The attached memorandum serves as notice that FHWA has terminated and rescinded the MUTCD Interim Approval IA-5 for the use of Clearview Typeface on traffic signs. The use of Clearview Typeface on new signs will no longer be allowed by any agency in Arizona after February 24, 2016.
