. "We are not supposed to talk about money because people will think you're 'difficult' or a 'diva.' But there's a willingness now to be like, 'Fine, call me a diva, call me a feminazi, call me difficult, call me a First World Feminist, call me whatever you want, it's not going to stop be from trying to do the right thing.'" You go girl. (Eonline)

Working Title, Stephen Daldry Reteam for Story of Syrian Refugee-Turned-Olympian. Yusra Mardini made headlines when she swam for three hours across the Aegean to save her boat of refugees, later becoming a competitor at the 2016 Olympic games. Working Title and director Stephen Daldry, who worked together to great acclaim on Billy Elliot and Trash, are to reteam for a third time. The production powerhouse has picked up the rights to the true life story of Syrian Olympic swimmer Yusra Mardini, who made headlines when, together with her sister, she swam for three hours across the Aegean sea when her boat filled with other refugees began to sink. After making the perilous journey and saving the occupants, she settled in Berlin, meeting a local swimming coach. As a competitor in the first Team Refugee group at the 2016 Olympics, Mardini won her qualifying heat, and has since become an ambassador for refugees and met with world leaders, also giving speeches at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Daldry will direct the feature adaptation, with Working Title Films' co-chairmen Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner producing alongside Ali Jaafar. "It's rare to find a story whose truth makes it emotionally more powerful than fiction can ever be," said Fellner. "The physical, spiritual and geographical journey that Yusra and Sara undertook is quite unbelievable. Through the power of film we feel privileged and enthused to share such an incredible and important story about how lives can be changed through dreams, ambition and desire." (Hollywood Reporter)

Meghan Markle "Ready to Be Done" With Suits and Acting as Her and Prince Harry's Romance Heats Up. Will the upcoming seventh season of Suits be Meghan Markle's last? The 35-year-old actress, who is Prince Harry's girlfriend, recently returned to Toronto to prepare to film new episodes of the USA Network series but is "ready to be done with Suits" and with "acting in general," a source told E! News exclusively Friday. "Even before Harry, she was starting to think about transitioning out of acting," the source added. "She wants to focus on other worldly endeavors she is passionate about, like her philanthropy." In January, Meghan spent a week in India on a World Vision Canada humanitarian mission to help impoverished women and girls. Kensington Palace confirmed her and Harry's relationship in November. Meghan and the 32-year-old prince have spent time together in Toronto, his native London, Norway and most recently, Jamaica, where they attended his best friend's wedding, which gave the actress a chance to get to know the prince's inner circle better. While Meghan and Harry have been photographed together, including at the wedding, they have not yet made their official public debut as a couple at an official event. Harry is currently in London and has solo engagements in the U.K. throughout the beginning of next week. Meghan remains in Toronto, where she hangs out with close friends and goes to yoga classes and restaurants when she's not filming Suits. The actress nowadays draws more paparazzi attention than ever due to her relationship with Harry. The source told E! News she's "just keeping a super low profile right now." "Meghan is the darling of Toronto," the source said. "Locals love her so much and she really engaged herself into the community when she moved here for Suits years ago. The city basically adopted her and she fit right in. She's just not as accessible now but she's always been so kind and genuinely so sweet to people around town." Meghan's co-star Patrick J. Adams weighed in on the couple's relationship in an interview with E! News' Erin Lim last month. "I'm super excited for her," he said. "As you can imagine, it is a massive deal, obviously, if you hadn't noticed. I didn't wanna get involved. I just wanted to say, 'I love you, I support you, I hope you're happy. You seem really happy' and if she ever needed anybody to talk to in the madness -- 'cause it is madness, it's madness what the world puts somebody through when they're going through this process." "But if there's anyone in the world who is designed to be able to deal with it and deal with it professionally, it's Meghan Markle," he added. (Eonline)

Bones' Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz and Co. Bid an Emotional Farewell With Series Finale Retrospective. It's the end of an era for Fox as Bones does its victory lap ahead of the last episode of the 12-season series. The emotions are running high, to say the least. To celebrate the Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz series, Fox assembled the cast and crew for a 20-minute retrospective onset of the series -- but be warned: the video was shot in December 2016 as sets were already beginning to be dismantled. "I think it's the end of a village. It feels like you go back to a village and it's just gone," series creator Hart Hanson said. The cast and crew take you on a trip back in time to various sets and tools used by Booth, Brennan and co. over the years -- even the disastrous ones. It's a true walk down memory lane with revelations and never before seen footage. Did you know Bones went from that title to Brennan to things like Skeleton Crew and "everything to do with skeletons, and bones," Hanson said. It wasn't until he added a line about Brennan's nickname being Bones that the title became acceptable to the powers that be. Looking back at the first episode and when viewers first see Booth and Brennan together, Hanson said he made a promise to Deschanel after Booth recuses Brennan. "I felt I'd go to Emily say, I promise that he won't be recusing you all the time," Hanson said. "For every time he rescues you, you will rescue him." The video features a look at the show's dynamic fanbase, which has stood by the show for 12 seasons. "They just never gave up on the show, and that is the only reason why we are still on the air," T. J. Thyne said. But all things must come to an end. "It feels strange," Deschanel said. "But I feel good," Boreanaz said. "It's been weird not to go back to work, in a way, but it hasn't really hit me yet," she said. Be sure to watch the video for more Bones secrets, like how the producers got the test audiences on Booth's side after they originally didn't like the character. The series finale of Bones airs Tuesday, March 28 at 9 p.m. on Fox. (Eonline)

Tyra Banks Is Returning to Host America's Next Top Model. When Tyra Banks comes back, she really comes back. Just a few days after the announcement that she'll be taking over for Nick Cannon as the host of America's Got Talent, VH1 revealed that Tyra Banks will also be returning to her throne at the head of America's Next Top Model. The model/actress/host/entrepreneur extraordinaire had taken a backseat for VH1's reboot of her beloved reality series to be behind the camera as an executive producer instead of in front of it after 22 cycles. Rita Ora took over as host for one season (which ended on March 8), but as Tyra said in a tweet, she missed her ANTM baby. "I'm overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart," Banks said in a statement. "After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn't enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA." Banks' fellow executive producer Ken Mok also released a statement, thanking Ora for all her hard work. "Tyra has always been the heart and soul of the franchise and her absence was deeply felt by our fiercely loyal fans who missed their Queen of the Smize. We'd like to thank Rita Ora for being a great partner and total pro. She infused this new iteration of ANTM with passion and creativity and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors." This may be a bummer for fans of Ora, but at least they still have her movie career. Cycle 24 of America's Next Top Model will begin this summer on VH1. (Eonline)

Here's Your First Look at Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay's Premiere Episode. We've met some of the guys Rachel Lindsay will (hopefully) be finding love with. And hold on to your roses Bachelor Nation, because the first look at the new Bachelorette's season premiere dress is here. The show's producer, Mike Fleiss, live-tweeted night one of filming Thursday evening and there were lights, cameras, limos and even some "cheesecake and beefcake." In one of Fleiss' photos, Lindsay wore a sleeveless white patterned gown for what appears to be her first meeting with the gentlemen at the doorway of the 7,500-square-foot Bachelor mansion in Agoura Hills, California. Also in the photo with the 31-year-old Dallas attorney was host Chris Harrison. Lindsay, who did not receive the final rose from leading man Nick Viall, previously told PEOPLE about her one outstanding style dilemma for the first night of her season: dress or tuxedo for arrival night. "I'm so not traditional," she said. "I prefer to not wear a dress and wear a tuxedo. But I'm going to have to wear a dress. It's traditional. But if I wore a tuxedo, no shirt underneath, just sexy and classy -- if you see me in a typical dress, know I'm wearing that tux in spirit." In February, Lindsay exclusively told PEOPLE that she's "at a stage in life where I'm ready for a family, I'm ready to get married." Adding, "I want a guy who is not afraid of that. I've come across that in my past." The Bachelorette premieres May 22 on ABC. (People)

Rosie Perez admits her latest role as a "bounty hunter chasing former Nazis" is not a natural fit. "It is a comedy," says the New Yorker of the British series "Bounty Hunters" for Sky 1. "I can't really relate to the character too much. I am from Brooklyn, so shooting a gun is not my expertise. I was trying to work out for the role, but it is not really going too well, so I have to lean on my acting skills," she quipped at an Urban Arts Partnership gala at Cipriani Wall Street. Closer to home, Perez has just been cast in NBC pilot "Drama High." (Page Six)

And the new host of Blind Date is going to be... It was one of Cilla's closest friends. It's hard to think of anyone else presenting Blind Date other than the late Cilla Black but Paul O'Grady has been announced as the presenter of the new series. A natural successor, Paul and Cilla were close friends for years. He delivered her eulogy after she passed away in August 2015. Talking of his new role, the 61-year-old said: "Blind Date is an incredibly special family show which brought laughter, tears and joy to TV viewers." "I am honored to present the brand new series and after speaking to Channel 5, I know the series is in safe hands. I can't wait to see if we can find love." Although it was rumored Vicky Pattinson would get the role of presenter, Channel 5 have confirmed she will still be involved in the new series. A source told The Sun: "Vicky is so excited to be working on such an iconic show as Blind Date. She knows Paul is perfect to step into Cilla's shoes. To be considered to work alongside such a legend is a dream come true for her." Cilla Black hosted the show on ITV for nearly two decades before quitting on air in 2003. Channel 5 have confirmed the new show will be "updated for the 21st Century". The official statement reads: "With no chance to swipe left, send a selfie or message back, the class of 2017 must break with modern-day dating convention and rely on their basic instincts to find the chemistry." The channel has also confirmed that LGBT couples will feature too. It's big, big shoes to fill but we reckon O'Grady will have the nation tuning in once again. We can't wait. (British Glamour)

Tyra Banks' first week on the clock as "America's Got Talent" host has been a smooth transition from Nick Cannon ... despite fears her inner diva would be out in force. Sources close to the show tell us ... TB's already building chemistry with the judges, who seem stoked to be working with her. She officially took over when taping started Monday in L.A., and we're told producers loved her over-the-top approach, which is "way different" from Nick. That's no diss -- they say it's not that it's better. It's just a change. The funny part -- we're told production assistants were warned of Tyra's rep as a diva, and told it's best to tread lightly. However, there's been none of that. So far. 1 week down. About 6 months to go. (TMZ)

'Heathers' Reboot, Alicia Silverstone Comedy Switch Networks in Viacom's Paramount Push. Both shows were developed by Keith Cox and had been slated to premiere this year on TV Land. Keith Cox is starting to formalize his Paramount Network roster of programming. TV Land's Alicia Silverstone comedy American Woman and hour-long Heathers reboot, both developed by Cox, are moving to the upstart Paramount Network, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Representatives for Paramount Network and TV Land declined comment. Paramount Network, which is being rebranded from Spike TV, will launch in January with what is expected to be a slate of programming from various Viacom-owned networks. The female-leaning American Woman is also expected to undergo pilot reshoots to add a male lead who will heavily recur. Rising Viacom star Cox added the role of Paramount Network president of development and production to his duties at TV Land in February. The new network will feature high-quality scripted and unscripted originals. American Woman marks the first sign of the type of programming that Cox and TV Land, CMT and Spike TV president Kevin Kay are looking to populate the upstart network with. Kay, in a memo to staff announcing the change last month, noted that the network would feature dramas, comedies, documentaries, movies, sports and tentpole events as well as films. It's unclear if there will be other programs to move to Paramount Network as insiders are currently evaluating content across all of Viacom's cable portfolio. American Woman is inspired by the upbringing of co-executive producer Kyle Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). The single-camera comedy is set in the 1970s amid the sexual revolution and the rise of feminism. Silverstone stars as Bonnie Nolan, a mother with two daughters (Makenna James and Lia Ryan McHugh) who finds herself facing an entirely new world after she leaves her husband. With the help of her two best friends, Kathleen (Mena Suvari) and Diana (Jennifer Bartels), these three women will each discover their own brand of independence in a world reluctant to give it. The series is written by John Riggi (30 Rock), who is executive producing the Warner Bros. Television comedy alongside John Wells (Shameless, Southland, The West Wing).American Woman was originally expected to bow in either the third or fourth quarter of 2017 but will now be pushed back to launch with the rebranded network. Heathers is an anthology based on the 1998 Christian Slater-Winona Ryder cult movie of the same name. It was scheduled to debut in the fall and was recently pulled from its planned Tribeca Film Festival debut. The series is now expected to launch in the first quarter of 2018. Heathers went through the development and pilot process as a half-hour comedy but shifted to an hour-long dramedy after the final cut clocked in at more than 40 minutes. It was slated to be TV Land's first hour-long entry as Cox had been mulling a move into drama. Heathers and American Woman become the latest series to jump networks as Viacom begins to shuffle the deck chairs across all of its brands under new CEO Bob Bakish. The exec outlined his plan to rejuvenate the media conglomerate by focusing on six key networks: MTV, Comedy Central, BET, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Paramount Network. To that end, first-run episodes of Ru Paul's Drag Race are moving from Viacom's LGBT-focused Logo to VH1 starting March 24. (Hollywood Reporter)

This New Netflix Hack Will Maximize Your Binge-Watching Potential. So, you've watched the introduction to a new show first the first time. You've heard the theme, you've seen the cool graphics and now you're ready to dive in headfirst. But then the next episode begins and you have to go through it all over again. You're over hearing Regina Spektor's "You've Got Time" before Orange Is the New Black begins, so you try to fast forward but inevitably go to far and have to rewind. It's an exhausting mission when all you're trying to do is Netflix and chill. Well, Netflix heard you and has found a solution: a skip opening credits button. The streaming service is rolling out a button that will allow viewers to skip the introductions of some TV shows. Some Twitter users pointed out this week that a "skip intro" button appeared on House of Cards, Iron Fist and Mad Men. It's unclear whether the button will appear on shows with cold opens, such as The Office. Although Netflix is still in the testing phase of the feature, people on social media already have proclaimed their love for it. "The 'skip intro' button on Netflix is so great bc after watching the 12th episode in one day you get a little tired of hearing the song," wrote one user. "Netflix finally has a Skip Intro button!!" commented another. "Whoever created the 'skip intro' button on Netflix is going places," tweeted another. Rejoice, binge-watchers, because you're well on your way to saving countless minutes on irritating songs. (Eonline)
