Maryland Avenue closed Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Loop 101 in Glendale

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following road closure in the West Valley:

Maryland Avenue will be closed in both directions from the Loop 101 to 95th Avenue from 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28. Crews are installing new signals and overhead signage. Drivers can use Bethany Home Road or Glendale Avenue at 95th Avenue or 99th Avenue instead.

The Loop 101 HOV ramps will be open; however, the Loop 101 off-ramp turn lanes to eastbound Maryland Avenue will be closed. Loop 101 on-ramps and access to westbound Maryland Avenue west of Loop 101 will remain open.
