Collectors American Indian Festival of Arts, Crafts & Dances 

Shop for the finest American Indian arts & crafts for the collector of basketry, bead work, turquoise jewelry, pottery and rugs, direct from the artist Feb 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily at Cineplex 1055  (1055 W. Grant Road, Tucson). These artists change from show to show - most demonstrating. The festival will have two silversmiths for custom jewelry and re- pairs from our 30 year collection of turquoise. Most of these mines are no longer open. Also, there is a collection of seed beads in 80 colors featuring rare size 13, 16, and 18 beads from 1860-1900. Open each day free to the public.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
