Utility line work will briefly stop traffic on Interstate 17 in Phoenix early Sunday
Drivers who use I-17 should plan for intermittent closures in both directions Sunday, Sept. 24, for utility work between Indian School and Camelback roads.
An overhead utility-line crossing is scheduled between 4 and 10:30 a.m. and will require up to five closures. Each closure will last 15 to 20 minutes.
The northbound Indian School Road on-ramp and the southbound Camelback Road off-ramp also will be closed when work is occurring.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
