Pavement project will impact travel on US 95 in Yuma in December Plan for one lane only near Avenue 10E; expect delays

A project to repair and preserve the pavement on US 95 in Yuma will require lane restrictions beginning Monday, Dec. 4, and continuing during daytime hours through Thursday, Dec. 21. The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and allow extra drive time, especially during the peak morning and evening hours. Consider using an alternate route, such as Interstate 8 between Araby and Fortuna roads.
Work will occur on north and southbound US 95 between Araby Road (milepost 29) and Avenue 10 ½ E (milepost 33).
Hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
US 95 will be narrowed to one lane only between mileposts 32 and 33 (approaching Avenue 10E) . Flaggers will guide drivers through the open lane.
ADOT will maintain one lane of traffic in each direction between mileposts 29 and 32.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov. For real-time highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
