One lane road on US 60 west of Miami Monday Feb. 29
Expect short delays for pilot car operation

Motorists using US 60 west of Miami should expect a lane closure as crews pour concrete for a concrete box culvert. The culvert runs under US 60 just west of Miami and one lane will be closed to allow concrete pouring equipment in to the area.

Construction work will be from 7 a.m. till 11 a.m. Flaggers and a pilot car will be used to escort traffic through the area in alternating directions. Motorists should expect delays of up to 20 minutes.

This work is part of the $8.8 million construction project for the Oak Flat passing lane.

Drivers are asked to use caution, watch for construction equipment and personnel, and allow extra time for your commute.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur.
