Interstate 17 restrictions scheduled this week for wrong-way vehicle detection project
Phoenix drivers should plan for overnight restrictions along Interstate 17 this week as work continues to install the pilot wrong-way vehicle detection and warning system. All of the following ramp restrictions are scheduled nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day:
Monday, Nov. 13
Southbound I-17 off-ramp at McDowell Road closed.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
North- and southbound I-17 on-ramps at Indian School Road closed.
Northbound I-17 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue closed.
Northbound I-17 frontage road closed from Colter Street to Missouri Avenue.
Monday, Nov. 13
Southbound I-17 off-ramp at McDowell Road closed.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
North- and southbound I-17 on-ramps at Indian School Road closed.
Northbound I-17 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue closed.
Northbound I-17 frontage road closed from Colter Street to Missouri Avenue.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
Southbound I-17 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue closed.
North- and southbound I-17 on-ramps at Camelback Road closed.
Southbound I-17 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue closed.
North- and southbound I-17 on-ramps at Camelback Road closed.
Thursday, Nov. 16
Southbound I-17 on-ramp at Yorkshire Drive closed.
Southbound I-17 off-ramp at Thunderbird Road closed.
Drivers should plan for possible delays and use alternate routes.
