This Message is being sent on behalf of the ADOT Multimodal Planning Division:
ADOT’s Multimodal Planning Division will now be accepting Preliminary Scoping (Pre-Scoping) Applications for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 as part of ADOT’s Planning Assistance to Rural Areas (PARA) Program.
“Pre-Scoping” refers to a process where ADOT will assist a Local Public Agency (LPA) or Tribal Government to develop a realistic scope of work, schedule, and budget for a simple transportation project. Pre-Scoping helps to reduce scope changes and rework during the design phase and improves overall project success.
The PARA Program is competitive and covers 100% of the Pre-Scoping cost, meaning there is no funding match required on the applicant’s part. The PARA Program does not provide funding for design or construction.
Applications Due Date:
Tuesday, May 31, 2016 (close of business)
Application Submittal Instructions:
1) Read all instructions prior to submitting Pre-Scoping Application to verify your project’s eligibility
2) Include all applicable attachments
3) Submit Pre-Scoping Application(s) via email to DGabiou@azdot.gov
a) Email Subject Line should read “PARA Application”
b) Please ensure application email is less than 12MB for successful delivery
Please note, Planning Study Applications will not be accepted for FY 2017 due to budget constraints.
If you have any questions regarding the PARA Pre-Scoping process, please feel free to call or email me at the contact information below, or visit the PARA Website for the fillable application and any additional details. The attached application is a non-fillable PDF version due to the size limitations of GovDelivery.
