Kristen Stewart Reunites With Jodie Foster for Her Movie Mom's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony. Kristen Stewart wasn't about to miss out on her movie mom Jodie Foster's big day! The 26-year-old actress presented her Panic Room co-star with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Wednesday. Stewart was just 11 when Foster played her mother in the 2002 thriller, but she's remained close to the Oscar winner, 53, ever since. Foster joked to E! News she was worried her onscreen daughter would say no to taking part in her ceremony, which is a very big deal to the multi-hyphenate. She began her career as an actress at the tender age of three, but it was important to her not to get a star in her name until it was recognizing her as a director. And Foster, who most recently directed Julia Roberts and George Clooney in the upcoming dramatic thriller Money Monster, has clearly achieved great success on both sides of the camera. Stewart might like to follow in Foster's career footsteps someday. Back in 2014, she made her directorial debut with her friend Sage Galesi's country-rock band Sage + the Saints' "Take Me to the South" music video. "I've been saying I want to direct movies since I was 10 years old," she told Rolling Stone. "And then I started making movies and working with such incredible people that I realized what I was up against. So it was like, no way, now I'm gonna get more attention than I ever should just because of who I am." At the end of her Rolling Stone interview, Stewart quipped that it was "so much nicer doing interviews as not what I usually am," meaning an actress. As Foster told E! News before, she was "surprised" her Panic Room co-star became an actress, "because she really doesn't have the stereotypical personality." "She's a great person, and I'm not surprised she's gone on to to do great things," Foster said. "But I am surprised she is an actress." As Foster proves, though, it's possible to wear more than one hat in Hollywood! (Eonline)

Shay Mitchell on Her Sexuality: "I'm Never Going to Label Myself." Shay Mitchell is baring all! Gracing the June cover of Cosmopolitan, the Pretty Little Liars star looks flawless in a red cutout one-piece. The actress gets candid about a number of topics, ranging from social media to her sexual orientation. Shay, who has a multi-million following across Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter, carefully crafts her public image via various platforms. "My Instagram is like an art gallery -- no blurry photos," she says. "Come to Snapchat and see it all being made." For fans looking to see the real Shay, she adds, "Instagram is the appetizer. Snapchat is the meal." The 29-year-old plays a lesbian on PLL, but in real life, her sexuality is a bit more fluid. "When I started, people were like, 'What are you?' I'm like, right now I'm dating a guy. I don't know what it's going to be in three years. You love who you love: black, white, polka-dot. That's what my dad always said. I'm never going to label myself," she says. "I could be 50 and dating a woman and then what? I said I was straight and now I'm not?" One thing is for sure: Shay knows about the value of hard work. Before she hit it big on TV and in movies like Mother's Day, she would go on auditions during the day and work bottle service at night. "I have so much respect for waiters, waitresses, girls who work in clubs," she says. "It's tough. I'd have old guys saying 'You're so pretty. Why are you working?' or 'Come live with me, honey.' Like, what, so I can be taken care of? That's the last thing that I want. What I wanted to say was, '[I work] so I will never end up with someone like you.'" As for life after PLL? Shay's sights aren't limited to winning an acting award. "I'd rather have a company. I don't want to be dependent on a call from my agent -- taking projects I'm not OK with because I need to," she says. "To be honest, winning an Oscar is not one of my goals." You tell 'em girl! For more of Shay's interview, pick up Cosmopolitan's June issue, on stands May 10. (Eonline)

Cameron Diaz Calls Husband Benji Madden This Unique Nickname. Cameron Diaz has replaced "bae" with a cutting edge new term of endearment. The married star, who wed guitarist Benji Madden over a year ago in January 2015, revealed the personal nickname she has for her beloved. Hey Cameron, can you spell it for us? "I call him a lot of names," she joked to Ellen DeGeneres during an interview on her show. "'My Buh.' You know things start with 'baby' then it goes to 'bae' and then it goes all the way down to like 'buh' and soon I'm just going to go 'ugh' and he's going to know that I'm talking to him." All jokes aside, the bestselling author has learned quite a few lessons about herself thanks to her new hubby -- some for better or worse. "Someone asked me, 'What's your favorite thing about being married?' And I was like, well I just learned so much about myself. I didn't know these things and I was like I would have never known them if I didn't meet my husband who helped me," she explained. "They're like, 'What's the worst think about being married?' Well, I learned all these things about myself that I wish I never learned about myself and I wouldn't have known them if I didn't get married. You know so it's like this double-edged sword." Despite the tough love, Diaz is thrilled to have Madden by her side on the journey of life. "I'm just so grateful for it because I couldn't do it without my husband," she gushed. "I couldn't do it with anybody else except for him." (Eonline)

Candace Cameron Bure Opens Up About Past Eating Disorder and Is "Honored" to Help Others. For Candace Cameron Bure, food used to be her best friend and her worst enemy. Now the Fuller House star and The View co-host is using her past negative experiences to help others recover from eating disorders. The 40-year-old actress talked about her years-long battle with bulimia this week at a panel in New York for the Eating Recovery Center to mark the first ever Eating Recovery Day. 'I'm honored to be a spokesperson for it because I know how it affects someone firsthand," she told E! News. "This is my story to fans and the people who follow me and ask what they can do and where they can go. To be able to offer a place for people means the world to me." "We all have to eat food and so, it's nothing something that we can just stop and eliminate from our lives and so, it is different from an alcohol addiction or drug addiction because those things, we don't have to partake in," she said. "But food, we have to eat, so we need to learn how to still be able to eat and make it a part of our lives, to live and be healthy but also deal with the mental illness aspect of it." In her 2011 book Reshaping It All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness, Candace revealed she first battled bulimia at age 19 when she was living in Montreal and engaged to her husband, Russian hockey player Valeri Bure. The two wed in 1996 and share a daughter and two sons. "I was nineteen, engaged and living with Val -- as a good Christian girl ought not to do," she wrote in her book. Perhaps if I had been living and walking in faith, I wouldn't have started the cycle of binging and purging," she wrote." She also recalled how she "did fit the role of DJ Tanner," who "once went on a crash diet herself." In a 1990 episode of Full House, Candace's character, DJ, starves herself after becoming self-conscious about her best friend Kimmy Gibbler's slimmer figure and passes out after over-exercising. The actress says in her book her bulimia "had nothing to do with body image or trying to lose weight but had everything to do with adjustment and fear." She said that as a soon-to-be "hockey wife" in a "foreign city," she felt lonely at home while her fiance played away games and filled that void with by binging on and purging food. The actress wrote in her book that it was her father who discovered her eating disorder, which broke her heart. "It was the first catalyst," Candace told E! News. "I still needed a little bit more help beyond that because I was so fearful of disappointing my parents that that's what ignited me to...admit that I had a problem with it. But I needed further help." Candace said at the Eating Recovery Day panel that her eating disorder resurfaced, worse than ever, several years later. She has said she ultimately recovered with the help of friends, family and her faith in God. Candace had written in her book that her brother and Growing Pains alum Kirk Cameron, a devout Christian, gave her a copy of Ray Comfort's evangelism book The Way of the Master, which inspired her. Candace, who is also devout in her Christian faith, wrote she lost 25 pounds after Full House and added that she feels better than ever. (Eonline)

After Taylor Swift attended the Met Gala solo -- and engaged in an epic dance-off with actor Tom Hiddleston that went viral -- fashionistas were buzzing that Swift and her DJ beau, Calvin Harris, split. Swift was also seen following the gala hanging with Hiddleston again at Up&Down in a VIP section with the band Haim. But others insisted the "Shake It Off" singer and Harris are "definitely still together" -- he's just "not the kind of guy that goes to a lot of events." Yeah, Vegas DJs hate crowds. (Page Six)

Tony Stark and Pepper Potts forever! Robert Downey Jr. joked during The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, May 4, that he'd love to hook up with his former costar Gwyneth Paltrow again. "I guess I can dream a little bit. My free pass is -- because her and [my wife] Susan are such good friends -- is Paltrow. I gotta get her back in these movies so I can make out with her onscreen again," the Captain America: Civil War actor, 51, said during the SiriusXM broadcast. He added of Susan: "She could care less." Even so, the actor admitted that there's a catch: He and Paltrow could only kiss if they were "rolling on a take." Downey and Paltrow, who is currently dating producer Brad Falchuk, played a couple in the first three Iron Man movies. Paltrow doesn't appear in the newest Marvel Universe flick, Captain America: Civil War, but that doesn't mean Pepper is gone for good. "She's coming back," Downey said. "We need her." The Sherlock Holmes star and Susan married in August 2005 and are parents of son Exton, 4, and daughter Avri, 18 months. (Downey also is dad of 22-year-old Indio from a previous marriage to Deborah Falconer.) "I'm very happily married," Downey told Stern, noting that he doesn't try to find out what his ex-girlfriends are up to now. One of those ex-girlfriends is Sarah Jessica Parker. The two dated for seven years before splitting in 1991. On Wednesday, Stern revealed that the Sex and the City alum left the SirusXM building right before Downey arrived. Downey replied: "I would have loved to have seen her!" Last year, Downey told Stern that he reunited with Parker in NYC and revealed how much the actress was there for him through his past struggles with addiction. "I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that didn't jibe with Sarah Jessica, because it is the furthest thing from what she is. She provided me a home and understanding. She tried to help me. She was so miffed when I didn't get my act together," he told Stern at the time. "Private stuff aside, we were able to spend some time together, and it was really cool." Helena Bonham Carter: I Wanted To Stick 'Handle With Care' Tape on My Forehead After Split from Tim Burton. Helena Bonham Carter admits she felt "fragile" after splitting from director Tim Burton after more than a decade together-and that's okay. The actress, 49, opened up about her 2014 breakup in the May edition of UK Harper's Bazaar, admitting that despite the amicable end to their 13-year romance, the breakup still had a deep emotional impact. "You go through massive grief-it is a death of a relationship, so it's utterly bewildering. Your identity, everything, changes," Carter, 46, said, according to the Evening Standard. The Alice Through The Looking Glass star admitted she considered sticking "handle with care" tape across her forehead following the split to warn people "I'm not myself at the moment, so be careful." "There's a great quote I've stuck next to the kettle. It's from Alice: 'I can't explain myself ... because I'm not myself,'" she continued. "Everyone always says you have to be strong and have a stiff upper lip, but it's okay to be fragile." Fast-forward to 2016 and Carter is now in a very different place. In fact, she's relishing her post-Burton life as a chance to renew and refresh. "I feel very self-sufficient at the moment," Carter explained. "I'm just going to work out who I am on my own and it's quite liberating." She also hasn't ruled out working with the Beetlejuice director again, and has remained a close friends with him despite the split. "We really do get on, so that's good," she added about Burton, 57, with whom she has two children, 12-year-old son Billy and 8-year-old daughter Nell. "I understand him very well and he understands me." "It might be easier to work together without being together anymore," she joked. "He always only cast me with great embarrassment." (People)

Johnny Carson suffered from narcissistic personality disorder -- and so do Alec Baldwin, Allen and Charlie Sheen, Carson's longtime lawyer Henry Bushkin says. Bushkin became an armchair expert in narcissism after the 2013 publication of his best-selling "Johnny Carson" biography when readers slammed Carson's mother Ruth as "evil." With the help of psychiatrist Dr. Arthur Malin, Bushkin recently wrote a 17-page essay, "Mommy Dearest," in which he says, "Carson himself described Ruth as a 'cold bitch.'" When she died, Johnny sang "Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead" and didn't go to her funeral. Bushkin "diagnosed" Baldwin, Allen and Sheen, he told me, because the three have each had "a distorted and damaged relationship with their mothers," as described in his essay, available to download from Amazon. He writes: "We've all heard the story of how [Alec Baldwin] was thrown off a plane for refusing to turn off his iPad or put on his seat belt... most folks who travel, we turn off our electronics and put on our seat belts when we are told to do so. Not Baldwin. His blatant disregard for rules is evident." As for Allen, "[He] justified marrying his [girlfriend's daughter Soon-Yi] by saying, 'The heart wants what it wants. There's no logic to those things.' It didn't matter that she was his wife's [actually Allen never married Mia Farrow] daughter or his son's sister. He wanted her so he married her despite what the rest of society or his own children had to say about it." Finally, "Sheen has had as many failed marriages as Johnny. He's roared like a tornado through three marriages and if he's anything like Johnny, it won't be long until he's on the lookout for wife No. 4." Bushkin told me: "You realize what a–holes some of these guys can be, and how the apple never falls far from the tree." (Page Six)

Demi Lovato Slams Internet Trolls in This Lengthy Late Night Twitter Rant. Demi Lovato is so done with the nonsense. In a lengthy late night Twitter rant, the "Confident" singer held little back as she wrote cryptic message after cryptic message about those who plague her social media with negative commentary. "Sometimes there's more to the story," she began subtly. "Sometimes there's more shit going on than you see. Maybe you DON'T know every aspect of my life so maybe you shouldn't assume you know. *middle finger emoji*" "Maybe my midnight rants are a part of my bipolar disorder. Can't change being crazy... But you can press unfollow," she continued. Ultimately, Lovato revealed the heart of the problem -- she is feeling misunderstood, particularly by those who continuously harass her on her public platforms. "I rant online because people assume they know things and their entitlement to know makes me feel obligated to defend myself," she declared. "Imagine the love of ur life/biggest crush finding out u spend time on the internet commenting negative shit about celebrities.. Embarrassed?" "Imagine your grandparents finding out you spend your free time being an internet troll to celebrities you don't even know," she added. "Or imagine telling your future children how you spent more time cyber bullying strangers than you did building a better future for them." By nearly 1 a.m., the songstress headed off to bed with one final thought. "I'd rather annoy people with my honesty and loud opinions than stay silent and be fake as f--k. #lasttweetofthenight #goingtosleep" Meanwhile, on Snapchat, she reminded her fans that she is not someone's prey. "I hear haters because I am human. I react because I am human," she wrote in text against a black backdrop. "I am NOT a victim. I don't want your sympathy and I don't need anyone's empathy." While it's still relatively unclear what exactly triggered the tirade, Lovato recently piqued public attention with a photo of herself at the 2016 Met Gala Monday standing near Nicki Minaj. "This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met #cool #sof--kingawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood" she captioned the shot on her Instagram account Tuesday night. Was the #whatsgood hashtag a reference to Minaj's jab at Miley Cyrus during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards? It certainly sounds like it. As the photo stirred some headlines, Lovato latter added extra explanation. "p.s. some of y'all need to learn how to take a joke... I'm obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life." (Eonline)

50 Cent just went above and beyond to make good with the 19-year-old man he mocked on social media -- he's donated $100,000 to Autism Speaks ... TMZ has learned. Fiddy referred to the video he posted of Andrew Farrell, saying, "I want to turn this misunderstanding into an understanding. There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support." Farrell's family had asked him to donate $10k to the autism advocacy group -- so ya can't say 50 did the bare minimum in making his mea culpa. The rapper added, "I am calling on my fellow musicians, actors, entertainers and all others who may not have fully considered this cause to join together to help in any way they can." (TMZ)

The man who called 911 in Prince's death could face criminal prosecution if he was expecting to get paid for helping the singer ... and it all comes down to the pills in his backpack. The lawyer for Andrew Kornfeld -- whose dad runs a rehab facility in Marin County, California -- says his client is entitled to immunity from prosecution because he was acting as a Good Samaritan. The issue -- Andrew had a synthetic opiate in his backpack, and he's not a doctor. Our sources say investigators are keenly interested in knowing why Andrew brought the pills. They are often used to wean people off drugs like Percocet -- the opiate which fueled Prince's addiction. Andrew's attorney points to a Minnesota law that protects people who might be committing drug crimes from being prosecuted if they call 911. The idea is to give people an incentive to help others in dire need without fear of prosecution. Here's the problem. Under the law, the person who calls 911 does NOT get immunity if they receive or expect to receive compensation for picking up the phone and making the call. It's unclear if Andrew and his dad were going to get paid, but the recovery center charges for its services, so it's a good bet they were expecting compensation. As for the drugs in the backpack ... even if Andrew's dad prescribed the drug for Prince, our DEA sources say it's illegal for anyone to take the drugs across state lines and deliver drugs in states where the doctor is not board certified. Oscar winner Paul Haggis finalized his divorce, but his now ex-wife will continue reaping the benefits of his success. The "Crash" director reached his divorce settlement with Deborah ... and according to the docs, he'll pay her $20k a month in spousal support. The exes have a 17-year-old son, and Paul will pay another $5k per month for child support, and foot the bill for the kid's schooling -- high school and college. Additionally, the settlement calls for Deborah to get a hefty slice of Haggis' income -- 20% of anything he makes over $1.2 million per year. That's on top of the monthly $20k check. Paul's walking away with one of their 2 NYC SoHo apartments and 3 Florida properties. (TMZ)

Ryan Reynolds Suggests Deadpool DVD as a Solution for Erectile Dysfunction in Parody Ad. Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool might be more dangerous than you anticipated. In a new ad for Deadpool's release on Blu-ray, Reynolds provides the voice over for his character's rendezvous with a new onscreen girlfriend. "Don't let age, Mother Nature or groin trauma tell you what to do. #Deadpole," he posted with the video on Twitter. "You're closer now than ever," he says as the video begins. "Deadpool on Blu-ray helps you be ready anytime. Ask your doctor if your heart is healthy enough for Deadpool on Blu-ray." The ad features all the stereotypical images from commercials for erectile dysfunction ads like a couple working on a project together, going for a walk and preparing a meal together. Naturally, Reynolds takes it to the next level by adding some phallic imagery such as bananas. Unlike normal ads, which tend to leave out any sexual activity, Reynolds' Deadpool winds up in a bathtub with his naked partner. Be careful before viewing Deadpool on Blu-ray, though, because it has some worrisome side effects. "If you experience joint pain, easy bruising, vomiting or clay-colored stool, stop watching Deadpool immediately," Reynolds warns. "If you experience hair loss, skin sores and irritability, you may actually be Deadpool." Fortunately, those who actually purchase the DVD will experience at least one positive effect. "If you experience an erection lasting more than four hours -- you're welcome," he ends the promo. Deadpool was a roaring box office success, almost immediately receiving a sequel that will have Reynolds starring once again as the crude, dirty antihero. The marketing campaign ahead of the movie's Valetine's Day weekend release involved Reynolds pretending to be a bachelor on The Bachelor, teaming up with a group of little kids who were dressed as X-Men and so much more. All of it obviously worked, as it earned more than $761 worldwide. It's time to suit up, Reynolds! (Eonline)

Angelina Jolie is part of another power duo. A source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly that the actress, 40, has "struck up a close friendship" with a British House of Lords member, Baroness Arminka Helic. The insider explains that the Unbroken director, who moved to London with husband Brad Pitt and their six children in February, "is readying herself for what could be a full-time commitment with the British government." Adds the source, "Arminka helps Angelina make decisions about her next political move. Angie considers her a mentor." The political pals' relationship dates back to 2012, when Helic was an aide to British foreign secretary William Hague. The actress and Hague partnered on an anti–sexual violence initiative that year. In September 2015, Jolie and Helic, 48, co-wrote Times asking the world to stand in solidarity to help Syrian refugees. Now, as Jolie is preparing for a greater role in the political realm, she is trusting her new council entirely -- and including her in family events. The source adds that Helic even spends time with Jolie and Pitt's six children. (US Weekly)

Donald Trump tells TMZ Sports ... he will NOT attend the Canelo Alvarez vs. Amir Khan fight in Vegas on Saturday ... turning down a personal invitation from the fight's promoter Oscar De La Hoya. De La Hoya had invited Trump to the fight on Wednesday -- and ODLH had told media Trump had confirmed he would attend. But Trump tells us ... it ain't happening, he will NOT be at the fight. Oscar may have been baiting Trump because the fight is a Mexican vs. a Muslim -- and the crowd may not have been the friendliest to the controversial candidate. (TMZ)

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Kissing Just Stole All of Kendall Jenner's Thunder on Instagram. Your first love will conquer all...or at least it will conquer all on Instagram! Case in point: the throwback photo Justin Bieber posted in March of him kissing Selena Gomez has officially become the most liked photo on Instagram, outperforming Kendall Jenner's hair of hearts photo that reigned No. 1 since last year. The Biebs' photo has received about 3,569,000 double-taps in the last two months, defeating Kendall's by about 7,000. This should really come as no surprise, though, considering it received close to 350,000 likes in less than 15 minutes of him posting it. He shared the photo with the simple caption, "Feels," and it has likely gained traction considering he and Gomez broke up two years beforehand, in 2014. Not to mention, Gomez herself liked the photo. Of course the post sparked rekindled relationship rumors shortly thereafter, which were only heightened when SelGo attended Justin's Los Angeles concert a few weeks later. In fact, sources tell E! News the Biebs had originally planned a major date night for is ex-girlfriend following the show. "Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of Titanic for Selena because he is trying to get back with her," an insider told us at the time. However, things didn't go as planned and Bieber ended up "calling it off." "I don't know why he didn't go through with it, and I also don't know if he ever even told Selena about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again," the source further explained. "He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started." For now, it appears Jelena fans will just have to be happy with their favorite couple's love lasting only on Instagram. (Eonline)

Kristen Wiig Has Steamy Makeout Session With Rumored Boyfriend Avi Rothman in Hawaii. It looks like Kristen Wiig is enjoying some quality time in the arms of a new beau. The Ghostbusters star was spotted relaxing on the beaches of Kauai, Hawaii, alongside a handsome brunette gentleman who has been identified as Avi Rothman. The pair were both in their swimwear and seemed to have enjoyed some time in the water before heading back to the sand to sneak in a steamy makeout session. Wiig and her rumored boyfriend weren't shy about flaunting their PDA, wrapping each other up in their arms and sneaking in as many kisses as they could while on their tropical getaway. "They've been secretly dating for a few months," a source tells People. "He's her boyfriend. They're really happy together." The actress has managed to keep her personal life pretty private, so it's definitely a rare sight to see her close and cozy with a love interest. Back in September 2014, E! News trumped reports that claimed Wiig was dating Scott Speedman, with a source telling us at the time that the Bridesmaids star and the Felicity alum "have been friends for a long time," but that's it. Wiig's last public relationship was with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti. The duo stepped out for the first time as a couple in early 2012 and split after a little over a year of dating. (Eonline)

Rap superstar Kanye West, his wife Kim Kardashian and members of her reality-show-star family are the latest celebrities to visit Havana. They stopped at the Museum of Rum on Wednesday, stepping out of a hot-pink antique American convertible as they snapped selfies and were recorded by a television crew following them around. Cuba has seen a stream of celebrities since the declaration of detente with the U.S. in December 2014. West and the Kardashians are some of the most famous entertainment figures to visit the island, joining a small class of ultra-famous visitors that includes the Rolling Stones. President Barack Obama came in March, Chanel debuted its 2016 "cruise" line Tuesday night and the latest installment of the multibillion-dollar "Fast and Furious" action movie franchise is filming here now. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is ditching the Hollywood Hills home he barely owned for a year. Durst bought the 3 bedroom, 3 bath home in December 2014 for $1.5 million. Now, he's put it back on the market for $1.625 million, so at least moving costs will be covered if he makes a profit. The home is in the famed Beachwood Canyon 'hood -- a celeb fave -- and the big draw is the outdoor courtyard with fireplace. Inside ... check out the wine cellar ... it could use some work though. No word on where Durst is moving -- he's pretty good at keeping big secrets. (TMZ)

Britney Spears Pens Touching Mother's Day Letter To Her Sons Jayden & Preston -- Cue The Awws! Well isn't this precious! Britney Spears joined other stars like Tori Spelling, Debbie Reynolds, and Amber Rose to participate in Time magazine's collection of celeb letters to their kids just ahead of Mother's Day -- and the result was absolutely ADORBS! I pray as a mother I teach you strength and passion to carry through the struggles in the world. Most battles will always be won on your knees. I pray you find your dreams. In Defense of Solange Knowles, Two Years After That Infamous Elevator Incident. Thursday marked the two-year anniversary of The Incident. It was on May 5, 2014 that the now-infamous Elevator Attack went down at the Standard Hotel after the Met Gala. It was the fight heard 'round the world, and it sent shockwaves through the entire industry and fan base. Even the Beyhive, normally quick to jump into action, was left stunned. And why wouldn't they be? The most famous family in Hollywood just got into a royal brawl on tape, exposing a closet full of infidelity and side chicks and all sorts of unspeakable skeletons. Plenty of people went after Solange in the days and weeks following the leaked video. They were less concerned with what Jay Zhad done to possibly deserve this outburst and more interested in the salaciousness of a Real Housewives-style catfight caught on video in all its grainy glory. And everybody missed the point. First of all, let's address the not-quite-large-enough elephant in the room: Solange crossed way over the line of appropriate behavior. We never endorse physical violence and this situation is no exception, the almost laughably uneven match-up notwithstanding. No matter how angry she was with Jay, there were far more appropriate (and less presumably booze-fueled) ways to handle it. But now that we're two years out from the whole scenario, with way more information and evidence to digest, we're looking at things in a different light and have decided it's time to come to Solange's defense. Do we wish she had done like they teach in kindergarten and used her words instead of her fists (and feet and purse)? Yes. Can we change what happened? No. So here's why we're on her side. In keeping with the grade school theme, it's time for America to walk a mile in Solange's shoes. How must she have felt that night; how must she have felt throughout Jay Z and Beyonce's entire marriage? If all the cheating rumors are to be believed, just imagine the pent-up frustration and anger that a sister would develop. Siblings often feel it's their job to protect each other, and there's no scenario that warrants more protecting than the possible breakup of a marriage. Then cut to the night in question; As sources told E! back in 2014, rumored flame Rachel Roy was "being flirty" with Jay at the Met Ball, so much so that it prompted Bey (with Solange in tow) to confront her about her "disrespectful" behavior. Jay then allegedly said some hurtful things to the Knowles sisters as the whole confrontation was going down, and the next thing you know they're in the elevator and all hell breaks loose. One has to imagine that Solange was in the mindset of B's not gonna do anything, so I will. Celebrities may seem otherworldly at times with their good looks and wealth, but at the end of the day they're as human as the rest of us. Solange's outburst also shone a light on one of her best qualities: Fierce loyalty and dedication to family. She'll defend her sister to the ends of the Earth, and she's not going to take any disrespect towards Bey lying down. And, in the midst of a marital dynamic that is hard for most people to wrap their heads around, she seems like the one person who sees the Carter's alleged arrangement as possibly not so fair. Jay Z gets to do whatever he wants and it's swept under the rug because it helps both of their careers? Not so fast, says Solange. You respect your vows and commitment or you will face the long arm of the law Solange. Of course, now, Solange is getting the last laugh. That's because while she stayed silent all these years, telling magazines that everything was behind them, she is now, finally, justified. That's because of one thing: Lemonade. After two years of the public questioning whether the infidelity rumors that spawned the elevator fight could really be true, and the lyrics of that revenge album blew the debate lid wide open. Lines like "If you try this s--t again you gonna lose your wife" or "Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home/Today I regret the night I put that ring on" don't leave much to the imagination. You have to respect her patience and restraint. How easy it would have been to just speak out and put the situation on blast, but Solange, like the prosaic Justin Bobby, knows that truth and time tells all. Of course, she hasn't been completely silent. Solange is one slick lady and don't think for one second that she hasn't taken the opportunity to slip in some sly references to the situation. It all boils down to one picture, really: This now-infamous lemon-yellow dress. Don't think for one second that this was an allusion to Beyonce. After all, she wore it barely a week after a release of Lemonade, to the Met Gala of all places (where that elevator incident went down, remember). And make that a Met Gala at which Jay Z was a no-show. We see you, Solange, and we are feeling this subtle shade. In a world full of passive-aggressive Instagram posts and ill-conceived Tweets, this is an old school way to say, I told all of you. And for the record, this would be the point where Solange drops the mic. (Eonline)

Caitlyn Jenner Sits Face to Face With LGBT Teenagers Who Have Criticized Her. Caitlyn Jenner is answering her young critics face to face. After she publicly announced her transition a year ago in a revelatory interview with Diane Sawyer, the former Olympic gold medalist and reality star suddenly became a major force within the LGBT community. Jenner later reintroduced herself to the public for the first time on the cover of Vanity Fair, was hailed as a "trans champion" by Glamour, which nominated her as one of their 2015 women of year and was ultimately honored with the 2015 Espys' Arthur Ash Award. Among all of the initial accolades, the 66-year-old television personality fielded endless criticism, particularly for her support of the Republican political party despite its members' unfavorable outlook on LGBT rights. While Jenner has publicly decried Republican-rooted anti-LGBT legislation in North Carolina and elsewhere, she has continued to field criticism from LGBT youth. So, she faced the complaints head on by sitting down with them for a personal one-on-one. Organized by the New York Times' Nicholas Kristof, the star met with Brooklyn students Joshua and Spencer. Spencer took issue with how the reality star uses her publicity. "She's privileged and she doesn't use her privilege to advocate for those who can't speak for themselves," Spencer said before meeting Jenner. The athlete acknowledged the concern immediately. "I was a privileged white male, so I've gotten very criticized for that within the trans community," Jenner began. "What do I know?" "Actually I know a lot," she continued. "I will never ever make excuses for working hard all my life. And being successful and raising a wonderful family of kids. Trans people can transition in private. I have not had that luxury because of who I am and "that privilege." I have been exposed to more than you can ever even imagine." Next, Joshua asked the public figure whether she thought she deserved the Arthur Ashe Award. "I was very honored. I knew it was so important what I said there for everybody. I'm very happy that it gave me that platform," she explained. "Whether I deserved it or not -- who cares?...Next year, there'll be a new person." (Eonline)

Janet Jackson Drops "Dammn Baby" Music Video After Pregnancy Reveal. Age is nothing but a number! Hours after news broke that Janet Jackson is pregnant with her first child, the songstress released her music video for "Dammn Baby," the third single off her album, Unbreakable. "It's all about love...#DammnBaby," she tweeted with the video. Even though Jackson is 11 days away from her 50th birthday, she proves that she hasn't missed a step in this intense dance number. In the entirely black-and-white video, Jackson and her backup dancers wear all-black, latex ensembles while busting out a wild choreographed routine. They bend it, shake it, pop it, lock it all while Jackson shows that age hasn't slowed her down a bit. E! News learned Wednesday that Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana were expecting a little bundle of joy. The news came only a month after Jackson suspended her Unbreakable World Tour because she and her hubby were "planning our family." The couple didn't say whether they were expecting but that only furthered the speculation. A source told us she is in her second trimester, and that she and Al Mana have been working with a fertility specialist for a while. "Hey, you guys. On Aug. 31, as you probably, know I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show. Thank you so much," the singer said. "You guys made it so enjoyable each and every night. We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can." Jackson and the Qatari business magnate tied the knot in a secret wedding in 2012. (Eonline)

Adele Helps a Gay Couple Get Engaged: "Should I Be Your Surrogate?" Two days before her 28th birthday, Adele unknowingly helped surprise one pair of fans with the memory of a lifetime. In the midst of her concert Tuesday night in Denmark, the songstress paused her performance to give a gay couple the spotlight. After she pulled Swedish fans Andre Söderberg and Simon Carlsson up on stage, one of the men took advantage of the unique opportunity and got down on one knee to propose to his boyfriend, who was visibly shocked and excited about the proposal. Adele held the mic to his mouth so that everyone could hear the signature question, "Will you marry me?" while his beau gleefully responded, "Yes!" Clad in a sparkling black gown, the Grammy winner began jumping up and down on stage and hugged the pair as they relished in the occasion. However, setting the scene for their proposal was not the only gift Adele was giving Tuesday night. She also made them an offer super fans would find hard to turn down. "Should I be your surrogate if you have children? I'd love to have a baby with someone Swedish," she reportedly asked them. "We travelled there from Sweden to see Adele," Carlsson told The Sun. "Before the show we bought silly glasses at a store. Funny enough for Adele to notice us, which she did because of the glasses and because we went totally crazy for her." This isn't the first time Adele has made her fans' day extra special. Back in March at the start of her world tour, she pulled another pair up on stage after noticing a proposal taking place in the audience while she sang "Make You Feel My Love." "Congratulations. I'm so happy for you," Adele said during the show. "That was one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed at one of my shows. Thank you so much for doing that." It seems Adele loves these proposals as much as the newly engaged pairs. Fortunately, there are plenty of tunes to pick from her repertoire that make for the perfect wedding song. (Eonline)

Justin Timberlake Set to Release New Song "Can't Stop the Feeling" and Our Ears Can Hardly Wait. Ladies and gentlemen, stop tearin up your heart because the wait for new Justin Timberlake music is almost over. In a surprise move very few followers saw coming, the former 'N Sync member announced a new song will be released in just two short days. Yes, that means this Friday music lovers. "#CantStopTheFeeling," he tweeted when asked what the new track would be called. "2 more days." When another follower asked if we could get a preview of the new song a little early, he simply replied with the thinking emoji. Hey, at least it's not a complete no. With anticipation growing by the day for the fresh tunes, we've noticed more than a few clues about what his next album could sound like. Just one month ago, Jessica Biel's husband revealed he was going a little bit country with one talented group. "NBD... Just writing with @LittleBigTown," he shared from a studio. "This band is the truth!! So good!!!!" And back in March, our ears perked up with excitement yet again when J.T. posted a snapshot of himself in the studio with the one and only Pharrell Williams. Perhaps the cherry on top to all these rumored projects is the confirmation that Justin will also be making new music for an animated musical. The proud dad to baby Silas will write and perform original songs for the highly anticipated comedy titled Trolls. "I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn't be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks' Trolls," Justin said in a press release obtained by E! News. "This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can't wait for everyone to experience it all." Until the film hits theatres Nov. 4, we're counting down till Friday morning for "Can't Stop the Feeling." (Eonline)

Rita Wilson longs for her lover in emotional new music video for her song "Forgiving Me Forgiving You." In the black-and-white video -- which the actress is sharing exclusively with Us Weekly first -- she stuns in a long lace gown while reminiscing about a relationship. "Sitting on the edge of what I don't know / There's a line in the sand / Do I stay? Do I go? / Nobody here to clean up our mess / Where we end up is anyone's guess," sings Wilson, who is married to Tom Hanks. "Too much to lose / This is not who we are baby, I miss us / Can we call a truce?" The track is off Wilson's self-titled second studio album, Rita Wilson. While chatting with Us Weekly's Entertainment Director Ian Drew, Wilson revealed that she set out to create music that can resonate with listeners. "I love telling stories," Wilson told Us of her work. "I wanted to make sure everything was -- even though there are songs like ballads and up-tempos and all of that -- that's really who I am. That's my personality. Like, I'm equally the woman in 'Girls Night In' as I am the person in 'Forgiving Me Forgiving You' or in 'Along for the Ride.' So it's, I really just set out to hopefully tell a story that might be recognized by others and have them feel like, 'Oh, I know what that feels like.'" In a blog posted to her website, she expanded on what inspired her new album. "At one point in the writing process, I realized that there was a theme emerging from the songs that had to do with different levels of being vulnerable, or weak, or strong, or courageous," the Girls actress shared. "It seemed that there was something going on there and I tried to not get in the way and see what would come through." (US Weekly)

Gwen Stefani and James Corden Sing Carpool Karaoke With Surprise Guests George Clooney and Julia Roberts. What a ride! Gwen Stefani joined James Corden in the passenger seat for a round of Carpool Karaoke on Late Late Show, and it was a truly magical experience. They got down to some of Gwen's new hits, some old hits, some No Doubt favorites, and of course, discussed her adorable relationship with Voice costar Blake Shelton. Singalongs included Gwen's's "Used to Love You," "Sweet Escape" and "Rich Girl," plus No Doubt's "Don't Speak." At one point, James complimented the 46-year-old singer's appearance. "I feel like you are like Benjamin Button. You are not aging. I feel like you're getting younger. You are just ageless. My wife is going, 'I just want to know what she does. What's her regime?' I feel like I've in the past year about 10 years," he said. Referring to her split from husband Gavin Rossdale, Gwen replied, "What happened was my life blew up. After that I kind of started falling in love. Then I wrote a whole record about that. That's like what the facelift is, I think!" The late-night host needed two more people in order to drive in the carpool lane, so he picked up an A-list actor: George Clooney. "You owe me big time for this," he said after hopping in the backseat. He then called his Money Monster co-star Julia Roberts and asked her to join their musical on wheels. Together, the four stars sang Gwen's "Hollaback Girl" and Queen's "We Are the Champions." Stefani is just the latest star to join Corden for a ride to work. Jennifer Lopez and Sia both recently occupied that passenger seat, and upcoming installments include trips with Selena Gomez and a joint ride with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas. The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. (Eonline)

Paul McCartney stopped short of punching a higher floor when he paid homage to Prince during a concert in Minneapolis Wednesday night. Sir Paul was playing the Target Center when he launched into "Let's Go Crazy." Paul and his band jammed through the tune, and the crowd went nuts ... but something was missing through most of it -- Paul's vocals. McCartney ain't looking for no purple bananas, but you know Prince would still dig this tribute. After all, he loved him some Beatles tunes. (TMZ)

Axl Rose Appears With AC/DC For First Time In Lisbon Promo Video. We got our first glimpse of Axl Rose with the members of his other band on Thursday morning (May 5), when the Guns N' Roses singer sat down with AC/DC's Angus Young and Cliff Williams in a promotional video in advance of the group's debut show together. Seated on high stools in a large rehearsal space/airplane hangar, the trio gave a very brief preview of their unlikely union. "Lisbon here we come," said guitarist Young. "You know we're really excited to be here in Portugal. We're here to give you a great rock show so we hope to see you all there." Not used to being the silent partner in a huge rock band, Rose sat mute as Young talked, glancing off camera several times during the 17-second clip. After an awkward pause, Rose -- wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt and black fedora -- added, "absolutely, we're very excited to be there." Williams chimed in with, "we'll see you on Saturday!" Saturday's show marks the first time Rose will take the stage with the other two members of the "Back in Black" band, standing in for singer Brian Johnson, who is sitting out the remainder of AC/DC's Rock or Bust world tour after doctors advised him against performing over fears that he could suffer permanent hearing loss. Current plans calls for Rose to play 12 European dates with AC/DC before returning home to prep for GNR's summer Not In This Lifetime stadium tour. If you can't wait, there are several fan-recorded videos (with poor audio) featuring the purported sounds of the Axl/DC rehearsals in Lisbon. (Billboard)

Kylie Jenner singing isn't 'news' for most, especially if you follow her on Snapchat because she loves a good singalong in the car - but now, the 18-year-old features in a new track called Beautiful Day alongside Lil Yachty, Justine Skye and Jordyn Woods. Producer Burberry Perry uploaded a new self-titled six-track project onto his SoundCloud Wednesday night, and in it features our cover star's musical debut. You go, Kylie! Remember when the Kardashian's all sang a song for their mum's 60th, and the Jenner sisters' part got axed. Well, that's not the case here. (British Glamour)

Grimes Get Formal For 'Tonight Show' Performance. Sometimes you have to suffer for your art. But Grimes was more than happy to be a bit uncomfortable for four minutes on Wednesday night (May 4) when she performed "Flesh Without Blood" on The Tonight Show because she got to wear an amazing Zac Posen outfit. "Fallon was hard cuz I've never tried to sing in a corset before so bear w me if the vocals are crazy," she wrote on an Instagram post before the show. "But as u can see it was worth it." And, in fact, not only did she sound great performing the upbeat track from her Art Angels album, but she did, indeed look amazing as well in her flowing black ball gown with bedazzled ear monitor holster/belt as she bounced around a stage bathed in psychedelic flashing lights. Check out the performance: She was a little excited about the performance, as evidenced by a series of Instas she posted Wednesday night before (and) after taking the stage. Okay, except for the part where she had to wear a corset. (Billboard)

Afrojack & Laidback Luke Team Up For 'Move to the Sound': Exclusive. Laidback Luke and Afrojack have a history together. In 2008, Afrojack remixed "Generation Noise" a song Luke made with Roman Salzger featuring Boogshe. The next year, Afrojack also put his own spin on the Luke/Steve Angello version of Robin S' house classic "Show Me Love." It turns out that the two artists go back even further: Luke helped jumpstart Afrojack's interest in electronic music by putting him on the guest list for his first ever club show when he was a teen. Luke subsequently introduced Afrojack to David Guetta; those two worked together last year on "Hey Mama," a hit with Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha. Laidback LukeKrijn van Noordwijk Tomorrow, Luke and Afrojack will release a track they made together. "Move To The Sound," premiering exclusively on Billboard Dance, belongs to the group of instructional dance records that command motion with words as well as rhythm. The vocals come courtesy of Hawkboy. A playful riff keeps reappearing throughout the track, whirring like a piece of machinery in the process of overheating. "I felt this collaboration was a gift from Nick to me as he initiated it and [it] went super smoothly," Luke explains. "It was a very nice experience and good to touch back on an underground sound that did so well for us throughout these years." Afrojack added enthusiastically, "It's great to be working together with one of my own early mentors and good friends!" The single arrives May 6 on Afrojack's Wall Recordings. (Billboard)

'Dance Moms' Star JoJo Siwa Takes on Bullying in 'Boomerang': Exclusive First Listen. As a full time cast member on Lifetime's Dance Moms, 12-year old JoJo Siwa has seen her share of negativity on social media -- and she's had enough. "I never really had experienced hate in school with girls and boys. What I do experience is social media and so every day people comment, 'You're fat, you're ugly, you're rude, you're all this stuff, and I just don't like it at all," she told Billboard. "I don't want anyone to have to go through that." Siwa chose to address the issue with the release of a new song, "Boomerang." It gets its official release Friday on iTunes, but Billboard has an exclusive first listen premiere May 5. "'Boomerang' is all about coming back from the hate and not listening to the hate," she said. "It really tells a message." The track is an upbeat, inspiring song that shows off the preteen's rapping and singing skills set to a fun and sparkling dance beat. On it, she sings, "I don't really care about what they say / Ima come back like a Boomerang." Listen to the song here: Siwa began work on the song last winter with songwriters Jordan Richman, Griffith Frank and Heather Miley. The song -- co-produced by Richman and Miley -- came together quickly in the studio, Richman told Billboard. "She knows exactly who she is and exactly what she wants to say. Almost every time she opens her mouth, she says something really insightful," he said. "We were all so impressed with her maturity and attitude and how much she brought to the table when we were creating the song with her." While her previous single, "I Can Make You Dance," was a call to the dance floor, her latest effort takes on the serious subject of online bullying. The result is an inspirational message that Richman said shows how to overcome bullying, be inclusive and find a solution. "It really spoke to the heart of what we believe and what JoJo believes. When JoJo came into the studio, that was one of the main topic points and one of her main experiences she's had," Richman said. "Since she's only 12, we kind of found it's best to write from your own experiences and to her that's what she wanted to say. And that's what we helped her to say in the studio." Siwa said working with all three songwriters helped to bring her ideas to life. "They are the best team ever," she said. "It was so fun working with them because they really got me and they got where I was coming from and they were really helpful." Frank said he was impressed with the pre-teen's focus in the studio. "She was right there along with us absolutely keeping up. She really knew everything she wanted to say and how she wanted to say it in a way that would connect to her audience," he added. "It was really a fantastic show of someone who has a strong foothold in what they want to say. And JoJo isn't a normal 12-year-old when it comes down to it. She's right there with you every moment and almost has a better handle than most co-writers that we write with who are our age. She's pretty much 12-going-on-30." That work ethic came early in life. Born in Nebraska, Siwa first started dancing in her mom, Jessalynn's, dance studio. While most kids wait until they are eight to get their first dance solo, Siwa hit the stage early at the tender age of two with an adorable routine to "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now" from the musical Hairspray. She debuted on Lifetime as the youngest competitor on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition in its second season and joined Dance Moms in 2014. "I really have been dancing my whole life," she said. She plans to incorporate that love of dance into her blossoming pop career. She draws inspiration from artists that range from Britney Spears to Meghan Trainor to her personal favorite, Miley Cyrus. "I like her songs and her music and I like how she is an individual," Siwa said. It is Siwa's own sense of self that Richman says will serve her well. "She has a really good head on her shoulders," he said. Now living with her mom in Los Angeles, Siwa's day is scheduled starting with school from 8 a.m. through to 11 p.m. After an hour lunch break, she films the show until 4, before dancing at the studio until 10:30 p.m. Sometimes her schedule is so crazy she has to pass on opportunities. For instance: She was invited to make an appearance at the Radio Disney Awards, but had to decline because her presence was required in an upcoming episode. "It's a lot, but the show helps because it schedules us," she said. "It's a long day, but hard work pays off." Siwa isn't the first cast member of Dance Moms to release music. Last year, Nia Frazier released the singles, Star in Your Own Life" and "Slay" (as Nia Sioux) while Kendall Vertes (as Kendall K) debuted the song, "Wear 'Em Out." In 2014, Mackenzie Ziegler released her own album, Mack Z. And, of course, Maddie Ziegler has been prominently featured as a dancer in Sia's videos. While Siwa has the blessing of Abby Lee Miller, owner and teacher of the Abby Lee Dance Company and star of Dance Moms, the choreographer is not managing or involved in the singing aspect of her career. "Of course she is happy for me that I am doing all of this," she said. The next month is going to be busy for the young entertainer. In addition to her music career, she is venturing into the world of fashion with her own accessory line of her signature bows debuting in Claire's stores. Fans of Dance Moms will also get a treat after the finale: the video for "Boomerang" (featuring her mom, as well as Vertes and her mom, Jill) will debut on its Girl Talk show May 17. In addition, the song will have its radio premiere this Monday (May 9) on Radio Disney. (Billboard)

French Montana Talks Bad Boy/Epic Records Deal, Offers Update on 'Mac & Cheese' Album. The Epic Records roster welcomes their newest signee: French Montana. The Bronx-bred rapper joins L.A. Reid's family with plans to release his sophomore set Mac & Cheese: The Album later this year. Since the announcement of Epic's partnership with Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records last October, there have been some key names in hip-hop joining the label helmed by chairman/CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid and president Sylvia Rhone. In January, Rick Ross left Def Jam Records after 10 years and eight studio albums to join Epic. In April, DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group -- his own label, studio, management, and production company -- signed an exclusive deal with the label, where the Snapchat extraordinaire will be releasing his next album Major Key. Now, Montana, who is riding off the success of his collaboration with Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All The Way Up," has solidified his own place on Epic after finding that he and L.A. shared mutual respect during their initial talks last year. "He's one of the good ones," French tells Billboard of Reid. "I love how he's so attached to the music. A lot of chairmans out there, a lot of entrepreneurs can't do what he do. When I met up with him, I played him the music. He just told me the right place for me to go is over where he's at. He's gonna give me a million percent support." Though it's been three years since Montana's debut Excuse My French, he's been supplying his street-oriented fan base with mixtapes -- including a collaboration with Fetty Wap and the Max B hosted Wave Gods -- to hold fans over. Singles that generated buzz for Mac & Cheese included "Don't Panic," "Bad B---h" featuring Jeremih and "Lose It" co-starring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Montana says the album will have the same feel as his 'tapes, but the sound will be more soulful and "a mixture of all different drums and 808s." He's confirmed features from Max B, the late Chinx, Miguel and Kanye West. One record in particular "Mercy" features Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss and Styles P. "Those are three of the hardest that ever come out of the East Coast," he says. "I wanted to do something crazy." Although Montana's resume is stacked with collaborations alongside a wide range of artists, nothing would mean more to him than to reunite with his incarcerated friend Max B for another collaboration. "All I really want is Max to come out so I can work with him," he says. "Me and Jeezy just did something. Me and Jay did something. Me and Nas -- that worked out right. Unless you talkin' about some country music [collaborations] or something. [Laughs]" French's longtime mentor, Diddy, also praised the MC's track record. "French Montana is a proven Hit Maker," Combs said in a release. "When I first heard him, I knew he had that special Bad Boy sound and I believed in his potential. He was on the fast track then, and now, to see how far he's come, he's a major force in Hip-Hop and a key member of the Bad Boy Family. Bad Boy is known for creating the biggest acts in hip-hop - and French is not only a part of our legacy but now also a part of our new chapter at Epic Records." Montana will also take part in the Bad Boy Family reunion tour shows at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on May 20 and May 21. While there's no official single from Mac & Cheese, Montana has been mulling over the idea of an A-side and B-side throwback single release for "Figure It Out" featuring 'Ye and Nas or "Lock Jaw" with Kodak Black from Wave Gods. In conjunction with his label announcement, Montana even released the "Figure It Out" video, directed by Eif Rivera. With a new label home for Mac & Cheese, it's only a matter of time until the "Coke Wave" returns. "Just get ready for the tsunami," he says. "Things are about to get real." (Billboard)

Selena Gomez Donating Proceeds From Revival Tour to Lupus Research. The singer had canceled parts of her Stars Dance Tour in 2013 when she had to undergo chemotherapy treatment. Back in 2013, Selena Gomez canceled parts of her Stars Dance Tour after she was diagnosed with lupus and had to undergo chemotherapy treatment. Now, nearly three years later, Gomez is about to hit the road again on the Revival Tour, and this time she'll donate proceeds from each ticket sold to the Alliance for Lupus Research, according to her representative. Based in New York, ALR is a national voluntary health organization whose mission is to find better treatments and ultimately prevent lupus. Gomez's camp says ALR was selected because of its broad reach. Gomez revealed her lupus diagnosis in a 2015 Billboard cover story. For her Revival Tour -- which kicks off Friday in Las Vegas -- the singer is ready to be back on the stage and the center of attention. "This show is so centered around me, and I mean that in a way of confidence, of strength," Gomez says. "It has a beautiful feel to it, but it is about me, so if I wanted to come in one day and say I want to change [a song in the show] or add this, I can do that. That's the first time I've ever really been able to do that in my life. And I feel, I feel great about it. It's not me making sure I hit all the dance moves. "There's so much I want to prove to myself for this tour and it's just based on me, it's based on my voice, it's based on what I say to my crowd," she adds. "That's all I really want." With regards to the set list for the show, the pop star says she had a "clear vision" for the tour: "Seventy percent of my audience are the people that I've had with me from the beginning, but I know that a big portion of [the crowd] will be people who've never been to one of my concerts before, so I obviously kept that in mind." Gomez says she's very "excited" for fans to hear the new version of "Come and Get It" that she'll be performing during the show, which is mostly focused around the Revival album. "We just sprinkled in only three old songs, so it's just the new material, which is how I wanted it to be. We may add in a few things as well, surprise-wise, but we'll figure it out." Gomez's globe-trotting Revival Tour has shows scheduled through Dec. 18, with dates in North America, Asia and Europe. (Hollywood Reporter)

Rolling Stones Ask Trump to Stop Playing Their Songs. The band joins Adele and Steven Tyler, who also have asked the candidate to stop using their music at campaign events. The Rolling Stones have asked presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to stop playing their songs at his campaign events. In a statement Wednesday, the rock band said they have not given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs and "have requested that they cease all use immediately." A Trump campaign spokeswoman didn't immediately respond to a request for comment or say whether they had a license to play their songs. Trump, an avid music fan, has featured Rolling Stones songs at his rallies for months as part of a diverse soundtrack that includes Elton John, opera and classic rock songs. The Rolling Stones' 1969 classic "You Can't Always Get What You Want" was a popular song for his events, and during an event on Tuesday night, the campaign played "Start Me Up." Adele and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler both asked the candidate to stop using their recorded songs to fire up crowds. Neil Young also objected when the real estate mogul used "Rockin' in the Free World" during his campaign kickoff announcement last year. In those cases, the Trump campaign stopped using the songs. Political campaigns don't need artists' permission to play their songs at rallies as long as the political organization or the venue has gotten what's known as a blanket license from the performing rights organizations ASCAP and BMI for all the music in the licensing group's repertoire. But artists do have some recourse. BMI, for example, has said it has a provision in its license agreement that allows BMI songwriters or publishers to object to the use of their songs and they have the ability to exclude those songs from the blanket license. There's no argument Celine Dion is one of the biggest living music icons. And later this month, the My Heart Will Go On singer will finally have the trophy to prove it when she receives the ICON Award at this year's Billboard Music Awards! The legendary performer will receive the honor and perform Queen's The Show Must Go On at the ceremony -- conveniently located right down the street from her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace! Past winners of the lifetime-achievement award include Jennifer Lopez in 2014,Prince in 2013, Stevie Wonder in 2012, and Neil Diamond in 2011. Marco Bracco, the show's executive producer, had this to say about the 48-year-old's selection: "Celine Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform 'The Show Must Go On' as her ICON performance on the Billboard Music Awards. I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings and it's an amazing choice." This is indeed quite the emotional year for Celine, after suffering the loss of her husband and former manager Rene Angelil, who died of throat cancer in January. With that in mind, we're sure the hitmaker has a moving performance in store come showtime. In addition to Queen Celine, the BBMA has no shortage of superstar performances lined up. Britney Spears will also perform a medley of her hits after she receives the Millennium Award. And with performances from Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, and Pink to look forward to, the 2016 Billboard Music Awards is definitely a can't miss event! Catch Dion's touching performance when the show airs live on May 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC! (Perez Hilton)

Why Cannes Is Giving Amazon (and Not Netflix) So Much Love. "They are movie buffs," says fest director Thierry ?Fremaux of the streamer that, unlike its disruptive rival, is playing by Hollywood's theatrical rules (so far). The last time Ted Sarandos went to Cannes, he got heckled. "You are destroying the film ecosystem of Europe!" a French journalist screamed after Netflix's chief content officer finished a 2015 keynote on the future of cinema. It was up to Harvey Weinstein, also in the audience, to stand up and defend the streaming service, as well as Sarandos' cinematic credentials. Compare that chilling reception with the warm embrace Cannes has given Amazon. Festival director Thierry Fremaux picked five Amazon titles this year -- Woody Allen's Cafe Society for opening night, Jim Jarmusch's Paterson, Nicolas Winding Refn's The Neon Demon and Park Chan-wook's The Handmaiden in competition, and Jarmusch's Iggy Pop documentary Gimme Danger as a special screening -- more than any other studio. While the traditional film industry has bristled at Netflix's disruptive presence -- the theatrical boycott of its Beasts of No Nation by the four largest U.S. exhibitors, a response to the streamer's decision to bow the film online day-and-date, essentially killed its awards chances -- it so far has warmed to Amazon. "There is no suspicion about [their] love of cinema. They are good for cinema," says Fremaux. "Amazon and the people in charge of cinema at Amazon -- the people who bought Woody Allen and Nicolas Winding Refn -- they are movie buffs." Ted Hope, head of film production at Amazon, went further, telling THR that Cannes' mandate and his company's "are virtually one and the same. ... We are a director-driven company; we aim for visionary and ambitious films that have the stamp of what an auteur is, that singular voice. And that is certainly what Cannes has always been." Hours after Cannes announced its lineup, international exhibitors at CinemaCon joined the festival in welcoming Amazon to the fold, wildly cheering executives who promised that, unlike Netflix, all of their films will go out in theaters, holding to the traditional 90-day theatrical window. "Amazon seems to be willing to play the theatrical game, as it were -- to play by the rules," says Phil Clapp, CEO of the U.K. Cinema Association. "That commitment to the ... theatrical experience sends an important signal to the broader industry that there is a willingness to engage [and] be a full partner, perhaps in contrast to others operating in this space." Adds Hope: "You look at what our slates are, and most of these films will benefit by traditional windows. We aren't truly doing something -- to use the pop -- ular, overused term of the day -- disruptive. We are doing something that highlights what's great about cinema and trying to make it work better." Material also matters: Netflix has invested in a slate of Adam Sandler movies. Amazon -- which in addition to its Cannes titles has the Kevin Spacey-Michael Shannon starrer Elvis & Nixon, Whit Stillman's Love & Friendship and Manchester by the Sea with Michelle Williams and Casey Affleck -- is singing European cinema owners' tune. "I think Amazon's slate might actually do better on the Old Continent," says Eddy Duquenne, CEO of Belgium's Kinepolis movie chain. "We have a population that's a little bit grayer than the U.S., is less interested in the studio sequels and wants more estrogen and less testosterone in its movies." Amazon insists it sees value in the theatrical release, which, claims Amazon Studios head Roy Price, "positions a movie as a real movie in customers' eyes." But Amazon's cinema-first strategy is as practical as it is ideological. Unlike Netflix, which operates its streaming service in virtually every country in the world (China being the one major exception), Amazon's Prime Video service is not available in France, in Italy, in Canada, Spain, Australia, Russia or Brazil. A global day-and-date rollout, the cornerstone of Netflix' release strategy, still is impossible for Amazon. "At the moment, Amazon loves the art house, or smart house section of the market, where they need a theatrical, critics-supported release to kick-start the next release windows," says Mike Ryan, chairman of global trade association the Independent Film & TV Alliance. "But we've seen in the past how these digital companies can turn on a dime and change their strategies." (Hollywood Reporter)

Cannes: Andrew Garfield, Andy Serkis Teaming Up for 'Breathe'. Claire Foy will also star in the film, which centers on the life of Robin Cavendish, who was diagnosed with polio at the age of 28. Andy Serkis is attached to direct Breathe, starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy. The drama is based on the real-life story of Robin Cavendish, who was struck with polio at the age of 28. He was paralyzed from the neck down and relied on a machine to keep him breathing. He was first given only three months to live, but he left the hospital against advice from doctors and became a medical miracle when he lived for years. He was a champion for the disabled, helping, along with Oxford professor Teddy Hall, to create a wheelchair that had an attached respirator. He also had a hand in inventing numerous other devices to help the disabled. He died in 1994 at the age of 64. Garfield will play Cavendish, while Foy will play his wife, Diana Blacker. William Nicholson wrote the script. Embankment will introduce the package to foreign buyers in Cannes. Garfield taking on the role of an afflicted young man could be a powerful showcase for the actor. This type of endeavor has a history of garnering awards, as was the case with Daniel Day-Lewis in My Left Foot and Eddie Redmayne in The Theory of Everything. Garfield was most recently seen in real estate thriller 99 Homes opposite Michael Shannon. His upcoming films include Martin Scorsese's Silence with Adam Driver and Liam Neeson, and Mel Gibson's WWII drama Hacksaw Ridge. He's repped by CAA and Sloane, Offer. Foy played Anne Boleyn in the TV miniseries Wolf Hall and was most recently seen in The Lady in the Van. She's shooting the TV series The Crown at the moment. She's repped by Independent Talent Group in the UK and Hansen, Jacobson. Serkis, known for his acting work, especially in motion-capture in films such as The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is making his directorial debut with Warner Bros.' Jungle Book adaptation. He served as the second unit director on several films, including The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. He's repped by CAA and Principal Entertainment LA. Nicholson, who previously wrote the screenplays for Everest and Unbroken, also is repped by CAA. (Hollywood Reporter)

Paddy Considine Channels Rocky Balboa in 'Journeyman'. A promo of the British boxing drama will be screened in the Cannes market. The first image from boxing drama Journeyman, Paddy Considine's second turn behind the camera, has been unveiled, offering a glimpse of the BAFTA-winning British multi-hyphenate grimly sweating it out in the corner of a ring. The film -- now in post-production and financed by Film4, the BFI, Screen Yorkshire and the Wellcome Trust -- sees Considine team up with his BAFTA-award winning Tyrannosaur producing partner Diarmid Scrimshaw and directing himself as a middleweight fighter coming towards the end of his career. Realizing he must make money in order to retire from the sport, he takes on a big, brash fighter who is out to take his title. After a titanic battle, he returns home to his wife, but moments later collapses on the living room floor from a delayed reaction to a devastating punch. When he awakes from a coma, the real fight begins. Alongside Considine, who also wrote the script, Jodie Whittaker (One Day), Anthony Welsh (My Brother The Devil), Tony Pitts (War Horse) and Paul Popplewell ('71) star in Journeyman, which also features appearances from actual boxing professionals. The film has already been picked up by StudioCanal for the U.K. Cornerstone is overseeing international sales and will screen a first-look promo in Cannes. (Hollywood Reporter)

Did The Good Wife Series Finale Ending Satisfy the Cast? Will it Make Fans Happy? If there is one overall truth that applies to all TV shows it is that a series finale will never please everybody. TV finales are a fickle business, sometimes even leaving the stars to desire something more. Did The Good Wife's? "I am incredibly satisfied with the ending," Cush Jumbo, Lucca Quinn on The Good Wife and a self-professed fan of the show prior to joining for season seven. "I didn't feel like anything had been stolen from me, I wasn't bereft. I felt satisfied and kind of curious as to what would've happened to those people in the future." Series star Julianna Margulies, that's Alicia Florrick to Good Wife fans, told E! News she was happy with the ending, but she's not sure how it will come together. "I know what I shot and I know what I read on the page," she told us at the series finale party. "How it ends up on screen, I can't take any responsibility for that." Matt Czuchry, who has played Cary Agos on the show since its start, said fans should take solace in knowing they will get some closure. "What I liked about it is everything comes full circle," he told us. Hmmm... Let Christine Baranski expand on that further: "The people I think who really get the show, who really understand the best of what this show is will totally get it," she said. The Good Wife series finale airs Sunday, May 8 at 9 p.m. on CBS. (Eonline)

It's a Fuller House Faceoff! New Pics From the Season 2 Set. They're back! Fuller House is officially back in production for season two, and the cast has wasted no time in posting behind-the-scenes photos from the first table read of the year. As we can see in the pics, the episode is aptly titled "Welcome Back." While Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber all opted for the traditional script pic, Scott Weinger got a little more creative with his snap. Weinger, a.k.a. D.J. Tanner's high school boyfriend Steve, posted a face-to-face pic with John Brotherton, a.k.a. D.J.'s veterinarian coworker Matt, a.k.a. Steve's romantic rival for D.J.'s affection. The end of Fuller House season one saw DJ choose herself, Kelly Taylor style. Bure told E! News a few weeks ago that when we return in season two, both men will have moved on with new women -- but that doesn't mean that either of them is over D.J. "I'm not sure -- If Steve and Matt both have girlfriends, it might change her feelings. You know how once something's unavailable that you think is and you're like, 'Hmm, maybe I missed out on something, maybe I should rethink this.' I think that's going to be one of the big storylines," she told us. Netflix renewed Fuller House for a second season within a week of season one's debut earlier this year, and star/executive producer John Stamos told E! News that we won't have to wait nearly as long for new episodes this time. "They actually sort of put a rush on it," he said. "I don't think they've announced the dates, but they're going to be a lot sooner than we released last year's." (Eonline)

Meet Kelly Ripa's First Batch of New Live! Cohosts. America, meet Kelly Ripa's first batch of new Live! cohosts. The show has revealed the lineup for Ripa's first week of guest cohosts after Michael Strahan departs the series on May 13. We already knew that Jimmy Kimmel is filling in on Monday, May 16, but the lineup for the rest of the week is as follows: Empire star Jussie Smollett on Tuesday, May 17, comedian Cedric the Entertainer on Wednesday, May 18, ABC News anchor David Muir on Thursday, May 19, and Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim on Friday, May 20. ABC announced two weeks ago that Strahan would be leaving his morning talk show to join Good Morning America in the fall, surprising everyone -- including Ripa, who has hosted Live! since 2001. "After meeting with the producers of both Live and Good Morning America, and after speaking with Kelly and Michael, we have decided on a plan that best advantages both shows for the future. To that end, Michael's last day on Live will be on Friday, May 13, which not only gives the show the chance to have a nice send-off for him during the May book, but to also immediately begin the on-air search for a new co-host," a show spokesperson told E! News in late April. "This plan also allows GMA to start integrating Michael into the show more often this summer before his full-time start in September." After the network bungled the announcement, Ripa took several days off (during which Erin Andrews, Shay Mitchell and Ana Gasteyer cohosted alongside Strahan), before returning and addressing the controversy. "Guys, our long national nightmare is over," she said when she returned. "I'm going to be completely honest: I'm fairly certain that there are trained, professional snipers with tranquilizer darts in case I drift too far off message. I first want to honestly, sincerely thank you for welcoming me back to this show." The host continued, "The love, the show of support to this bizarre time has been really overwhelming. I really needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts. After 26 years with this company, I earned the right -- and let's be honest, I know half of you called in sick to be here, so we get each other. In that time, I gained some perspective. I always speak from the heart. I didn't want to come out here and just, like, say something I might regret. What transpired, though, over the course of a few days has been extraordinary in the sense that it started a much greater conversation about communication and consideration and, most importantly, respect in the workplace." Katie Couric is eyeing an exit from Yahoo amid its sale to a yet-to-be-named buyer. While company execs have been buzzing that the media superstar is preparing to announce that she's departing after 21/2 years as a global anchor at Yahoo News, sources close to Couric say she will wait to find out who buys the struggling tech giant. Multiple insiders tell Page Six that Couric -- along with other talent including Yahoo Style's Editor-in-Chief Joe Zee and tech writer David Pogue -- have had long-standing frustrations because they believe the site makes it difficult for users to find their content. They also suspect the Silicon Valley firm has skimped on spending on ads that could drive traffic to their content. But as the company undergoes a harrowing sale process, which has seen hundreds of layoffs and the closure of seven of its sites, we're told Couric believes it may be time to leave. "She's thinking about her next act," said an insider. Yahoo sources also noted to Page Six that Couric has been absent from some high-profile events of late. While she sat at Yahoo's table at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in 2015, Couric skipped the event this year to attend a conference in Rome. A source said she taped segments for her day job while there. Meanwhile, she was missing from the company's annual event for advertisers on Wednesday because she was in Los Angeles for the premiere of her non-Yahoo movie "Under the Gun." "Last year she was front and center for most of the presentation," said a source. In spite of the Yahoo drama, Couric has enjoyed strong numbers; her obituary video for Prince was watched 5 million times. She told Page Six, "I'm very proud of our incredible team and how they are producing consistently high-quality content on a daily basis, despite the uncertainty." "We just announced an extended slate of programming with Katie Couric during our Yahoo NewFront presentation," said a Yahoo News rep. "We look forward to continuing our work together, and bringing our audience even more of her exceptional journalism and storytelling." (Page Six)

Mark Burnett is a smart guy who knows all about a bird in the hand, which is why he's coyly telling our photog Arnold Schwarzenegger is the man for 'Celebrity Apprentice,' even if Donald Trump loses the election. Mark was leaving Craig's in WeHo Wednesday, and without fully closing the door, he made it clear he's satisfied with Arnold. Word on the street is that Schwarzenegger's a great host, and the show's super entertaining. He clearly harbors no ill will toward Trump, but was strangely silent about endorsing him. Fact is ... this one ended up well for both Trump and Burnett. (TMZ)

Whoopi Goldberg sure sounds like she's not going to bail on "The View" when her contract is up in a few months. We got Whoopi in SoHo Wednesday and she's definitely not definitive, but it sounds like she's satisfied with the gig. The show needs her ... bad. (TMZ)

'Game of Thrones' Season 6: Looking Ahead at One of the Show's Most Anticipated Scenes Yet. Fans could learn Jon Snow's true origin in the next episode of "Thrones." "Now it begins." "Now it ends." These closing words in the preview for the third episode of Game of Thrones' sixth season, called "Oathbreaker," might stack up as little more than bravado for some viewers. But for book readers, they translate to a single word: Joy. The men in question are new and old, foreign and familiar, and both deeply embedded in the past. The former: Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning, one of the most legendary warriors in Westeros history. The other is a man viewers have not seen in a while -- or had not seen in a while, until this past week's "Home," anyway: Eddard Stark, the man who would one day become Lord of Winterfell, and play central roles in multiple civil wars destined to ravage the Seven Kingdoms. In "Oathbreaker," fans will witness the tail end of the first of those wars: Robert's Rebellion, the historic takedown of House Targaryen, followed by House Baratheon's ascension to the Iron Throne. The conflict began with numerous lethal affronts against the Starks, including the deaths of Ned's father Rickard and elder brother Brandon, as well as the abduction of sister Lyanna at the hands of Rhaegar Targaryen. It's Ned's sister who comes into play at the Tower of Joy, a Dornish stronghold that housed Lyanna, with three sworn members of the Targaryen Kingsguard defending the place from attackers: Lord Commander Gerold Hightower, Ser Oswell Whent, and the aforementioned Arthur Dayne. In the waning days of the rebellion, Ned led a company of six against these three Targaryen loyalists, intending to free his sister at all costs. The rest, as they say, is history: Ned and Howland Reed (father of Meera and the late Jojen) walked away as the only two survivors, Lyanna included. Lord Stark revisits these horrible memories throughout his many chapters in A Game of Thrones, the first book in George R.R. Martin's novel series on which the HBO show is based -- and while the cause of Lyanna's death is never explicitly stated, numerous details about Eddard's recollection of the event strongly implies her pivotal role in current Westeros events. The theory posits that Rhaegar did not abduct Lyanna at all; instead, the two were in love, perhaps even marrying in secret, resulting in an infant child: Jon Snow. (The darker version of the theory maintains Rhaegar abducted Lyanna, and their relationship wasn't as romantic as many fans have hoped; this read, thankfully, flies in the face of many details readers learn about the soulful Targaryen prince.) Lyanna allegedly dies in childbirth during the assault on the Tower of Joy, but only after demanding a "promise" from Ned to raise Jon as his own son, and keep his true heritage a secret from the Targaryen hating Baratheons. If the theory bears out, then the recently resurrected Jon Snow's role in the grander Game of Thrones story just got even bigger, as if that was possible. As Prince Rhaegar's son, especially if he's legitimate, Jon Snow would boast a strong claim to the Iron Throne of Westeros, as well as a deep connection with dragons -- a notion that would certainly come in handy when the White Walker war reaches its boiling point. With all that in mind, it's no wonder why episode three's Tower of Joy sequence is one of the most anticipated moments in Game of Thrones history. Adding a further level of intrigue: Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow) will bear witness to the event, according to the preview. Whatever game-changing reveals actually exist at the Tower, Bran will be the man who comes away with that information in his heart. If no Jon Snow reveals exist? Then, if nothing else, it's one more chance to see Eddard Stark at the height of his warrior prowess. No matter which way it goes, the viewer wins. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Empire' to Throw Circus to Court Emmy Voters. As part of a frenzy in the golden age of television to rise above the crowd, campaigns have reached full-scale for-your-consideration warfare: "Nobody can get away with the standard screening and a panel now. There's too much competition." An Access Hollywood producer butchered the second verse of "Genie in a Bottle" during an NBC-hosted karaoke "happy hour" as Christina Aguilera surprised him onstage to salvage the hook. It was one of several surreal moments, even by entertainment press standards, during an April 21 mixer for The Voice to drum up coverage during the increasingly chaotic Emmy campaign season. Yes, Peak TV is prompting full-scale for-your-consideration warfare as the 2016 Emmy cycle takes schmoozing to near-Oscars levels ahead of the June 13 start of nominations voting. That means celebrity sing-alongs, hot-ticket cast reunions (FX's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) and even a small circus on a studio lot (Fox's Empire). "Nobody can get away with the standard screening and a panel now," says one strategist. "There's too much competition." Motivations go beyond just the need to stand out in a hypercompetitive field. The shift partially is birthed by necessity. Past years have seen networks and studios rely heavily on the Television Academy's North Hollywood headquarters to play host to episode encores and Q&A sessions with talent. But the facility's theater was razed in 2014 as part of an eight-figure transition to the 30,000-square-foot Saban Media Center, scattering events and creating a free-for-all mentality. "It's more competitive than ever," says Shannon Ryan, marketing and communications executive vp at Fox TV Group. "So we try to be creative." Among the network's Emmy events are a planned May 20 Empire Fest and a performance-heavy party to plug Grease Live! Even the conventional post-screening panels are more tailored than in years past, with Showtime dissecting the presidential race with producers of political doc series The Circus at New York's heady 92nd Street Y and Food Network star Guy Fieri selling himself at a talk inside Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre. Many Oscar "strategists" now quickly transition to Emmy work even before the grandstands outside the Dolby Theatre are taken down. And while Oscar campaigns have become highly regulated in recent years, the TV Academy requires only a limit on one "official" academy event in New York and L.A. All other stunts and nonsanctioned goings-on are OK and considered key to introducing the 20,000-plus voting members to a program. "You want your event to stand out and attract those who might not have initially sampled the show," says WGN America senior vp Rita Cooper Lee, who anchored an April 17 Beverly Hilton brunch for the drama Underground with a performance by a full gospel choir. "Peak TV is now peak FYC." (Hollywood Reporter)

Here comes anesthesia! Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum June Shannon, better known as Mama June, jokes about her body in an upcoming episode of E!'s Botched, as seen in Us Weekly's exclusive season 3 promo. Preview footage for the E! plastic-surgery series' third season, premiering May 10, shows the reality TV star, 36, and daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon meeting with surgeons Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif in their office. June says "bat wings" with a laugh and puts her arms in the air. June has recently struggled with her health. She had a brief hospital stay after fainting in her home in March. Another scene from the trailer shows Dubrow emotionally telling a patient, "I've been thinking about you every day since we met. I just think we have to do something to try to help." Botched season 3 premieres on E! Tuesday, May 10, at 9 p.m. ET. (US Weekly)

Spring is a time for renewal -- or in some cases cancellation... While we've heard about plenty of shows that have already been renewed -- like ALL of The CW's scripted shows -- there are still some programs left sitting on the fence. Sadly, freshman superhero show Supergirl is one show that might not see a second season as CBS head Leslie Moonves is in discussions with Warner Bros. Television about whether or not to renew the pricey comic book adaptation. Though sources close to the series have said that the network would love for Supergirl to return for a second season, they may not be able to make it work. Each episode costs nearly $3 million total to broadcast -- which is one of the highest license fees for a first season show -- and the ratings don't really justify the cost! According to Nielsen, about thirteen million viewers tuned in to the premiere in October; however, over half of the audience has dropped off since then. The good news is Supergirl still has some time as CBS won't announce their fall schedule until their upfront presentation in New York in a couple weeks. If the show doesn't end up on CBS, there's also a chance it could join Arrow, The Flash, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow on The CW! Even though The CW seems a better fit for Melissa Benoist's show, the big downside to the move would be the show would have to cut back on its budget BIG time. (Perez Hilton)
