Gwen Stefani Holds Back Tears While Thanking Blake Shelton for ''Kissing Me Back to Life'' at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards. Gwen Stefani had a huge, much-deserved evening on Monday night, and she gave her man, Blake Shelton, a big shout-out as she celebrated. The No Doubt singer was honored as 2016's Woman of the Year during the Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in Hollywood, Calif. After being introduced by James Corden, Stefani took the stage, holding back tears as she accepted the honor. "I just want to say that I was on my way here, driving, by myself in the limo, and I was like, 'What! How did this happen to me? How did I get here? How did this happen this year?'" she questioned. "I was thinking back and I was thinking about my parents, who loved me the most out of anyone, and they planted a seed within me when I was a little girl, and it was a seed of faith." She admitted it was "a year and a half" ago that she found herself heartbroken and hitting rock bottom, referencing her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. "I was in a pool of tears, and I was so disappointed, and I was so low that I didn't think there was any way I could pick myself back up," she recalled. "And I remembered God gave me that gift [of music]. I knew I was chosen to do that. So I basically started pouring my heart into music, and music has saved my life...I'm so honored to be able to share my story and exchange that love back and forth [with my fans]." She then went on to thank the most important people in her life, including her family and, of course, Shelton. "I just want to say thank you to my parents for that gift of faith," she told the audience. "I want to say thank you to everyone who ever listened to my music. I am so honored and grateful." She continued, getting choked up, "To my children, to my family, to Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much. I am blown away, I'm blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It's unbelievable to be here tonight. I am really, really grateful." (Eonline)

Anna Kendrick Discusses Fame, Being Awkward and Her Sex Life in Scrappy Little Nobody. Anna Kendrick is no stranger to life in the spotlight. From playing Bella's jealous friend Jessica in the Twilight Saga, to starring alongside George Clooney in Up in the Air and eventually launching her musical career as Becca in Pitch Perfect, the actress has spent the better part of her life growing up on screen -- and now she is ready to tell the world all about what that's like. In her new book Scrappy Little Nobody, out now, Anna talks about everything from her co-stars to dealing with reporters and even gives an insight into her plans for the future. But before the public was able to get their hands on her tell all book, Anna sat down with E! News to give an exclusive interview about how she expects people to react to her book, and what it's like to be labeled "the relatable one." "I think it's good escapism for people looking for some amusement in dark times," The Accountant star said, assuring us that there are embarrassing stories from every era of her life to keep fans laughing. As for who you can expect to read about, Anna surprisingly dished on quite a few of her co-stars. "I mention Chris Pine three times," she said. "I love him so much." And Chris isn't alone, as she also talks about working with Ben Affleck and Aubrey Plaza, as well as sharing a kiss with Orlando Bloom. "I wish 15 year old me had realized I was making out with Legolas," she joked as she talks about being careful with his face. "[I had to make sure I] didn't permanently damage the money maker." The actress also dishes on working with Zac Efron, whom she compared to Charles Manson. "I'm morbidly interested in Charles Manson," she said. "I've always wondered what is it about Manson that was so charismatic? Then I met Zac and was like, 'Oh, there it is.'" "I'm glad [Zac] hasn't asked me or anyone else to murder someone for him because I probably would," she joked. As for how she feels about her family learning about the less funny, intimate details of her real sex life, she's got that covered. "I sent my mom, my dad, and my brother copies that I put Post-It notes of where they should skip to, so that they didn't see anything that would scar their brains," she laughed. "I fully sent them special copies where I redacted certain chapters." With fans on the other hand, she's still mentally preparing for that realization to hit. "Anything that's in the book I had to be pretty at least logically OK with anyone in the world being able to see it," she said. "It's one of those things that on paper I understand but I imagine that emotionally it will be a shock over and over." And if you're worried that Anna is moving away from her comedic self and becoming super serious -- don't. Her dark sense of humor hasn't gone anywhere, which she reminded us of when asked about why she doesn't want to have kids. "Well, if I have kids, it's just another kid that your kid is going to have to fight when the water wars come," the actress said. "The zombie apocalypse is coming, and with my genes, I don't think that they're going to last." "They're just going to be food," she laughed. You can read all about Anna's life and her trials of fame in Scrappy Little Nobody, out now. (Eonline)

"Deadpool" gave Ryan Reynolds a nervous breakdown. "I felt like I was on some schooner in the middle of a white squall the whole time [promoting the movie]. It just never stopped," Reynolds, 40, said in GQ's December issue. "When it finally ended, I had a little bit of a nervous breakdown. I literally had the shakes. I went to go see a doctor because I felt like I was suffering from a neurological problem or something. And every doctor I saw said, 'You have anxiety.'" Reynolds explained that the pressure for the movie to perform well triggered his anxiety. "I say this with the caveat that I completely recognize the ridiculously fortunate position that I am in," he said. "But the attention is hard on your nervous system -- that might be why I live out in the woods. And I was banging the loudest drum for 'Deadpool.' I wasn't just trying to open it; I was trying to make a cultural phenomenon." Thankfully, he and the 2016 movie succeeded -- and now the father of two (and husband to Blake Lively) is a generally happy guy. "My baseline's pretty good, I think, aside from a few pretty intense anxiety hiccups over my life ... I'm also old enough to understand what's an illusion and what's real, and that it's foolish to try to think that I can control anything from here on out," he said. Still, don't be fooled by how Zen that sounds. "Undercut the Zen part with the same fears that everyone else has," Reynolds said. "But I wasn't a miserable f -- k before I did this for a living, and I would hope that I would never turn into one, because I'm lucky." (Page Six)

Mark Wahlberg Really Hates His Long Transformers Hair, But His Wife Loves It. Mark Wahlberg can never look bad. At least not in our eyes. But the actor is so not feeling the long hair he had to grow out for the fifth installment of the Transformers franchise. "It's very uncomfortable," Wahlberg told me at the Governors Awards. "At least now it's long enough to kind of push it back, but it's painful the hair." However, his wife Rhea Durham is digging it. "The crazy thing is my wife likes it," Wahlberg said. Their kids are another story. "They don't like it," he explained. "My wife put my hair in a ponytail the other day and my son freaked out. He was trying to rip it out of my head. He was like, 'Dad, take that thing out right now!'" And picture this -- Mark Wahlberg with a man bun! "I was hoping we would get it long enough to at least tie it up and get it off of my face," he said. "I'm not used to it at all." Transformers: The Last Night is set to be released on June 23, 2017. The Michael Bay-directed flick co-stars Josh Duhamel, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins and Tyrese Gibson. Wahlberg will next be seen in Patriots Day as a police officer during the Boston Marathon bombing. The real-life drama will have its world premiere on Thursday in Hollywood as the closing night film of AFI Fest 2016 Presented By Audi. It will be in theaters on Jan. 13. (Eonline)

Mariah Carey Receives Unsolicited Advice From James Packer's Ex On How To Get The Billionaire Back! There may be a way for Mariah Carey to get James Packer back! As you surely know, the We Belong Together singer appeared to be happily engaged to the Australian billionaire until their very explosive breakup made headlines back in October. Whomp, whomp! However, it appears this isn't the first time the businessman has been wrapped up in a messy pre-wedding split. In fact, James' former fiancee Kate Fischer just penned an open letter in New Idea for MiMi where she offered some unsolicited advice about Packer and how to gain back his affection. Miz Fischer wrote: "I'm sorry you've hit a rough patch with James. When I heard you two had parted ways, I had a real sense of deja vu. Sure, it was two decades ago that my heart was broken when James and I split, but I still remember every detail as if it were yesterday!" Is anyone else LIVING for this? Anywho, Kate continued: "My advice to you is, if you really want him back, play the game, let him make the key decisions and you may well live happily ever after?as Mariah Carey Packer." Hmm, very interesting. As you may recall, Fischer and James called it quits on their relationship in 1998 after five years of dating. Packer's former flame went onto to pinpoint the business mogul's parents and entourage as the reason their romance crumbled. Apparently, James' mother Ros "isn't the easiest woman to impress." Not to mention, Mariah's ex's late father Terry was known for being "intimidating". To make matters worse, Kate and James were never alone as the 49-year-old surrounded himself with butlers, chefs, and associates. Oh, and there was supposedly a pesky personal valet who never left his boss' side... "even in the bedroom". Eek! On her failed relationship with James, the model concluded: "In the end, for me, it all came to a head after I realized that as much as I loved James, I could never be happy being Mrs. Packer." Fair, fair. And we're not entirely sure the pop star is eager to take back her ex! Although Mariah is certainly sending mixed signals as she is still wearing her engagement ring. We'll definitely be curious to see if Mariah follows Kate's advice, but for now we're just hoping that the A-lister is taking care of herself amid this drama! (Perez Hilton)

Little Mix are known for having each other's backs and Jade Thirlwall proved just that when she was quizzed about bandmate, Jesy Nelson's relationship status during an Australian interview Monday. The 23-year-old singer and her bandmate Perrie Edwards were far from impressed when they were asked why Jesy, who has been facing speculations around her relationship with fiance Jake Roche, was no longer wearing her engagement ring. "Why isn't Jesy wearing her engagement ring in Sydney?" asked one of the two presenters from Australian radio station Nova 969. A feisty Jade was quick to bite back saying, "that's rude that!" before grabbing the presenter's question sheet, scrunching it up and throwing it away. Perrie then added: "That is brutal! Just coming out with that. Next question sir. What are you going to do without your paper now, smart ass?" Now, that's how you dodge a question... But don't worry. It wasn't all as serious as it sounds, both the girls and the interviewers managed to laugh their way of the slightly awkward encounter. (British Glamour)

The battle over Sofía Vergara's frozen embryos with ex-fiance Nick Loeb has taken a shocking turn. The actress is demanding Loeb reveal the names of two former girlfriends who underwent abortions around 20 years ago. A California judge upheld Vergara's request that Loeb, 41, name the women who terminated their pregnancies many years ago. A horrified Loeb appealed the decision, but the Court of Appeals backed Vergara. Vergara's legal team wants to quiz both women under deposition to probe into Loeb's sexual past, but he fears the women's names could become public due to the high-profile nature of the case, and the women could face intense scrutiny and shame. Loeb exclusively told Page Six that despite losing at appellate court, "I would rather go to jail than reveal the names. I believe we have to protect a woman's right to privacy." A heavily redacted petition from Loeb reads, "Not only are Plaintiff's [Loeb's] privacy rights under attack but so are the rights of third-party individuals who have nothing to do with [Loeb's] relationship with Ms. Vergara, the embryos or the litigation." It also described Vergara's move as "an attempt to harass third parties to obtain testimony." Loeb filed a lawsuit in 2015 to protect, and bring to term, the two female embryos he created with Vergara, who is now married to Joe Manganiello. Vergara and Loeb had planned to use a surrogate but did not agree what would happen if they split. Loeb, who intends to raise the children himself without any parental or financial help from Vergara, wrote in a New York Times op-ed, "When I was in my 20s, I had a girlfriend who had an abortion, and the decision was entirely out of my hands. Ever since, I have dreamed about a boy at the age he would be now." Another ex-girlfriend terminated a pregnancy when Loeb was 19. Vergara wants the embryos destroyed, and previously said, "A child needs a mother and a loving relationship with parents who don't hate each other .?.?. I wouldn't want to bring kids to the world where it's already set against them. It would be so selfish." Her rep didn't get back to us Monday night. (Page Six)

This past May, the famous father had his first art show debut in Los Angeles where he received plenty of love from those closest to him. The 58-year-old also couldn't help but praise his supportive daughters who were featured in some of the photographs. "[Ashlee and Jessica are] so professional. They're so good and they know how to work a camera," Joe gushed to E! News' Erin Lim. "They know their stuff." He continued, "Their joy makes me happy. As a father, it's not what your children do. It's who your children are and are they happy? That's the question you'll always ask." Joe is reportedly heading to Japan where he will shoot the cover of Nation-Alist magazine and work on additional campaigns. We're wishing him a healthy recovery. (Eonline)

The radio DJ accused of grabbing Taylor Swift's bare ass thinks the photo at the center of the case will only help him in court. David Mueller's legal team tells TMZ the pic "doesn't prove a thing other than he didn't have his hand underneath her skirt." As for his awkward hand placement ... we're told Mueller's explanation is he leaned into the shot at the last minute. As we previously reported, Taylor claims he "reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for a photo." Mueller's attorneys are not sure why Taylor wanted a judge to seal the photo, but now that it's out they feel it shows there was no contact and severely weakens her case. (TMZ)

Morena Baccarin is fighting her ex-husband, mosquitoes, and a ticking clock ... all to get her son to Brazil to visit her dying grandmother. The "Gotham" star's asking the court to force her ex-husband, Austin Chick, to let her take their 3-year-old, Julius, on the trip. According to docs, Morena asked Austin last month for his consent, but he refused due to new info regarding Zika. He cited the CDC, which says it doesn't know the long-term risks for kids who contract the virus. Morena has no such worries and says Julius' pediatrician agrees ... Zika is "not a concern" for Julius. She also says Austin thinks Brazil is just unsafe, which Morena says is B.S. because he never complained when the family traveled there before the divorce. She's asking the court to issue an order allowing the trip along with her partner, Ben McKenzie, and their infant daughter. (TMZ)

Ed Hartwell says the last place he belongs is behind bars ... because he's paid estranged wife Keshia Knight Pulliam every dime he was ordered to pay. TMZ broke the story ... Pulliam demanded Hartwell get locked up after claiming he never came through with mandatory support payments. However, according to new docs filed by Ed, he's paid in full. Keshia also claimed Ed missed a DNA test deadline for her unborn child -- but Ed's story's a little different -- claiming the "deadline" was something Keshia made up. He does not say whether he'll actually take the test though. In the docs, Ed's parting shot is dismissing Keshia as an attention whore -- saying she only makes accusations against him in court to get media attention. (TMZ)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Dwayne Johnson Is People's Sexiest Man Alive 2016. Move over, David Beckham! Dwayne Johnson has been named Dwayne People's Sexiest Man Alive, succeeding the British soccer player. Previous honorees include Chris Hemsworth (2014), Adam Levine (2013), Channing Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011) and Ryan Reynolds (2010), among other stars. NBC's Today announced Johnson had received the title during Tuesday's broadcast. The actor -- who voices the demigod Maui in Disney's Moana, in theaters Nov. 23 -- was flattered to receive the call. "I said, 'That's awesome.' And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is," he says. "And then I thought, 'Wow, we've pretty much reached the pinnacle.' I'm not quite too sure where we go from here. I've done it all, this is it." Johnson is expecting to get some grief from his friends over the title. "It's coming now. I can just imagine how it's going to be," the former wrestling champion says with a big laugh. "But see, here's the thing: They give me grief, but they all wish. They all wish." What makes Johnson sexy? "This is the kind of question that gets me into trouble," he jokes. In all seriousness, he says "a sense of humor" is probably the sexiest thing about himself. "And I think probably just not trying to be sexy and just being cool and confident in your movies," the Jumanji actor adds. "I think with a lot of my fans, I've gotten to a very, very cool place where there's a direct line between the man they know off-screen and the man they see on-screen." It doesn't hurt that he's good-looking, either. "It starts with the skin," he says with a laugh. "We've only got one face," Johnson, 44, adds. "You've got to take care of it. So I exfoliate." Johnson will discuss the title further Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. People's special double issue hits newsstands Friday. (Eonline)

The ill will between John Lennon and Paul McCartney was real. And a letter currently up for bid from RR Auction in Boston shows just how bad things were between the Beatles during the 1970s. Believed to date from 1971, Lennon's angry message -- which was typed out, but features hand-written annotations from the rock legend -- was in response to a critical piece of correspondence from Paul's wife at the time, Linda McCartney. Starting off on a dismissive note -- "I was reading your letter and wondering what middle aged cranky Beatle fan wrote it." -- Lennon's letter pulls no punches, especially when trashing the McCartneys' sense of the Beatles' importance. "Do you really think most of today's art came about because of the Beatles? -- I don't believe you're that insane -- Paul -- do you believe that? When you stop believing it you might wake up! Didn't we always say we were part of the movement -- not all of it? -- Of course, we changed the world -- but try and follow it through -- GET OFF YOUR GOLD DISC AND FLY!" he wrote. Lennon also took issue with Linda's criticism of his decision to not publicly announce his departure from the band in 1970, saying that her husband had persuaded him not to go to the press. "Finally, about not telling anyone that I left the Beatles -- PAUL and [Beatles manager Allen] Klein both spent the day persuading me it was better not to say anything -- asking me not to say anything because it would 'hurt the Beatles' -- and 'let's just let it petre [sic] out' -- remember?" he wrote. "So get that into your petty little perversion of a mind, Mrs. McCartney -- the c -- s asked me to keep quiet about it." While Lennon does wish the couple his love at the end of the letter, he also expressed annoyance at their decision to address the letter only to him, and not him and wife Yoko Ono. The letter, which is up for auction until Nov. 17, is expected to sell for more than $20,000. (Page Six)

We're told Kim and Kris referred Chyna to the man the Kardashian women trust with their lady bits ... and Crane was booked for the birth. (TMZ)

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are confident someone will drop $15 million ... PER BEDROOM ... to grab their secluded Malibu compound. The Gerbers just listed their 4 bedrooms, 6 bath beachfront pad. They only bought it in 2015, but put a lot of renovations into the place. Realtors Chris Cortazzo and Kurt Rappaport are manning the sale of the home, which also comes with a pool, spa, fire pit and tennis court. And yeah, for that kinda dough ... you also get breathtaking views of the Pacific and the mountains rising above it. The couple's moving back into another home they own in the area -- which was renovated while they slummed it in this place. Rande and Cindy have the golden touch. They recently sold their Cabo San Lucas vacation home, alongside BFF George Clooney's ... for $100 million. (TMZ)

Kat Von D is the new owner of the home made famous by Steve Martin in "Cheaper by the Dozen," but the place was anything but cheap. The home's located in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood which has been home to Melanie Griffith, Shonda Rhimes and Lana Del Rey ... and which also helps to explain the $6.5 million price tag. HUGE is an understatement for the 12,500 sq ft, 3-story Victorian. With 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms ... it's a TON more room than single Kat needs, but maybe she's planning to adopt 12 kids. Charlie Sheen is still a ladies' man. The HIV-positive actor showed up solo at Beautique on Thursday, but ended up leaving with a group of women. "He came in alone for a drink and then ended up meeting a bunch of people, probably around 20 people, mostly girls," said a witness. "They stayed till around 4 a.m. .?.?. then all 20 of them left together." Sheen was back the next night with a smaller entourage. He said in October that he feels "excellent," and is taking part in an FDA study of new medication. (Page Six)

Just as Glamorous as You'd Expect. After teasing it for more than a year, Mariah Carey has finally released her holiday collection with MAC Cosmetics, and the advertisements so far are everything Mimi -- glitter and sparkles and diamonds, oh my! In the photos, the singer lays on a bed of diamonds, wearing a sparkling bodysuit that shows off her beautiful curves and provides ample cleavage. She rests her chin in her manicured hand, smiling as her diamond necklace rests against her chest. In the second photo, we're given a peek at a few products from the line, which appear to include a lipstick (complete with a butterfly imprint), bronzer and eye shadow palette. All of the products maintain the same theme of silver glitter and gold. Both MAC and Mariah shared the teaser photos on Twitter. Mimi wrote, "I'm so excited to finally share my full @MACcosmetics collection coming in December! Add it to your holiday wish list #MACMariahCarey." The makeup company also added, "The elusive chanteuse & 'songbird supreme' is back! @MariahCarey brings all you'll ever want with #MACMariahCarey, coming in December." In 2015, the singer unveiled her first-ever product with the brand for the holiday season, a frothy champagne lipstick called "All I Want" (a shoutout to our very favorite Christmas song, of course). "Mac has been my go-to makeup brand for as long as I can remember and I'm so thrilled to be collaborating with them on a lipstick debuting this December, just in time for the holiday season!" she gushed at the time. "The champagne frosted 'All I Want' shade is elegant, sophisticated and glamorous." She also teased her 2016 collection, adding, "My Mac Beauty Icon collection will be launching in 2016 and is certain to not disappoint." The collection will be available in December. (Eonline)

How Drake's Night at the 2016 American Music Awards Could Rival Michael Jackson's Biggest Records. A battle between Michael Jackson and Drake? Please don't make us choose. Fortunately, this isn't a competition for who deserves more praise or credit. Instead, it's an acknowledgment that new records could be shattered Sunday night at the 2016 American Music Awards. For those who didn't realize, Drake surpassed Michael's impressive accomplishment for having the most AMA nominations in one single year with a whopping 13 nods. The King of Pop has held onto the title since 1984 when he was up for 11 different awards. But instead of limiting things to just the AMAs, we're expanding it even more to take a look inside Drake's successful year in all of 2016 thanks to his Views album. At the same time, we can't help but acknowledge Michael's incredible Thriller disc in 1984 that proved to be a game changer in the industry. As seen in our infographic, both performers found huge success before they turned 30 years young. And when talking numbers, the amount of success these two share is music to any industry member's ears. Whether you are more of a "One Dance" kind of guy or can't resist belting out "Human Nature," both artists have extremely catchy songs. And the respect between artists is evident. "[Seeing] Michael Jackson, for me, was one of the first times that I really [felt] the power of an entertainer," Drake once shared with MTV. "I remember having 'Moonwalker' -- I remember having that on [VHS] cassette and I remember how religiously I used to watch it. I used to feel like, as a kid, it was the most amazing place for me to escape to, because it was this world that Michael created." The rapper continued, "Now that I'm older I can look back and be like, 'Wow.' You know, he was one of the most consistent entertainers of all time. For me, I remember just how much I used to watch that movie and study it." No matter who wins or loses Sunday night, we're happy to have both of these artists on our playlists. The 2016 American Music Awards air Sunday night at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

The Grammy award winner recently song "Versace on the Floor" from his upcoming album, which will be his first in four years. His last album was his 2012 hit 'Unorthodox Jukebox.' There's no doubt tickets will sell like hot cakes, especially after Mars sent Twitter into meltdown during his November 2 visit to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. He and his band, The Hooligans, performed an incredible rendition of Adele's "All I Ask," a song he penned with the British singer, and they received rave reviews. (US Weekly)

Little Mix are getting us seriously hyped for their fourth album, Glory Days. Tuesday they dropped track Touch as a preview of the record - and it's a total banger. With Glory Days landing on November 18, the girls are teasing fans by releasing a track a day to anyone who pre-orders the digital album. The girls promised they would have a few club anthems on the new album, and they've definitely delivered with Touch. Jesy Nelson recently told Digital Spy of the new album: "It's way more mature." "There are more dance-y songs - ones that will get played in clubs, which is nice for us. It's just a new era of Little Mix." The track was produced by fellow chart-topper MNEK, with dancehall vibes. Be prepared to have the chorus stuck in your head all day long. Touch is the fourth album track we've heard, and follows the girl's boyfriend-dissing chart-topping single, Shout Out To My Ex. It was tipped to be the band's next single, and after hearing it we can confirm it definitely sounds like it's a hit. (British Glamour)

Almost 24 hours after Rae Sremmurd's rock star anthem "Black Beatles" hit No. 1 on the Hot 100, Nicki Minaj got in on the action by remixing the Mike Will Made-It produced cut titled "Black Barbies." The Queens rapper flips Swae Lee's infectious hook by singing, "That boy is a real p---y pleaser/All that fetty but he never met Masika/Tuck the chrome 22 in his sneaker/El Chapo but he crazy like La Quica." She even slips in a shot at the President-Elect: "Island gal/Donald Trump want me go home." Nicki Minaj hasn't been shy about her love for Rae Sremmurd after previously teaming with the duo for her Pinkprint Tour as well as songs like the "No Flex Zone" remix and the SremmLife standout "Throw Sum Mo." Pete Seeger's Clearwater Festival Returning in 2017. Organizers say a New York music festival founded by the late folk legend Pete Seeger will resume next year. Clearwater's Revival will return to the village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, on June 17-18, 2017. The Beacon, New York, based environmental group Hudson River Sloop Clearwater canceled this year's festival because of financial issues. Seeger and his wife, Toshi, started the Clearwater festival in 1978. The proceeds help support a floating classroom the group launched in 1969. The sloop is a 106-foot replica of the vessels that sailed the Hudson River in the 18th and 19th centuries. It's recently undergone a restoration. Festival updates will be posted on Facebook. Olly Murs, Emeli Sande and Cliff Richard Battle for U.K. Chart Supremacy. It's a tight race at the top of the U.K. albums chart where sales heavyweights Olly Murs, Emeli Sande and Cliff Richard are battling it out for the crown. Murs is on top at the midweek point with his fifth studio set, 24 HRS (RCA). If it stays at the helm come Friday, 24 HRS will become the one-time X-Factor U.K. contestant's fourth successive No. 1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart. Sande's comeback album Long Live The Angels (Virgin) is at No. 2 on the Official Albums Chart Update. Angels is the follow-up to the Scottish singer's debut Our Version Of Events from February 2012, which holds the record for the longest consecutive stretch inside the Top 10 for a female artist (67 weeks). Legendary British hitmaker Cliff Richard is close behind in third place with Just... Fabulous Rock 'N' Roll (Sony Music), his first studio LP since 2013's The Fabulous Rock 'N' Roll Songbook. Richard, who released his debut single "Move It" back in August 1958, should earn his 44th Top 10 album when the new chart is published late Friday. Fabulous is, astonishingly, Richard's 101st album release. A pair of Leonard Cohen albums are impacting the Top 20 as fans mourn the Canadian singer and songwriter's death. Cohen's final studio album You Want It Darker (Columbia) rises 29-6 and his hits set The Essential re-enters the chart at No. 19. Sting's 12th studio album 57th & 9th (A&M) is on track to take out the 10th position, one place above Simple Minds' Acoustic (Caroline) collection at No. 11. The posthumous David Bowie compilation Legacy (Parlophone) is poised to drop at No. 13. On the U.K. Singles Chart Update, Clean Bandit appears to be running away with another chart title for "Rockabye" (Atlantic). It's leading the midweek chart with a "healthy lead" over Little Mix's "Shout Out To My Ex" (Syco), according to the Official Charts Company. (Billboard)

Adele to Tour Australia for the First Time in 2017. The performer shared the news in a handwritten note posted to Twitter. Adele will visit Australia for the first time next year for a multi-city stadium tour. The superstar British singer Monday announced her Australia Live 2017 leg, with dates scheduled for each of the market's five big cities. The long-overdue tour kicks off Feb. 28 at Perth's Domain Stadium then moves on to Brisbane's Gabba (a venue typically associated with cricket and Aussie rules football), Sydney's ANZ Stadium, the Adelaide Oval and wraps up March 18 at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium. The 28-year-old performer shared the news in a handwritten note posted to Twitter. "G'Day it's me... I was wondering if after 10 years in the game you'd finally like to meet me in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide," she wrote. "Yep! I am coming Down Under." Live Nation will produce all the shows, which will be staged in a 360º in-the-round production with reserved seating on both the playing arenas and grandstands. As it stands, the itinerary has a lot of wiggle room should Adele and LN decide to expand the trek. The general on sale begins Nov. 10 for all dates. If record sales are anything to go by, Adele's Australian concert tickets should sell like hotcakes. The Londoner's three albums have had exceptional sales from Down Under. Adele's third and most recent album 25 is eight-times platinum certified, and remains inside the top 30 after 51 weeks on the ARIA Albums Chart (including a months-long stint at No. 1). The LP exploded out the gate last November with triple-platinum sales (210,000 unit) for the best opening week by any album in more than a decade. Adele's stadium trek will give a shot in the arm for Australia's touring market which, promoters say, is in its slowest cycle for the last 5-7 years. LN is also behind Coldplay's Australasian stadium run next month, which is shaping as one of the biggest tours of this year. (Hollywood Reporter)

Dwayne Johnson on Singing in Moana: "There's a Lot of Pressure." Yes, even Dwayne Johnson gets intimated. In Disney's Moana (in theaters Nov. 23), the 6-foot-5 actor and former WWE champ voices Maui: shape shifter, demigod of the wind and sea, hero of men. Like newcomer Auli'i Cravalho, who voices the titular character, Johnson performs his own musical number in the animated film. Singing solo made him nervous, but with Opetaia Foa'i, Mark Mancina and Lin-Manuel Miranda in charge of the movie's soundtrack, the 44-year-old actor knew he was in good hands. It also helped that Johnson had a captive audience, courtesy of his 11-month-old daughter. "I'm always singing to baby Jasmine, because we're at a point now where she can't shut me up -- unlike the other women in my life," he tells E! News' Erin Lim. "I was practicing for this." "I've sung in the past, and in Polynesian culture, we sing, we dance, we play ukulele or guitar, things like that -- but not to this level," Johnson adds. "It's Disney, and there's music involved. In a way, it's a musical. There's a lot of pressure...But I had the best time -- really, the best time." When Johnson hit the recording studio, Miranda gave him the boost of confidence he needed. "I didn't know how challenging Lin is lyrically when he writes. I just knew Lin. He's the king. He was just my dude, right? My buddy. He's great," Johnson recalled. "He sent me the song and I tried it, but it wasn't until after we were done with the session -- it was like six hours -- that I understood... these are really challenging lyrics in how they're put together, and where you go with it rhythmically and intonation. He goes, 'I want you to know: Feel good about yourself.'" The compliment floored People's Sexiest Man Alive. "Because again, I never did it, all right? It was my first shot at this," Johnson said. "He goes, 'I want you to know, you're real good. This is hard. You nailed it.' I was like, 'Thank you so much.'" To watch Johnson's performance of "You're Welcome," check out Moana, in theaters Nov. 23. (Eonline)

It's Official! Michelle Williams to Star in Janis Joplin Biopic. Michelle Williams is getting ready to rock! The Oscar-nominated actress confirms that she will play Janis Joplin in an upcoming biopic about the late music icon. It was reported last month that she was in talks for the project. I chatted with Williams earlier while she was promoting her new award season favorite Manchester By the Sea. "I figure there's one good day in the life of an actor, which is when you get the job," she said when I asked if the Joplin film was happening. "Before you get the job, you're like, 'Come on! I'm begging. I'm dying for this. I gotta have it! Please, I'll do anything. I promise...Take me! Take me!'" She continued, "You get the job and you're like, 'I got it! I'm so excited! I can't believe I have this opportunity. I can't believe I'm going to get to do this.' And then you start worrying the next day. I'm in the worrying-the-next-day phase." Janis, directed by Sean Durkin, is based on Love, Janis, a book by the singer's sister Laura Joplin. The rocker died in 1970 when she was just 27 from a heroin overdose. In Manchester By the Sea, Williams plays a woman who faces her tragic past when her ex-husband (Casey Affleck) returns to their Boston-area hometown to take care of his nephew (Lucas Hedges) after his brother (Kyle Chandler) dies. Williams' Boston accent is spot-on. She prepared by spending a lot of time in and around the Massachusetts capital. "I talked to people, I went up to people," Williams explained. "I overcame my natural shyness and said, 'Hi, I'm working on a movie. Would you mind talking into a tape recorder for me?' or 'Hi, can we have a conversation so I can just listen to you? Hi, would you mind if I came over for breakfast in the morning, so I could meet your friend, who is a mother and has four children?'" Manchester By the Sea is in theaters on Nov. 18. (Eonline)

Natalie Portman is already earning Oscar-buzz for her role in new biopic Jackie. And after watching the highly-anticipated new trailer, it's easy to see why. Natalie stars as Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of her husband John F. Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963. The two-minute trailer shows just a glimpse of her incredible performance. Natalie perfectly captures the emotional struggles faced by the former First Lady during her final few days in the White House. It's a raw insight into her grieving process, and her struggle to hold up the burden of a mourning nation. The costumes are as iconic as you'd expect, with the actress modeling a reproduction of Jackie's famous pink boucle jacket and pillar box hat in one scene. While later Natalie is seen in the black veil Jackie O famously wore to hide her face from intrusive paparazzi flashes at her husband's funeral. The movie is the first English language feature film from director Pablo Lorrain. It also stars Greta Gerwig and Peter Saarsgard. After showing at Venice and Toronto film festivals, it's earned Oscar whispers for Natalie, who previously scored the Best Actress gong for Black Swan back in 2011. Jackie will hit cinemas in January 2017. (British Glamour)

Amy Adams Talks Enchanted Sequel: It's What the World Needs Now. The Enchanted sequel can't come soon enough. "I don't know when it's starting, but we definitely have had conversations," Amy Adams, who starred in the 2007 movie as Giselle, told me at the Governors Awards. Adam Shankman is set to direct the follow-up, which will be called Disenchanted and will reportedly take place 10 years after the original movie ends. I reminded Adams of the time a few years ago that she told me she would be up for a sequel. "If the script is right, I still stand by that," the Nocturnal Animals star said. "I trust that the team they're putting together is putting together something that makes it timely. I think it's a good time in our world for Disenchanted." It sure is. Adams smiled, "I think a little singing and dancing, a little laughing at ourselves is good." Her Enchanted co-star James Marsden told me back in 2011, "I don't understand why they never did [a sequel]. It was a very successful movie." He said, "At some point when the gray hairs start coming, you can't really play the quintessential animated prince anymore. Amy and I were like, 'If we're going to do it, we do it before we're 40.'" (For the record, Adams is 42 and Marsden is 43.) Enchanted also starred Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel and Susan Sarandon. Disney is said to be hoping to start filming Disenchanted next summer. Adams can be seen in theaters now in the sci-fi drama Arrival. She stars opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Armie Hammer in director Tom Ford's upcoming Nocturnal Animals. (Eonline)

Quidditch Premier League Unveiled in U.K. The teams competing in the league inspired by J.K. Rowling's 'Harry Potter' books will include the London Monarchs, Southeast Knights, Eastern Mermaids, Yorkshire Roses and East Midland Archers. U.K. media outlets from the BBC to ITV, Sky to The Guardian, were buzzing Tuesday with news of the launch of Britain's Quidditch Premier League. Featuring eight teams competing in the sport made up by J.K. Rowling in her Harry Potter books, the league says on its website that it will launch next summer. "Exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but expect the inaugural QPL season to debut in early July 2017 and to conclude in late August 2017," it says. The news of the launch comes just ahead of the theatrical launch of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, starring Eddie Redmayne and set in Rowling's magical universe. Each Premier League team will represent "a geographic 'catchment area,'" the league says on its site. The eight teams competing are The London Monarchs, The Southwest Broadside, The Southeast Knights and The Eastern Mermaids in the Southern division, and The Northern Watch, The Yorkshire Roses, The East Midland Archers and The West Midland Revolution in the Northern region. Each team will hold regional tryouts in its area in April. "The best 30 players will be chosen by that team's manager, and they will form that team's 2017 roster," says the league. "Twenty-one players from those 30 will be selected for each fixture, providing some flexibility and strategy, as well as allowances for fatigue over the course of the season." Seven players, including a keeper, a seeker, three chasers and two beaters, are on the field for each team at any time, with a maximum of four players of the same gender per team allowed at the same time. The quaffle is a semi-deflated volleyball thrown through hoops for points. The snitch in the real-life game is a tennis ball inside a sock that is attached to the snitch runner's shorts. When the snitch is caught by either team's seeker, the game ends. What about hoops, brooms and jerseys? "We are hoping to partner with several organizations to provide standardized equipment," the league says. Quidditch in the Potter books is played by teams that fly on broomsticks. In the real-life version, players must hold a broom between their legs and run around a pitch. Two students in Vermont are credited with first putting on games in 2005. The sport has since seen tournaments in various parts of the world. There is even a biannual Quidditch World Cup. Australia won the most recent edition in Frankfurt in July. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Life, Animated' Director Roger Ross Williams: Documentaries "Can Be Uplifting and Positive". 'Life, Animated' is "an uplifting, positive story about going into the older world of Owen, who has autism," said Williams. "Owen developed such a rich, internal world, and I bring the audience into that world," filmmaker Roger Ross Williams told The Hollywood Reporter during the Documentary Oscar Roundtable while discussing his film, Life, Animated, about a boy who learned how to communicate through the medium of Disney's classic films. Disney allowed Williams to use footage from classic films, to re-cut and in some cases re-draw scenes from its animation. "I had to go into the studio with all the heads of every department of Disney: legal, animation, marketing. And I had to take them on a journey through the film," said Williams. "By the time I finished, they were in tears." More roundtables featuring actors and actresses, screenwriters, songwriters, directors, composers and producers will continue throughout February in print and online. 'O.J.: Made in America' Director Edelman: "Fundamentally the Story Was Going to Be About Race" | Documentary Oscar Roundtable. "The story of O.J. always was a story about the City of Los Angeles and the black community here and the Los Angeles Police Department," said Ezra Edelman. "What I learned very quickly is how many more things [the film] is about [other than race]," said filmmaker Ezra Edelman during The Hollywood Reporter's Documentary Oscar Roundtable in regards to his work O.J.: Made in America. "It's about gender and masculinity, domestic abuse, the criminal justice system, celebrity, the media: it goes on and on." "As much as it really does explain and encapsulate four or five decades about race in America it also sort of really speaks to America as a whole and the interconnectedness of all these themes," Edelman told THR. In addition to tackling these various lofty themes in his eight-hour piece, Edelman added that dealing with the subject matter involving a brutal murder and the ongoing violence between the LAPD and the African-American community of Los Angeles, made it so that, "there [was] nothing about this that was fun. But you know that you are telling a history that so needs to be told." More roundtables featuring actors and actresses, screenwriters, songwriters, directors, composers and producers will continue throughout February in print and online. Tune into new episodes of Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter starting Jan. 15 on Sundance TV, and look for clips at THR.com/topic/roundtables with full episodes on THR.com after broadcast. Marvel's The Inhumans Will Now Be a TV Series on ABC. ABC is continuing their partnership with Marvel Television -- and in a big way -- with the surprising announcement of their latest series. Marvel's The Inhumans will make its way to the network in the fall of 2017, but not before getting a premiere on the biggest screens. A version of the show's first two episodes will run worldwide exclusively in IMAX theaters for two weeks at the beginning of September. ABC plans to then premiere the weekly series in the fall, with additional exclusive content that will only be seen on the network. Introduced in ABC's first Marvel series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Inhumans are a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers. Marvel's The Inhumans will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family. The cross-platform distribution deal is the first of its kind for a television series, as well as marking the first time IMAX has financed a TV show. "This unprecedented alliance represents a bold, innovative approach to launching great TV content for a worldwide audience," Ben Sherwood, co-chairman, Disney Media Networks and president, Disney|ABC Television Group, said in a statement. "It highlights Disney|ABC's unrelenting commitment to finding new and creative ways to showcasing our very best programming and increasing global engagement and reach." "We're happy to see this unique deal come together, working with our partners," Dan Buckley, President, Marvel Television, Publishing & Brand, added. "In an ever-changing world of distribution and consumption, it's very exciting to be part of a groundbreaking initiative that takes us to the forefront of this evolution." No further details regarding the show, including who will be showrunner, were readily available. Are you looking forward to The Inhumans coming to TV? (Eonline)

All3Media, BBC Worldwide Join Barry Diller's Vimeo as Partners. The U.K. players follow Lionsgate and Starz in licensing series to Vimeo's global TV store. John Malone is doing more business with former protege Barry Diller's streaming platform Vimeo as it challenges Netflix. After Lionsgate and Starz, pending merger partners and part of the king of cable's investment universe, became the first Hollywood studios to join Vimeo and its global television store, the IAC-owned streaming service has unveiled content licensing deals with All3Media International and BBC Worldwide. All3Media, the TV, film and digital production and distribution company owned by Discovery Communications and Malone's Liberty Global, will initially make all seven seasons of Skins and four seasons of Fresh Meat available on Vimeo's global television store. The first slate of programming from BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the U.K. public broadcaster, for Vimeo includes the music doc They Will Have to Kill Us First, available worldwide except in the U.S. and France; the digital-first travel series for BBC3, Mission Selfie; and Isms & Schisms. Beyond the launch titles, Vimeo said All3Media and BBC Worldwide will bring bigger parts of their catalogs to the global TV store. Discovery Communications and Liberty Global last year acquired All3Media for $930 million. Malone controls Liberty Global and is a major shareholder in Discovery. He's also a major shareholder in Lionsgate, which in September unveiled a licensing deal to make its TV slate, including series like Orange Is the New Black, Mad Men and The Royals, available to Vimeo subscribers in the U.S. and 150 other countries. That was quickly followed by Starz and its own licensing deal, which sees TV shows like Ash vs Evil Dead, Black Sails and The Girlfriend Experience offered up to Vimeo subscribers. Vimeo has been talking to Hollywood studios and other international production players about using its global TV store as one more platform to get premium TV content to online, next-generation customers worldwide. The service officially launched last month at MIPCOM. "Vimeo is thrilled to collaborate with All3Media International and BBC Worldwide," Vimeo's head of global content partnerships and distribution, Sam Toles, said in a statement. "The partners each bring a unique array of content from the U.K.'s finest creators that we're excited to have on our platform for viewers around the world." Stuart Wettenhall, head of digital partnerships at BBC Worldwide, in his own statement welcomed the Vimeo partnership. "We think our launch titles serve the adventurous spirit of Vimeo's dedicated audience, continuing the BBC's tradition of premium storytelling. We look forward to growing our partnership with Vimeo over the coming year," he said. (Hollywood Reporter)
