09/12/2017 08:01 PM EDT

CURRENT BID: $250 STATE: ND NO. OF BIDDERS: 0 CLOSE TIME: 09-19-2017 06:01 PM CT. Mystic Moon, also known as Mariana (Individual ID: THRO_17007), is a bay yearling filly with a star and snip, and a right hind sock. Approximate height in hands 13, approximate weight 700 lbs. This animal was part of an exhibition herd of feral horses maintained at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was born in August, 2016. Because this horse is untrained and has had little direct human contact, recipient corral facilities must be a minimum of six feet in height throughout to prevent escape. Extensive experience in gentling and training horses will be required to handle this animal. Buyers should be aware that there is a possibility that this horse has been bred. Though it is not common that yearling females would be pregnant in the summer of their second year of life, it is possible. The buyer must make arrangements with park staff for pick-up of the animal at corral facilities near Medora, North Dakota (zip code: 58645). The buyer must provide transportation from park lands to the receiving location. Standard covered stock trailers and horse trailers large enough for four or more horses are generally acceptable. One-horse trailers are not allowed, and two-horse trailers are not allowed unless they are a stock type, with no internal dividers. Lengthwise and slant-load dividers must be removed. Animals must ride loose and have enough space to turn around. Drop ramp loading doors are not recommended. ***Please note: The successful bidder is required to submit the Electronic Livestock Statement of Intent Form prior to payment. Bidders must provide all requested information and must mark the blocks which state under AS A PURCHASER I WILL MAINTAIN THE HEALTH OF THE ANIMAL(S) AND HOUSE ANIMAL(S) IN A SECURE ENVIRONMENT.
