Plan for overnight delays at 32nd Street, Avenue 3E this week Roadway resurfacing continues near Yuma International Airport

An ongoing Arizona Department of Transportation project to improve the road surface on 32nd Street in Yuma will require several brief closures of the intersection of 32nd Street and Avenue 3E for the next two nights.

Drivers should expect temporary closures of 15-20 minutes at the intersection overnight Tuesday, November 15, and Wednesday, November 16, as crews resurface the intersection near Yuma International Airport.
ADOT is resurfacing 32nd Street between Avenue 3E and Avenue 8.5E. The road will remain open during most of the work, which takes place daily between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. The project is expected to be completed by Friday morning.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors. For the most current information about highway closures and restrictions statewide, visit ADOT’s Travel Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow us on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
