Ramps at Interstate 10 and Quartzsite Avenue closed overnight Friday, Sept. 8

Paving work on Quartzsite Avenue at Interstate 10 will require closing the east- and westbound ramps at the West Quartzsite Traffic Interchange (Exit 17) overnight Friday, Sept. 8.

Crews are scheduled to place a rubberized-asphalt sealant on all four on- and off-ramps between 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, and 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. Drivers must use Exit 19 instead.

The work is part of the $2.2 million West Quartzsite Traffic Interchange improvement project that began in April and is scheduled for completion this fall. The project includes widening the existing crossroad, extending drainage pipes, installing bridge barrier and lane striping.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov.
