UPDATE: Overnight lane and ramp restrictions on I-10 near Prince Road for striping

The following lane and ramp restrictions will be in place on Interstate 10 near Prince Road for striping as work to construct a new drainage system at Interstate 10 and the Flowing Wells Wash nears completion. The work will occur from 9 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 9, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.

  • The right lane on eastbound I-10 between Miracle Mile and Ruthrauff Road will be closed.
  • The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Prince Road will be closed.
  • The westbound I-10 on-ramp at Miracle Mile will be closed.
  • The right lane on the westbound frontage road will remain closed through Thursday morning, Nov. 10.

With large equipment on site and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway, motorists should not follow trucks into the work zones.

The work is to construct a new drainage system at I-10 and the Flowing Wells Wash. It includes installation of two 96-inch steel pipes underneath the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and completion of remaining westbound I-10 frontage road improvements.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
