SSgt. Stuart DiPaolo, Maintenance Chief, 1st Marine Raider Support Bn., was severely injured on Camp Pendleton during an ATV training exercise on Oct. 5, 2015. Despite the odds after every bone in his face being crushed, SSgt. DiPaolo has continued making strides in his recovery and will return to active duty to complete the Career Course before medically retiring. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
