Kerry Washington Is Pregnant! Scandal Star Expecting Second Child With Nnamdi Asomugha, Sources Confirm. Gladiators have a big reason to celebrate. Scandal star Kerry Washington is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, two sources confirm to E! News exclusively. The actress' baby bump was on display when she attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. Washington is also expected to walk the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala. Washington's happy news comes as the proud parents continue to raise daughter Isabelle away from the public eye. At the same time, the Hollywood couple has been open about how parenthood has changed them for the better. "I will say I feel really, really blessed," Kerry gushed to the Los Angeles Times in one of her first interviews after welcoming a child. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life." When talking to close friend Jimmy Kimmel late at night, the actress also tried to play it cool when discussing the joys of motherhood. "Life is really great," she shared. "You know, little girl at home, it's great." Some of her co-stars from Shonda Rhimes' addictive drama have shared how much being a mom has impacted Kerry in more ways than one. "[Motherhood] has just made her more awesome than she was to begin with," Tony Goldwyn shared with E! News. "She's just so happy all the time as it does when you have a baby. It's a magical time." Despite a few confessions here and there, fans of the actress have known for a long time that Kerry likes to keep her family life private. In addition to secretly getting married to her football stud -- didn't you know he used to be a San Francisco 49ers cornerback -- Kerry has made it clear that her personal life will rarely be addressed on Twitter. "Well...I still won't talk about my personal life on here," she said last year. "But...I see your tweets. And I am filled with gratitude! XO #HappyMothersDay." There's just one more thing to say: Congratulations Kerry and Nnamdi on your happy news! (Eonline)

Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan Walk First Red Carpet as an Engaged Couple at Radio Disney Music Awards. Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan are taking their new relationship status to the red carpet! The Disney Channel stars stepped out this weekend to attend the Radio Disney Music Awards in Los Angeles. But as we quickly discovered, this wasn't just another awards show. Instead, it marked the couple's first red carpet as an engaged duo. Before enjoying the show inside the Microsoft Theater, the Hollywood stars were spotted mingling with fans and posing for a variety of photos. Dove opted for a white skirt and pink blouse while Ryan chose aqua blue dress pants, Converse sneakers and a cardigan over his button-down. After the pair witnessed the finished product of their photos, Dove admitted that her facial expression weren't exactly revealing her true emotions inside. "Why do I either look so angry in every photo or like a scared small animal," she joked on Twitter. The 20-year-old also assured fans, "I am SO HAPPY I COULD BREAK TO PIECES." It certainly was the case more than two weeks ago when Ryan dedicated his 1,000 Instagram picture to his girlfriend. As the 22-year-old posted that all-important photo, fans received some news that was quite the pleasant surprise. "Dedicating my 1,000th post to my fiancee," he wrote. "I can't believe I get to call you that. Thanks for saying yes." Dove later posted, "Calling you my 'boyfriend' never really felt right anyway. Fiancee looks better on you." The two first met as co-stars on the hit sitcom Liv and Maddie and took their romance public in August 2013. Known to fans as The Girl and the Dreamcatcher, the duo would later hit the road in 2015 as a musical duo. Fast-forward to today and the pair is simply enjoying the newest part of their relationship. "We were both very clear with each other that it was like, 'I know you're my person. You know you're my person. There's nobody else,'" Dove shared with People at the Race to Erase MS gala in Beverly Hills. "But I knew he wanted to get married young -- he had told me that. He was like, 'That's what I want as my life plan.'" She added, "I literally feel like I've never been so calm before. I feel rooted to the ground. I feel good." (Eonline)
Some things are better left unsaid, much like Bar Refaeli's latest social media share. While tuning in to "Grey's Anatomy" from the couch Sunday, the mom-to-be quipped that by binge watching the long-running drama, her unborn child might dream of medical school the moment she comes out of the womb. "If I watch enough episodes of 'Grey's Anatomy,' do you think my daughter will come out wanting to be a doctor?!" the supermodel quizzed her 2 million Instagram followers. Though Refaeli's fans offered a few other TV shows instead -- including the geniuses featured on "The Big Bang Theory" -- the 30-year-old still has awhile to go before she can fiddle with her daughter's aspirations. Refaeli and husband Adi Ezra are set to welcome their first child later this summer. (Page Six)
Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas Spotted Out on Dinner Date (Again!) After Actress Said She's Single. Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas just can't seem to keep away from each other. The rumored lovebirds were spotted having a lengthy dinner on Sunday at Carbone in New York City, reigniting dating speculation. Hudson, 37, sported a purple, patterned jacket over a sheer purple top along with a pair of jeans. The 23-year-old singer wore a green, button-down shirt with a black jacket and jeans. The outing marks the first public appearance by the two together since they commented on the mysterious relationship in February. In his cover story for Complex magazine's February/March issue, Jonas said that he and Hudson had a "beautiful connection." "Kate's incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful," the "Chains" singer said. The two have often skirted questions about their rumored romance, but Hudson has confirmed in February that she's on the market. During an appearance on CBS' This Morning, the Mother's Day actress called Jonas a "sweetheart" and a "great guy." The two have skirted questions about their relationship since they were first linked last September. They were spotted enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner in Los Angeles ahead of Valentine's Day and even went on a January getaway to a California ski resort. However, a source told PEOPLE last October that Hudson and Jonas' romance was "just a fling" and Jonas was even briefly linked to actress Lily Collins in February – an insider called the Jonas-Collins romance "new" and "casual." "[Hudson and Jonas] stopped talking for a little bit just because they were sort of in different mindsets, but that happened for only a few weeks," a source told PEOPLE, adding that Jonas started hanging out with Collins during that period. "There's definitely an attraction there," the source added of Hudson and Jonas. "And they're just trying to figure out how to make sense of the situation." (People)
PETA Slams Justin Bieber for Posing With a Chained Tiger at His Dad's Engagement Party. Justin Bieber's Purpose, according to PETA, should not be to pose with chained tigers. The Canadian pop star returned home to celebrate the engagement of his father, Jeremy Bieber, to his now fiancee Chelsey Rebelo, and for some reason the party featured a tiger. No, it wasn't a pet tiger on the loose like Mike Tyson's in The Hangover, but instead was chained on some sort of leash contraption. While Bieber obviously felt this was an amazing photo opportunity, animal rights organization PETA is slamming the "Love Yourself" crooner. "Justin Bieber is lucky not to have had his throat torn out by this stressed captive tiger," says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange to E! News in a statement. "Tigers used for photo ops are torn away from their mothers shortly after birth, and the Bowmanville Zoo, in particular, was caught whipping one tiger more than 17 times, even after the cat was lying on his back in a position of submission and fear. This is why PETA urges everyone to stay far away from cruel and dangerous big-cat photo ops and also why we're asking Justin to vow that this will be his last time promoting these types of abusive outfits." Justin hasn't responded to PETA's request, but he did capture the moment on Instagram, so it seems he's proud of this meet and greet (despite canceling all his other photo opps with fans). The party also featured a plethora of superheroes. In addition to introducing the world to his four-legged cat friend, the Biebs also debuted new hair. After receiving tons of criticism for rocking blond dreadlocks, the "Children" singer shaved all his hair off, much to the delight of his Beliebers. "Your hair looks 10x better!!" a fan wrote. "This is his hair now ? he looks like he's about to join the navy," another fan said. "NO MORE DREADS YESSSSS GOD BLESS," a third person wrote. While the shade about his hair has come to an end, it looks like this tiger is going to get the criticism rolling in all over again. Whatever backlash he may face, Bieber seems to be relaxing on his private jet -- worry free. (Eonline)
Someone's shopping around what they say is a Blac Chyna/Tyga sex tape, and the leading lady is doing everything within her power to keep it in the can. Blac Chyna's lawyer, Walter Mosley, tells TMZ Chyna will go after anyone who releases the tape ... with a vengeance. A tape has been sent to media outlets and porn companies ... we can't vouch for the identity of the stars, but the tattoos match. As far as we know, so far there are no takers. (TMZ)
Prince's brothers and sisters are showing up for the first court hearing to divide the spoils of Prince's life, and it's already become an acrimonious process. Tyka Nelson -- Prince's only full sibling -- is expected to show, along with Alfred and some of the other siblings. TMZ broke the story, Tyka stormed out of a meeting Friday after Alfred accused her of disrespecting him by not inviting him to Prince's memorial service. We're told Tyka set the stage in the meeting for a money fight ... she feels she's entitled to more than 1/6 of the estate, but under Minnesota law all 6 siblings share equally. UPDATE: The probate hearing ended and most of the siblings signed off on Bremer Trust bank being named special administrator of Prince's estate. His half-brother, John R. Nelson, was not in court, but an attorney said John did not sign the consent form -- but the judge approved the petition to put the bank in charge. John was the only living sibling not present. (TMZ)
The 911 operator who painfully procrastinated while Kid Rock and his girlfriend made a desperate plea for an ambulance was rock solid and right ... so say her bosses. It's difficult to hear. Kid Rock pleads with the dispatcher to send help for his assistant who appears to be dead after getting into an accident on the singer's ATV, but the dispatcher asks a slew of questions before sending help, some of which make no sense. You hear both Kid Rock and the girlfriend say the man appears dead, and then the dispatcher asks, "Is he awake?" A rep for the Nashville Emergency Communications Center tells us the dispatcher was following protocol ... adding the agency must protect first responders, so the dispatcher won't send them until he or she is convinced the EMTs aren't putting their lives on the line. Turns out the ambulance did no good ... KR's assistant, Michael Sacha, was already dead when he called. (TMZ)
Prince did not lose all rights to his music in a billion dollar bet ... according to Prince's estate, which is shutting down that exact claim from a random guy. Bremer Trust bank, the administrator of the estate, responded to Rodney Dixon's rambling legal filing -- in which he says he won the rights to "Purple Rain," "Raspberry Beret," "Kiss" and every other song Prince ever wrote -- because they had a bet over whether Prince was the Messiah. Yeah, it sounds crazy, and that's basically what Bremer Trust points out. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, the bank says Dixon's claim is "frivolous," and he would need to have a written agreement to transfer ownership of Prince's catalog. Dixon admits all he has is a "verbal and implied agreement." That doesn't cut it for the estate ... which wants the court to toss the claim. We've reached out to Dixon, but he hasn't gotten back to us. (TMZ)
Blac Chyna is a couple hundred thousand dollars light after someone got into her safe, and signs point to the culprit being someone close to her and Rob Kardashian. Law enforcement sources tell us the burglar jacked more than $200k in cash and jewelry from the safe in BC's Tarzana home. We're told Rob, who also stays at the house, discovered the crime and called cops over the weekend. Our sources say there were no obvious signs of entry, and the safe wasn't busted open -- leading cops to believe someone in Chyna and Rob's inner circle could be responsible. As we previously reported ... a Blac Chyna and Tyga sex tape is being shopped around town. It's possible the thieves were looking for a hard copy. (TMZ)
THE OTHER STUFF . . .
J.K. Rowling Apologizes for Killing Remus Lupin: "I Didn't Enjoy Doing It." Today we bow our heads for those lost during the fictional Battle of Hogwarts. May 2 marks the anniversary since the gruesome events ended the Second Wizarding War in Harry Potter, so author J.K. Rowling is paying tribute by apologizing for killing a fan-favorite character: Remus Lupin. The British author took to Twitter to atone for her actions. "Once again, it's the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts so, as promised, I shall [apologize] for a death. This year: Remus Lupin," Rowling wrote on Twitter. "In the interests of total honesty I'd also like to confess that I didn't decide to kill Lupin until I wrote Order of the Phoenix." Lupin first entered the fantasy world in The Prisoner of Azkaban. A werewolf, Lupin was very close with Harry Potter's parents and married to Tonks, who became an important character in the Order of the Phoenix. He also served as one of the series' Defense Against the Dark Arts professors. The Harry Potter author also explained her rationale for killing off Lupin, but we doubt it'll quell readers' emotions about the loss. "Arthur lived, so Lupin had to die. I'm sorry. I didn't enjoy doing it," she tweeted, adding, "The only time my editor ever saw me cry was over the fate of Teddy." Rowling began her apologies last year, giving fans some solace about Fred Weasley's devastating death. "I thought I might [apologize] for one death per anniversary," she wrote. "Fred was the worst for me, so I started with him." There is some consolation in finding out Rowling is just as devastated as we are. Ever since the Harry Potter series came to an end, Rowling has been explaining some of her literary decisions. One major choice she had to explain was why Harry honored Severus Snape despite having murdered Albus Dumbledore. "Snape died for Harry out of love for Lily," Rowling tweeted, in response to a fan's question about it. "Harry paid him tribute in forgiveness and gratitude." She added, "In honoring Snape, Harry hoped in his heart that he too would be forgiven. The deaths at the Battle of Hogwarts would haunt Harry forever," she explained, referring to the casualties in the Battle of Hogwarts. "Harry chose to perpetuate the names of the two who had nobody in their families to do so." Explanation and apologies aside, it still hurt to lose beloved characters. (Eonline)
Supermodel Christy Turlington has been famous for over three decades and is one of the most photographed women in the world-but she's accomplished a lot more than modeling success. In an exclusive AOL Makers video, Turlington, 47, discusses everything from the start of her modeling career to her maternal health activism. An early highlight of Turlington's career was her appearance in the 1990 George Michael music video Freedom 90 with fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz and Cindy Crawford. "It was sort of the end of music as we knew it, where big business really took over that industry," Turlington says. "I think it was like George [Michael] saying 'you know what? I don't want to be on screen, I'm not playing this game anymore. And you know who I want to have represent me? Five supermodels.'" "I was exposed to the most incredible artists, writers, people of that time," Turlington says of her career. "I loved being the youngest in a group of creative people." Turlington was discovered at the age of 13 at a horse stable by a photographer. "I had braces, I was in my most awkward years," she says. Within 18 months, she signed with Ford Models in New York City. Turlington began developing her activist roots after her father died from lung cancer. "I quit smoking when I was 25," she says. "My dad, he had been a lifelong smoker. So when he was diagnosed, he was given six months to live." Turlington filmed an anti-smoking PSA after her father's death. "I got a feeling of what it could be like to do more meaningful work and to advocate for health and wellness," Turlington says. Turlington married actor and director Ed Burns in 2003. The pair have two children. Complications around the birth of her first child 2003 ignited her passion for maternal healthcare and led to Turlington creating her non-profit Every Mother Counts. Turlington had a postpartum hemorrhage, the leading cause of maternal mortality. "I realized that had I been in a lot of other places in the world, I probably would not have survived. I felt so compelled that this was something that I needed to do," Turlington says. "Hundreds and thousands of girls and women are dying, but 98 percent of the deaths are preventable," she continues. "This is a gender issue, this is an equality issue, and that's something that I want to change." (People)

Brooklyn Decker Just Asked One Very Important Question: "Why Do I Have a Small Butt Crack on My Neck?" Forget about the hair, makeup and red carpet outfit. Brooklyn Decker has her eyes on something totally different. While appearing at the iHeartCountry Festival at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, the actress and music fan was more than willing to pose for photos before showtime. But when she was looking over the finished products, she couldn't help but notice something on her neck. "Can we talk about the small butt crack on my neck?" she wrote on Instagram with a shot from Saturday evening. "Why do I have a small butt crack on my neck?" LOL! Perhaps it's just the angle of the photo? Maybe Brooklyn is simply her toughest critic? And seriously girl, you look great. Whatever the case may be, the proud mom was more than able to co-host the festival with Bobby Bones. This year's lineup included Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt and Zac Brown Band. As for who closed out the sold-out show? Look no further than the one and only Miranda Lambert. While Brooklyn couldn't help but dance and sing all night long, it was back to work Sunday morning when the actress flew home before the premiere of Grace and Frankie. "These are my best friends right now," Andy Roddick's wife shared with a handy pair of eye masks. "@graceandfrankie premiere in T-3 hours. #nofilter #duh." And for those hoping to watch this country gathering as well, you're in luck. The special is slated to air on AT&T AUDIENCE Network on May 13 at 9 p.m. (Eonline)
Mira Sorvino was 40 minutes late to the LA premiere of her new movie, "Mothers and Daughters," at the London West Hollywood Hotel on Thursday when the studio sent her a SUV that was having battery issues, says a source. "Mira and husband Christopher Backus, who is also in the film, ended up driving themselves." Co-star Ashanti also arrived 40 minutes late due to a "fashion emergency." "Something broke, so she had to do a last minute change," says the source. Sharon Stone and Selma Blair also star in the film. (Page Six)
Who needs makeup when you look this radiant? Melissa McCarthy stunned with a fresh, makeup-free face while on the Los Angeles set of Ghostbusters on Sunday, May 1. Dressed in character as scientist Abby Yates, the Boss actress, 45, smiled while showing off porcelain skin and a tousled bun. Gearing up for some ghost-busting, McCarthy also sported a protective vest, leg pads and pink elbow pads over a purple tunic and harem pants. McCarthy stars alongside Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones in the much-anticipated, female-led reboot of the 1980s classic. "Getting to go to work every day with Paul Feig and with those three other ladies and all the different people we had in and out of there [was the most fun]," the Oscar-nominated actress told Us Weekly at the Time100 Gala. "There's not a bad day that we had. That was kind of a pinch yourself every day and at the end of those four months, you leave heartbroken. That's pretty much how that went." McCarthy also dished to Us about her "sentimental" return to Gilmore Girls. "There was the longest time when it was just not going to work out schedule wise and then once we decided like, 'Is there any possible way?'" she shared. "Something big fell out for me; something changed for them and then we immediately-I went back an visited about two weeks ago and saw the sets again and everybody on them and it just felt -- oh my god, I get so sentimental and it felt like the greatest idea in the world. It was just lovely." (US Weekly)

Lamar Odom's dad was booted from his LA home and forced to move back to Brooklyn after Khloe Kardashian refused to keep paying his rent, he tells The Post. "Khloe didn't even have the guts to tell me herself that my rent wasn't going to be paid anymore," said Joe Odom, 62. "She got the guys who handle Lamar's money to call me and they said the rent wouldn't be paid, I gotta move and my phone was going to get cut off." The former NBA star had paid his disabled father's $4,000 rent for 10 years when Kardashian kicked the Army vet and his wife, Cecelia, 59, to the curb last November. "She disrespected me. She decided to kick me out of my home when Lamar was in hospital in Nevada," he said. The reality television star had taken over Lamar Odom's finances after brothel left him nearly dead in October. "I just wish I could be at his side in LA to support him, but Khloe doesn't want me there," the broken-up father said. The glum dad believes Kardashian is "smothering" Lamar and attempting to cut off their communication. "Whenever I call him, she answers. She must be checking his texts, too. I can't always get through to him anymore," he said. "She may be Lamar's wife, but I'm his father. She shouldn't have cut me out of his life like she has." Last week, Joe was finally able to get through to Lamar, who said he would "sort it out," but nothing has changed, he says. Kardashian chose to stick it out with her estranged hubby and call off their divorce after Lamar was found unresponsive and foaming at the mouth by hookers at the Love Ranch brothel. Joe Odom, a vet who says he can't work because he suffers from PTSD and pneumonia, is now barely scraping by. He is particularly concerned about the 36-year-old former hoops star after he was spotted drinking with pals in LA. "Drinking is a slippery slope to all kinds of vices, and I want Lamar to stay away from it. It won't help his recovery. I'm praying he makes it, of course," he said. Lamar is attending daily rehab at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA while he recovers from severe kidney damage from his three-day bender. (Page Six)

Britney Spears to Receive Millennium Award and Perform a Medley of Hits at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. It's Britney Spears' world, and we're just living in it. The "Pretty Girls" singer will receive the Millennium Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The special award acknowledges an artist's outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry. Only Beyonce and Whitney Houston share the same distinction, having won in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Spears will also perform a medley of her biggest hits on May 22. Spears has won six Billboard Music Awards in the past: New Artist of the Year (1999), Female Artist of the Year (1999), Female Albums Artist of the Year (1999), Female Singles Artist of the Year (1999), Albums Artist of the Year (2000) and Hot Dance Sales Single of the Year (2004). In 2000, she also received a special award for the largest first week sales ever for a female artist. Since 1999's ...Baby One More Time, six of Spears' eight studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The pop star -- known for hits like "...Baby One More Time," "Oops!...I did It Again," "I'm a Slave 4 U," "Me Against the Music (feat. Madonna)," "Gimme More," "Womanizer," "Hold It Against Me" and "Work Bitch" -- is doing a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. She is also hard at work one her ninth studio album. "Honestly, I'm just particular with this record," she said in V magazine's 100th anniversary issue. "It's my baby, and so I really want it done right. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be, whether that takes another year for me to do, or two months. I have no idea at this point. But I just know that the direction I'm going in is so good. It's the best thing I've done in a long time. I'm proud of the work, and it's very different; it's not what you would think at all. But I'm not rushing anything." Spears, 34, reiterated, "I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it." The Billboard Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena on May 22 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. Ludacris and Ciara will co-host the show, with scheduled performances by Justin Bieber, DNCE, The Go-Go's, Nick Jonas with Tove Lo, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes and Pink. (Eonline)
Blake Shelton Is Gwen Stefani's Biggest Cheerleader as She Receives Standing Ovation at Radio Disney Music Awards. Sunday night is Gwen Stefani's night to shine! At Sunday evening's Radio Disney Music Awards, everyone was excited to see the lead singer of No Doubt receive her special "Hero Award." But perhaps there was one special guy who had a little more enthusiasm than everyone else. Yes, we're talking about you, Blake Shelton. As soon as Pharrell Williams introduced Gwen, the "Honey Bee" singer stood up for what turned into a standing ovation from the entire Microsoft Theater audience. He also shared a sweet kiss with his leading lady before she walked on stage. "This is crazy that this is happening to me! I never thought, I mean who am I, that I would ever make a difference?" Gwen shared with the audience. "I am so honored to be here, I am so honored to be making music." She continued, "I am so blessed to be making music that I can share with you and that I can receive your love back. I am so healed by you!" Those sentiments were echoed earlier in the weekend when Gwen walked the red carpet with her niece Stella. In between posing for photos, the "Make Me Like You" singer shared how excited she was for the evening. "I have so many heroes. My mama. My dad. I said Pharrell," Gwen shared with E! News' Erin Lim. "He really has. There's been certain people that have pointed me in the right direction, reminded me how blessed I am. My children... They are all around me, my angels." And this could be only the beginning of a huge summer for The Voice coach. In addition to hitting the road with Eve for a summer tour, Gwen has a new duet with Blake coming out that she promises will be a special track. "I am excited because I never in my wildest dreams thought I would write a song with that guy," she joked. "He's so talented. He's an amazing writer. Every time I collaborate with anyone I feel like it's the best thing I've ever done. Whenever I collaborate, it lifts me." (Eonline)
Dixie Chicks Cover Beyonce's "Daddy Lessons" During Manchester Concert. Even musicians are sipping the Lemonade. The Dixie Chicks appeared in concert in Manchester, England, Saturday and decided to cover Beyonce's "Daddy Lessons" off her latest album, Lemonade. But when lead singer Natalie Maines missed her starting cue, she laughed it off. "I already messed this whole thing up," she joked. The band easily recovered thanks to some loud cheering and clapping from the audience. It seems as long as this crowd gets its fix of Queen Bey and the Dixie Chicks, they're pleased! Both the country music group and Beyonce are continuing their world tours, with the former staying in Europe while the latter makes her way around the U.S. Unfortunately, Nashville won't be getting the Bey treatment. E! News confirmed Friday that the "Formation" singer has canceled her upcoming Nashville concert. According to the stadium's Twitter, the concert was "postponed due to stadium construction." But a statement from a rep for the star didn't mention anything of the sort. "Following Wednesday's sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled," Bey's rep told E! News in a statement. "Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event." The rep added that there were no other changes made to Bey's tour schedule. Even though she has only given a few performances so far, Bey's concerts have become quite the star-studded affair. During her opening night in Miami, husband Jay Z, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Michelle Williams were all spotted watching in the front rows. Despite stirring up controversy with the album's accusatory lyrics, Bey put the rumors to rest by dedicating her performance of "Halo" to her "beautiful husband." 2016 has been full of ups and downs for the "Sorry" songstress, with police boycotting her performances as a result of her "Formation" music video and Super Bowl 2016 performance. Any controversy surrounding the star, however, hasn't gotten in the way of the Dixie Chicks. (Eonline)
O-Town's either stuck in the '90s or they just have a great sense of humor about their upcoming tour. The boy band's hitting the road with 98 Degrees, Dream and Ryan Cabrera for the nostalgic MY2K Tour and their rider is filled with throwback items like a '90s boombox "to play their sweet cassette collection" ... and a Nintendo 64 to "play GoldenEye." Other backstage demands include cases of local beer, assorted liquors, 5 cans of silly string and a back scratcher. Most bizarre on their list is definitely the kitty litter and wet cat food "for the stray cats the band takes in while on the road." That's gotta be code. (TMZ)
Justin Bieber Earns First Adult Contemporary No. 1 With 'Love Yourself'. Bieber's album "Purpose" yields yet another honor with the Ed Sheeran co-write. Justin Bieber continues to reach new chart highs, thanks to his album Purpose, as ballad "Love Yourself" becomes his first No. 1 on Billboard's Contemporary radio airplay chart (dated May 14). The song previously became his first No. 1 on the Adult Pop Songs airplay ranking and his third No. 1, all from Purpose, on the mainstream top 40-based Pop Songschart, following "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry." All three tracks from Purpose likewise became Bieber's first three No. 1s on the all-format airplay/sales/streaming-based Billboard Hot 100. "Mean" reigned upon its Sept. 19 debut at No. 1; "Sorry" led for three weeks; and "Love Yourself" ruled for two frames. Purpose debuted atop the Dec. 5 Billboard 200 albums chart (becoming his sixth No. 1 on the list) and has sold 1.7 million copies in the U.S. to date, according to Nielsen Music. Bieber's coronation on Adult Contemporary represents another milestone in his evolution, just shy of seven years after he made his Billboard chart debut at age 15. Says Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels, "Justin has transcended all formats with the music from Purpose. 'Love Yourself' is a wonderful song that has all ages weighing in." Notably, Ed Sheeran co-wrote "Love Yourself." Previously, his "Thinking Out Loud" was the last song by a solo male to reach No. 1 on Pop Songs, Adult Pop Songs and Adult Contemporary, more than a year ago. In between, among all acts, Taylor Swift's "Style" and Adele's "Hello" also scored such pop/adult airplay chart triples. All charts will update May 3 on Billboard.com. (Billboard)
Keith Urban Uses Personal Heritage to Push Country Limits in 'Wasted Time'. The track from his 'Ripcord' album was written mere weeks after his father's passing. When his father died on Dec. 5, 2015,Keith Urban was in the midst of working on what would become Ripcord, an album that's due May 6. That kind of event is profoundly emotional, typically inducing questions about the meaning of life, one's core beliefs and how to prioritize one's days. For Urban, that pondering was bound to make its way into the threads of Ripcord. "The impact that it had is just bringing me again back into the moment and the brevity of time," he says. "That theme is in a few songs on this record -- 'Wasted Time,' for sure, is sort of reflective. When life is its simplest, it's really at its best." Released to radio on March 29 through Play MPE, "Wasted Time" finds Urban doing what he seems to do best, pushing the boundaries of country music while balancing his appreciation for its foundations. But it avoids the moody, downcast atmosphere that would be expected from someone adjusting to life without his dad. Instead, the song begins with co-producer Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry) playing an EDM-like synthesized keyboard. It's a full 29 seconds before an electric guitar thread and the choppy sounds of ganjo percussion move the production to more familiar turf. By the time the journey ends, Urban manages to fold those jarring dance tones into his standard wheelhouse with a big singalong chorus, lots of six-string sounds and a cheery, nigh-inspirational message about life in the 21st century. "I always chuckle when people go, 'Oh, I'm trying to make a different record,' " says Urban. "Anybody can make a different record. But to try and make a different record that still has enough familiarity to keep you listening to it, and it still feels and sounds right -- that's what I'm always trying to balance in the studio." Wells played a big role in the "different" part of "Wasted Time" when they started writing the song in late January or early February. "Keith was actually the one really pushing to have it not sound like what you would think maybe it should sound like," says Wells. "He's like, 'Look, I've been making records for 20 years. I will still bring my thing to it, but in terms of what you do, Greg, I really want it to be fresh and kind of not what you would think is possible.' So I just went for it." The process started at Wells' Rocket Carousel Studio in Culver City, Calif., with pop songwriter James "JHart" Abrahart, who has cuts on current albums by Justin Bieber and Charlie Puth, bringing a third voice to the writing mix. Wells and Urban had met only briefly during the 1990s, when they both were part of a songwriting retreat at a French castle, so there was an introductory period before the work began in earnest. "We were kicking the can around as it were, and just getting to know each other a little bit, and then at some point I just started hearing this really funky, almost kind of Michael Jackson Off the Wall, very syncopated thing," recalls Wells. He developed a six-chord progression on the keyboard, Urban pulled a guitar from the studio wall, and the music began to take shape. The big-picture life stuff that his father's death triggered came tumbling out in their conversation as the Australian Urban, Canadian Wells and British-born, Atlanta-raised Abrahart found commonalities in their upbringing. "We were talking about some of the similar things we all did -- crazy shit, running around town, drinking too much, smoking too much, hanging out down by a river," says Urban. "Jay liked the title 'Wasted Time.' That's kind of what all that is, but it's when you're really living." Once the first verse was mostly finished, they took a break at a nearby Starbucks. When they got back to the music, Urban strapped on the guitar again and instantly found the chorus by changing direction. "It's a big, straight-up, three-chord, power-chord chorus in the tradition of The Who," he says. Wells recorded it all as they went along. Once the basic blueprint was laid, he focused on building the tracks while Urban and Abrahart concentrated on lyrics in the next room. Urban folded in a rope swing he and his friends played on in Caboolture, Queensland. And they dropped in two references to Guns N' Roses, name-checking "Sweet Child O' Mine" in the chorus and inserting a "Guns on the radio" line in the prechorus. "I remember us discussing whether we should clarify that we've got 'Guns N' Roses on the radio,' as opposed to we've got 'Guns on the radio,' because that might be a different, more of an NRA song," Urban says with a laugh. "We were like, 'Well, if someone thinks that, the chorus will clarify that here pretty soon.' " They didn't finish it that day, but some of Urban's original vocals would remain on "Wasted Time" all the way to the final product. Urban and Abrahart also worked on background vocals with Abrahart singing a third above the melody and both of them stacking extra vocals way off the mic to create a bigger sound. "That's a nice element to blend in," says Wells. "You don't really hear it, but if you took it out, you would miss it." Late in the track's development, Urban added ganjo, heightening the country quotient. "He grooves so hard when he plays that the banjo becomes like a sequencer almost," says Wells. "It masks a lot of the stuff that's going on behind it. But when that banjo went on, it not only sounded a billion times better, but it just felt like the song had come home in terms of the listener." Urban, meanwhile, flashed back to some of the top 40 clubs he had played in the early part of his career, remembering that even in the midst of the dance grooves, the crowd always responded if the DJ played John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy." Urban decided the ganjo was the right choice for the solo section. "That memory of 'Thank God I'm a Country Boy' has always stayed with me, and I thought this would be the hoedown moment right smack dab in the middle of this synth-based song," says Urban. Wells had him play for 20 minutes, then took the best pieces for the solo, including an inventive snippet of slide banjo. The final mix of "Wasted Time" was completed just days before it went to radio, with its bouncy rhythms and upbeat message synced to summer's playful energy. It already is No. 15 on the Country Airplay tally in its fourth charted week, paying homage discreetly to Urban's father. Not only has Robert Urban's death made Urban more philosophical, it also has brought a spotlight to his dad's influence on his music. "I'm becoming more and more aware of the rhythmic blood that flows through me because of my father, who was a drummer his whole life, and my grandfather, who played piano his whole life," says Urban. "My lineage is very rhythm-based, and I remember so much rhythm in our house from my dad tapping on the table to jingling his keys to tapping on the dashboard of the car. He was always in rhythm mode." "Wasted Time," meanwhile, recognizes the ticking of the clock as one of the rhythms of life. Urban views it metaphorically -- the song digs up joy from the past, but he doesn't have to go backward to find happiness in living in the moment. "Right now I feel my life is the best it has ever been," he says, "but probably because it feels like it's back to being in that place of enjoying life again. Which I did when I was a kid." Disney, Paramount and Warners Flunk GLAAD's LGBT Report Card. In its annual study of LGBT representation on film, the advocacy group calls on Disney to include gay characters in the 'Star Wars' universe and cites two Kevin Hart comedies as particularly offensive. When it comes to portraying LGBT people on screen, the Hollywood studios are falling behind the rest of the media, with three of the studios -- Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. -- all receiving failing grades, accord to GLAAD, the LGBT advocacy group, which released its annual studio report card Monday. The group's fourth annual Studio Responsibility Index found that of 126 releases from the major studios, only 22 of them, or 17.5 percent, included LGBT characters. That percentage was exactly the same as the percentage recorded in 2014. "Hollywood's films lag far behind any other form of media when it comes to portrayals of LGBT characters," Sarah Kate Ellis, GLAAD president and CEO said in releasing the report. "Too often, the few LGBT characters that make it to the big screen are the target of a punchline or token characters. The film industry must embrace new and inclusive stories if it wants to remain competitive and relevant." No studio received a rating of "Good" for its 2015 releases. Lionsgate (which included LBGT characters in 33 percent of its movies), Sony (19 percent), Universal (19 percent) and Fox (12 percent) received "Adequate" marks, while Warners (20 percent) and Paramount and Disney -- neither of which included any LGBT characters in any of their movies -- got "Failing" grades. While Disney focuses on family films, the report observed in its analysis, "As recent successful animated films and TV programs have shown (Oscar-nominated ParaNorman, Cartoon Network's Steven Universe), LGBT people appearing in "all-ages" programming -- animated or not -- is not the impossible notion it once was. LGBT people are already part of families and communities around the world, and films of all genres should reflect that." And given that Disney also releases the Marvel and LucasFilm movies, it also argued, "As sci-fi projects have the special opportunity to create unique worlds whose advanced societies can serve as a commentary on our own, the most obvious place where Disney could include LGBT characters is in the upcoming eighth Star Wars film. 2015's The Force Awakens has introduced a new and diverse central trio, which allows the creators opportunity to tell fresh stories as they develop their backstory. Recent official novels in the franchise featured lesbian and gay characters that could also be easily written in to the story." While the overall percentage of 2015 films with gay characters remained flat, the report pointed to "a noticeable resurgence of outright offensive depictions of LGBT, which relied on gay panic and defamatory stereotypes for cheap laughs. It cited two Kevin Hart comedies, Get Hard and The Wedding Ringer for containing "more blatant and incessant gay panic humor than we have seen in a Hollywood film in years" as well as Hot Tub Time Machine 2. Some of the studio's specialty film divisions turned in better showings, with Universal's Focus Features, which distributed The Danish Girl, showing LGBT characters in 30 percent of its movies, and Sony Pictures Classics, which handled Grandma, starring Lily Tomlin, checking in at 28 percent, and Roadside Attractions at 20 percent. Fox Searchlight had no LGBT characters among its 2015 releases. Of the 46 films released by the specialty labels, ten, or 22 percent, were LGBT-inclusive, a higher percentage than found among the studio films. That number was up from 10.6 percent in 2014. Looking at the studio releases, the basic numbers only told part of the story. The majority of LGBT characters in mainstream films, the report said, remain minor -- both in substance and screen time. Of the 22 LGBT-inclusive films, almost three quarters, 73 percent, of them include less than ten minutes of screen time for LGBT characters. "Not only must there be a larger number of LGBT roles, but they must be roles built with substance and purpose," the report said. GLAAD applied its Vito Russo Test, named after the late film writer and activist, to the characters who did appear on screen. The test looks at whether a film contains a character who is identifiably LGBT, whether the character is defined by more than just sexual orientation, and whether the character has a significant role in the film's plot. By that measure, GLAAD said only 8 of the 22 major studio films that contained LGBT characters, or 36 percent, passed the more rigorous test. That number was down from 55 percent in 2014. The report called for greater diversity, noting that the LBGT characters who did appear in studio release in 2015 were mostly white (73 percent) and male (77 percent). It also said that transgender representation in the mainstream movies was "shockingly low" with only one transgender character making a brief appearance in Warners' Hot Pursuit to serve as a punchline. Expressing frustration with the lack of representation in the 2015 films, GLAAD said that moving forward, that an "Adequate" rating wasn't good enough and that in next year's report, it plans to hold studios "to a higher standard to reflect the quality and quantity of LGBT representation we are now seeing in other media. Films must do better to include LGBT characters in roles directly tied to plot and which reflect the wide diversity of our community, including people of color, those living with disabilities, and a variety of geographical and ideological backgrounds." To illustrate the many offensive portrayals of LGBT in films over the past five years, GLAAD released the following video in September. The video, which is on Youtube, can also be found on this page. The verdict is in: Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will end up as the No. 7 comic book movie of all time at the worldwide box office to date, not accounting for inflation. Through Sunday, BvS -- which is all but done with its run -- has grossed $862.9 million globally, including $325.1 million in North America (37.7 percent of its total) and $537.8 million internationally (62.3 percent). It's likely to finish up in the $875 million range when all is said and done, not enough to change the order. The picture is different in North America, where BvS currently ranks as the No. 11 comic book movie, again not accounting for inflation. It could overtake Guardians of the Galaxy ($333.2 million) to rank as No. 10, and possibly Spider-Man 3 ($336.5 million), but it won't catch up with the recent Deadpool ($361.8 million). Overseas, it's the No. 7 superhero title. In terms of 2016 titles to date, BvS trails behind Disney's Zootopia, ($931.4 million and counting). Since BvS' launch in late March, there's been plenty of debate about the movie's performance, and, a best for the month of March. Warner Bros. is steadfast in proclaiming the tentpole, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, an enormous victory, saying it successfully launches the DC cinematic universe. (The next outing is director David Ayer's Suicide Squad on Aug. 5, while Snyder is in the midst of shooting the first Justice League.) BvS, costing at least $225 million to produce before marketing, has grossed notably more than Snyder's Man of Steel, which first introduced Cavill as the newest superman. Released in 2013, Man of Steel took in $668 million globally and $291 million domestically. "This is fantastic result, by any measure," said Warner Bros. domestic distribution Chief Jeff Goldstein. Some box-office analysts are more circumspect, noting that Dawn of Justice won't get to $900 million, much less $1 billion. "Still, outside of Christopher Nolan's two Dark Knight movies, and Tim Burton's Batman films when you adjust for inflation, this is the highest-grossing property in DC's bullpen thus far. It tops Man of Steel by more than $200 million," says analyst Jeff Bock. "So yes, BvS successfully relaunched DC's cinematic universe, but they are nowhere near Disney/Marvel in terms of critical reception and box office prowess. One can only hope that bigger and better is still on the way." Another insider says to become a member of the billion dollar club requires "a great release date, great reviews and solid social media buzz," a trifecta BvS failed to achieve. Internationally, BvS didn't break any records in Europe and Asia (it decidedly underwhelmed in China), but over performed in Latin America. The movie was roundly rejected by critics (it sports a 27 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes), while audiences only awarded it a B CinemaScore, a poor grade considering most superhero tentpoles have received some variation of an A grade. But says comScore's Paul Dergarabedian: "In what world is $862 million not a hit? Despite tepid reviews and mixed audience response, the power of the brand and the novelty of the two iconic super heroes going 'mano a mano' has delivered an unqualified global success. From a box office perspective this is a blockbuster hit no matter you slice it. "Now if you want to talk about the emotional enmity and critical lack of enthusiasm for the film, that's a separate and distinctive argument," Dergarabedian continued. "However that's not relevant to box office centric perspective that says this movie is a hit." BvS was originally supposed to open May 6, but relocated to the Easter corridor when it was revealed that Captain America: Civil War would open on the first weekend in May. (Hollywood Reporter)
German Box Office: Disney Rules With 'Captain America,' 'Jungle Book' and 'Zootopia'. Tom Tykwer's 'A Hologram for The King,' starring Tom Hanks, opens to $516,000 to take the number 5 spot. Tom Tykwer's A Hologram for The King started strongly in Germany, opening at number five in the weekend charts with a $516,000 gross on 325 screens, a promising launch for the drama starring Tom Hanks. But the top of the charts belonged to Disney. The latest Marvel outing, Captain America: Civil War, topped the German box office this weekend, and Jungle Book and Zootopia showed legs as they retained top five slots. Civil War opened to $8.1 million on 616 screens, the best opening for the Captain America franchise in the territory. The film's four-day opening weekend was stronger than the entire German run of Captain America: First Avenger, which topped out just under $5 million in the territory. Civil War is on track to quickly blow by Captain America: Winter Solider, which grossed just over $12 million in Germany two years ago. The bow is the biggest four-day opening in Germany so far this year and the third-largest for a Marvel film in the territory, behind Avengers and Iron Man 3. The film's success, coming after strong performances for Deadpool ($24.6 total gross) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($18.6 million) here early this year, is also a clear sign that comic book franchises have firmly established themselves in the often tricky German market. Disney's other two films in release here -- The Jungle Book and Zootopia -- finished second and fourth, respectively, on the weekend charts. Jungle Book has grossed $13.1 million to date in the territory, while Zootopia stands at $31.8 million, making it the number one film of the year so far in Germany. The third spot went to a German-language comedy, How to Be Single, from director Christian Ditter, which earned $792,000 in its fourth frame. Arguably, Disney's strongest competition in Germany was the weather. Sunshine and warm temperatures brought Germans out of the theaters and into cafes and beer gardens across the country. In total, 1.2 million movie tickets were sold over this past weekend, for a total box office of around $14.4 million. (Hollywood Reporter)
"Show Me the Money," Asian Producers, Sales Agents Tell Netflix, iTunes. They say a lack of transparency and advances makes them reluctant to provide content to digital platforms. Digital platforms, such as iTunes and Netflix, are undeniably here to stay, but Asian producers and content owners on Friday said returns are not known in advance and there is a lack of transparency. Panelists during a discussion at the Udine Far East Film Festival industry section said they want to see some dollars. "Show me the money," said Gilbert Lim of Thailand's Sahamongkolfilm. Lim cited iTunes' proposed deal with the company, the Thai film producer and distributor with the largest content library, before the Apple unit ended up saying that it has a policy of not going into exact details of how much of a return there was for the producer. "They said, give us your content, we're charging this amount of money, we'll send you the revenue, and let you know how much we've made," said Lim. "I said 'I'm not interested in that. I just want to know how much money we can make. Give me information about which films have done well, you don't even have to be specific, just give me an average.' But they said we don't tell. So, okay, if you're going to be private about it, I'm going to be private too, and you're not going to get my films as well." Online VOD platforms such as iTunes want film producers and distributors to deliver them content, but they are not willing to share information that they need, Lim said. "I'm not going to waste my time for $200 over two years for a title," Lim added. The VOD platforms' policy of not giving producers and content owners an advance is making them reluctant to give them content, and the VOD platforms' promise of revenue sharing doesn't fare well either. "I remember in mathematics, zero times zero equals zero," said Michael Werner of Fortissimo Films, which was the first arthouse film agent to license 60 titles to Netflix in 2012. "Show us some examples of films you've distributed where revenue was generated, and there's not. If there are zero transactions or zero subscribers, what we get is zero." And once a film is off of the frontpage of the digital platform, there is almost no way to get traffic to the film, left in the stacks with million other films just as in a library. "That's a key issue," said Werner. For low-budget films by unknown directors, the deals with digital platforms might be a way to go, but filmmakers have to create their own social media strategy, said Justin Diemen of Singapore's Aurora Media Capital. For big companies, licensing films to a digital platform is a business transaction, but for independent producers, they can wait to see the revenue. "It's a case of matching expectation levels," Diemen said. And VOD hasn't bridged the gap left by the decline of DVDs. Producers and distributors used to receive pre-sale revenue from DVDs in big markets like Germany, the U.K., or Japan. "DVD was the real bread in the sandwich," said Lim. Werner concurs. Sales agents and distributors used to curate films and build up a collection from the same directors to create DVD box sets. Now audiences are becoming their own curators, to create a collection by downloading online. "We were in nirvana before, and now we're in hell," he said. (Hollywood Reporter)

Julianna Margulies on the "Controversial" The Good Wife Series Finale -- Plus What's Next for Her. Julianna Margulies has spent seven years in the skin of Alicia Florrick on The Good Wife. That's 156 episodes bringing one character to life and it's not unfathomable that somebody would leave such an experience changed. For Margulies, she hopes a little bit of Alicia will come with her. "I think she's a smart woman. I'd love to take -- she has an incredible talent for not answering off the cuff, for really thinking things through and seeing both sides of the coin without spewing off something that would be offensive or get her in trouble. So I would love to bring a little bit of her with me in that way, but I also -- it'll be good to get back to being me," she told E! News with a laugh. We were on set for The Good Wife's penultimate episode and the cast was already looking towards the future, albeit in a bittersweet manner. What's next for the three-time Emmy winner? She's not sure, but one thing she said she can guarantee is her next role will not require "technical speak." "I'd just like to speak in a regular conversation without having to worry about tricky dialogue," she said. As for how she wants fans to remember the show, well, it comes down to how they were affected by it. "As inspiring, I guess. From the cases to having voices out there," she said, citing hot-button episode topics like gun control and same-sex marriage. "The Kings managed to touch on so many human assets of our lives rather than just the political, technical white collar crime, which are all important too, but I feel like they've really -- with humor, with drama, with an incredible cast that enabled these subjects to come alive and to speak to people. So I would hope that we walk away and people feel somewhat inspired." Alicia Florrick is the heart of The Good Wife and with that comes a lot of attention to her love life. She's been heavily tied to three characters in particular: Peter Florrick (Chris Noth), Will Gardner (Josh Charles) and Jason Carouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). But don't ask her to pick a favorite. "I am going to plead the fifth on that. I have been unbelievable fortune to have three very handsome, spectacular love interests and that secret will go to my grave," she said. When it comes to the final episode, airing Sunday, May 8, you better buckle up. "The only thing I can tease is that it will be suspenseful, it will... I think it's going to be very controversial and I do know one thing, which I won't say, but there will be a surprise guest," she teased. The Good Wife airs Sundays, 9 p.m. on CBS. (Eonline)
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan Celebrate Daytime Emmys Win on Live! With Kelly and Michael. Everyone loves a surprise! Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan walked out onto the set of Live! With Kelly and Michael hand-in-hand, but this time their free hands were full -- of Daytime Emmy Awards! The co-hosts both took home Emmys for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host, which they proudly displayed on Monday morning's episode. While discussing their exciting win, both admitted they had no idea they had won. "I didn't even realize that we won an Emmy until I started getting text messages from my friends," Kelly confessed. "You and I are in the same boat!" Strahan added, noting he was out celebrating a friend's birthday when he found out. Because the event was held in Los Angeles, neither Kelly nor Michael could attend. "I find when we tend to not go we tend to win," Kelly joked of their absence from the awards show. Their big win comes on the heels of the drama surrounding their morning talk show -- Michael's shocking departure. Although he was scheduled to stay through the summer, Michael has decided to make his last day Friday, May 13. He'll still make appearances on Good Morning America throughout the summer months but will start his full-time role in September. The timing of their win is certainly interesting given everything that has happened over the past few weeks. While we can't say for sure how their colleagues in the morning news game reacted, we did imagine what some of the many news people might have thought. Whether it was awkward, cringe-worthy or totally exciting, Kelly and Michael displayed nothing but happiness while on the air; they even proposed a toast to each other and the audience using their golden statues as makeshift glasses. Their (seemingly) normal interactions come after a week of awkward moments, where Kelly called out Michael for his divorces, made a quip about contract negotiations and when she finally returned to the show to deliver an emotional monologue, the camera never once panned to Michael, even when she mentioned him. Although they appear to be a united front once again, a source told E! News their relationship was strained long before Michael announced his departure. "Things have been tense with them behind the scenes for a long time," a source told E! News exclusively. "It's just more clear to the audience now." (Eonline)
Chris Evans Scares Elizabeth Olsen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, So Ellen DeGeneres Has Iron Man Return the Favor. Elizabeth Olsen should have known better. Prior to taping Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Chris Evans -- her co-star in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War -- hid in the bathroom of her dressing room and scared her silly. Ellen DeGeneres replayed the footage for them later on, but not before Olsen remembered that Evans had done something similar to Scarlett Johansson last year. "Why didn't I think of that?" she asked. Evans told the host, "How can you resist? The best part about your show is you endorse this type of behavior. I'm really, really am addicted to it." Thanks to DeGeneres' staff, Olsen was lured into the bathroom. "I was told that there were some QVC products in the bathroom to check out. I was like, 'Oh, is that why you did the thing with Julia Roberts the other day?'" the actress said. Little did she know, Evans was crouching down, ready to surprise her the moment she stepped through the door. After seeing her terrified reaction, Olsen laughed and said, "I have a really bad fight or flight response, I think." Later on, DeGeneres asked the co-stars about romance rumors. "We've heard that," Evans admitted. "Well, we've been dating for like secretly for the last three years," Olsen said, joking, "We're actually engaged." When reports first surfaced that they were seeing each other romantically, Evans sent Olsen a text saying, "Hey, guess what? Apparently we're dating." Olsen replied, "Oh, my God! That's really exciting for us." Evans joked that they dated "real on the low" to avoid suspicion. DeGeneres said they "seem compatible," to which Olsen replied, "Maybe we should." "I don't know. I'm just saying, think about it. Don't just poo-poo it. I mean you're both single," DeGeneres told the co-stars. "If they're saying it, maybe somebody sees something you don't." Soon after, DeGeneres shared a picture of Evans' dog, Dodger. "I love his puppy. That's how strong our relationship is -- I've met your puppy," Olsen said. Evans rescued him last year after shooting a scene for a movie in an animal shelter. "You kind of walk in and you say, 'Are these all real shelter dogs?'" he recalled. "I found one that just didn't belong there; none of 'em [do]." "He's adorable," DeGeneres said. "He's not as cute as my dog, but he's adorable." Before he knew what happened, Iron Man burst through DeGeneres' coffee table and scared Evans. "You got me. Could we play it back?" he said after settling down. "I really want to see it." Captain America: Civil War is in theaters Friday. (Eonline)
Game of Thrones Finally Answered the Jon Snow Question (and Killed a Few People, As Usual). Caution: Do not read any further if you haven't watched the latest episode of Game of Thrones, "Home." He's ALIIIIIIVE! As if Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was ever going to stay dead, you guys. Apparently, this whole time, all we needed was for Melisandre to rub her hands all over Jon's body and speak a bunch of gibberish before our beloved lord's commander of the night's watch would just perk right back up again. After Davos begged her to work her black magic, Melisandre -- who had returned to her usual youth after last week's twist -- cleaned all the blood off of Jon's wounds, rubbed him all over, and said a few magic words. Of course, it didn't kick in until everyone had left the room, but at least he took a breath there at the very end of Sunday night's episode. It was about time, too, because we had started to feel really low after a few key things we witnessed Sunday evening. Things started off incredibly promising with possibly our favorite thing we've ever seen on this show: Young Hodor! His name was Willis, you guys! He could talk! And he was hanging out with Ned, Benjen, and Lyanna, and they were all just having a great time. We were just as annoyed as Bran was when the vision suddenly ended, though happy to finally have Bran back after all this time away. Then, things went downhill all thanks to one Ramsay Bolton. If we didn't already know he was the human equivalent of walking barefoot across a sea of Legos with bare feet while stabbing yourself repeatedly in the eyes with an ice pick while you're also on fire, we do now. Little Asshole Bolton first had to defend the loss of Sansa and Theon to his father, and pointed out that as long as Jon Snow is still alive, Roose will never have full control of the north. (Jon was still dead at the time, but they didn't know it, obviously.) Roose then received the news that his wife had just given birth to a son, and while he made sure to assure Ramsay that he is truly his first born, Ramsay was having none of it. He straight up stabbed his father to death right there, and he wasn't even done. He tracked down Lady Walder and her new baby, and FED THEM TO HIS HOUNDS. A NEW MOTHER AND HER BABY. TO THE HOUNDS. BABY. HOUNDS. You get it. We still haven't gotten over it, and we probably won't. Ugh. Just so much ugh. (Eonline)
Khloe Kardashian Says She's Done with Caitlyn Jenner on KUWTK Premiere: 'I Don't Have a Relationship with Her'. It's all about new beginnings for everyone this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. On Sunday's premiere of season 12, Khloe Kardashian prepares for Lamar Odom's hospital release, while also juggling her New York City press tour. Kim Kardashian West begins to settle into her new role as a mother of two, and Kourtney Kardashian adjusts to life with ex Scott Disick living in his new house next door. In Los Angeles, Khloe, 31, is preparing for Odom's departure from the hospital after his near-fatal overdose in October by furnishing his new home. She explains that once he's out, he'll need a warm and peaceful place to recover, but she can't do this alone. Kris Jenner steps in to help, because Khloe will be away for the remaining week on a press tour in New York City. "I might not always show my appreciation as well as I should, but I do appreciate my mom," Khloe tells the camera. "I know she goes above and beyond in everything that she does and I know how much work this all was to get Lamar's house together, and I'm incredibly grateful. I don't know what I would do without her." Odom, 36, isn't the only one getting a new house. Disick, 32, has purchased a new place closer to Kourtney and their three kids. When Khloe comes over to check out his new place, Disick admits to her that he's depressed living alone in such a big house and that he isn't focusing on finding a new girlfriend anytime soon. During her visit, Khloe tells Disick that she walked in on Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna drinking at her house. "There was alcohol everywhere," she tells Disick. "He's having the time of his life ... I told him 'you've burned your last bridge.'" Later in the episode, Disick asks Kris, 60, and Kourtney, 37, to meet him at a home goods store so he can find the right appliances for his new home. He explains that he wants to throw a dinner party for the entire family. The entire outing was a bit awkward and Disick felt that Kourtney didn't really care to be there. "When it comes to Scott, I'm not looking to get back together anytime soon," Kourtney tells the camera. "I don't think I'm giving any false hope." Aside from Disick trouble, Kourtney was dealing with press nerves. She was prepping for an interview on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show, after not doing press for almost three years. The show winds up going off without a hitch, even after Ellen DeGeneres awkwardly asks about Kourtney's fling with Justin Bieber, 22. Later in the episode, Khloe is off on her press tour in NYC for her new book, Strong Looks Better Naked, and receives a series of angry texts from Caitlyn Jenner concerning an interview. Khloe had gone on the Howard Stern Show and discussed her issues with Caitlyn's transition, which didn't go over well with the 66-year-old. An irate Khloe calls Kris and freaks out claiming that she was done with Caitlyn. "Mom can you handle this?," the 31-year-old asks Kris. "She can tell me to f--- off all she wants, I don't have a relationship with her. I'm done." Later, Kris tries to smooth things over between the two, and calls Caitlyn. "This is not intentional, you're making this so hard," Kris tearfully tells Caitlyn. "You were her father. You were her dad since she was five years old. Give her a break." The premiere ends with one more family altercation. In the final scene, all of the girls-minus Kendall Jenner, are sitting around eating when they find out that Disick has gone missing. He had planned to have the whole family over at his new house for dinner, but now he isn't answering the phone. Kourtney tells her mom that he has been hanging out with Kylie's boyfriend Tyga all day and night and admits that she wanted to call the rapper and scream at him. She feels that Tyga should know better than to be a bad influence on Disick and that this whole ordeal has left a bad taste in her mouth. "It pisses me off that people like Tyga, who know better, who are close to our family, that don't just find some other friends, she says. Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Sundays (9 p.m. ET) on E! (People)
ESPN Explains Why Curt Schilling Edited Out of '30 For 30' Episode. "Btw, please don't make me victim. You saw it, I lived it, still got the ring. This is what happens when you embarrass powerful people," the former pitcher wrote in response to the edit. Curt Schilling and his fans are not happy that his "bloody sock game" was edited out of a 30 for 30that re-aired on Sunday night. Schilling's performance in the 2004 American League Championship Series, when his Red Sox ultimately beat the Yankees to advance to the World Series, was not a part of the documentary "Four Days In October." Schilling's sock became bloody during the victorious game when sutures on his ankle became irritated. On Sunday night, Schilling cried foul over what he saw as a slap in the face stemming from the fact that he was recently fired by the network over a controversial social media post. "Wow, full one year complete fabrication to defame greatest QB, now omitting about 4 hours of a game I think I played in. Hmm #integritymuch?," Schilling tweeted. "Btw, please don't make me victim. You saw it, I lived it, still got the ring. This is what happens when you embarrass powerful people." Yes, the repeated episode was edited, but for time, not out of spite, ESPN said in a statement. "When a live event runs long, it's standard procedure to shorten a taped program that follows. In this case, we needed to edit out 1 of the film's 4 segments to account for the extra length of the softball game," ESPN said in the statement. The 49-year-old former pitcher sent out numerous tweets over his displeasure with the edit. "For sale, never used, rarely worn ring from player who didn't actually have anything to do with getting it," Schilling tweeted along with a picture of his 2004 World Series ring. Schilling was fired by ESPN last month after he allowed someone to post an anti-transgender meme on his Facebook page, which he then commented in support of before he deleted the entire post. "ESPN is an inclusive company," the network said in a statement when Schilling was fired. "Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated." That was not the first time Schilling found himself in trouble with the network over his social media activity. Last year, Schilling was suspended from ESPN's baseball coverage after posting a tweet comparing Muslims to Nazis. Following his termination, Schilling in a SiriusXM interview criticized ESPN and said he was "not transphobic." The former pitcher called ESPN a "company where the rules are different based completely and solely on your perspective and your beliefs, [sharing opinions] didn't work. They didn't like that." Viacom's Logo to Air Eurovision Song Contest Live in U.S. for First Time. "The Eurovision Song Contest is now a truly global phenomenon," says executive supervisor Jon Ola Sand. The Eurovision Song Contest, the pan-European musical competition known to produce kitschy acts, will air live in the U.S. for the first time ever on Viacom's Logo, the European Broadcasting Union said Monday. Logo, which is available in nearly 50 million homes, will show the 61st annual competition's grand final on Saturday May 14 starting at 3 p.m. ET. It will also stream it in the U.S. on LogoTV.com and the LogoTV mobile app. This year's Contest will be held in Stockholm, after Sweden's Mans Zelmerlow won last year's competition with his song "Heroes," with the semifinals on May 10 and 12 followed by the grand final on May 14. Competing will be the 20 qualifiers from the semis, the big 5 countries of France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K. and reigning champion Sweden. "We are thrilled that the world's biggest entertainment show is being broadcast live in one of the biggest TV markets for the very first time," said Eurovision Song Contest executive supervisor Jon Ola Sand. "The Eurovision Song Contest is now a truly global phenomenon, and we are extremely happy that U.S viewers now get to join those all over Europe, Australia and Asia in experiencing the grand final of the world's longest running annual TV music competition." The Contest will also be seen in the 42 participating nations, as well as in China, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Kosovo and Portugal. The Eurovision Song Contest reached nearly 200 million television viewers worldwide last year. The 61st edition celebrates the theme "Come Together." The Contest's voting rules have been changed this year. It will now see votes split, with each country's jury vote cast first. Viewer votes across all countries will be added in later and announced at the end. The idea behind the change is that a song that scored poorly with the judges could still jump should the public really like it. In the past, the winner has often been known long before voting announcements came to a close. (Perez Hilton)
