TOMBSTONE WILD WEST DAYS

On Saturday, March 18 and 19, the Wild West Detachment Marine Corps League and the Merchants of the City of Tombstone will be sponsoring the 8th Annual Tombstone Wild West Days, A Salute to the Men and Women of the Armed Forces.

There will be live street entertainment, a Salute to the Troops Parade, with MG Bremmer and his Wife as Parade Grand Marshals. on Saturday at 1100, a Silent Auction from 1600 to 1900 and a USO Canteen Dance Saturday starting at 1800 all at Big Nose Kates Saloon.

All activities start at 1000 and continue until closing of Big Nose Kates.

If any personal wish to Participate in the Salute to the Troops Parade all are welcome.

All net proceeds will be donated to the USO

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
