Tim Daly Breaks Both Legs While Skiing at Sundance. Ouch! Madam Secretary actor Tim Daly suffered a bad accident and broke both of his legs while skiing at Sundance, according to Deadline. Production won't be affected by Daly's injury, and he will appear in all episodes of the current third season. Writers are said to be debating whether to write his injury into the script. Daly stars opposite Tea Leoni in the CBS series. He plays Henry McCord, head of a special intelligence analyst unit and the husband of Leoni's Elizabeth McCord, who is Secretary of State in the show. In addition to playing onscreen spouses, Leoni and Daly are also a couple in real life. The duo started dating in December 2014, about six months after Leoni and ex-husband David Duchovny filed for divorce. But they didn't make their relationship red carpet official until the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April 2015. Coincidentally, both Leoni and Daly went to the Putney School, a prep and boarding school in Vermont. They graduated 10 years apart. "We had a few of the same teachers, which is really crazy," Daly told E! News in July 2014 at a Television Critics Association event for Madam Secretary. Leoni and Duchovny were married for 17 years and share a son and daughter. Daly also has two children from a previous marriage. (Eonline)

Amy Adams Won't Let an Oscar Snub and Fake Nomination Announcement Get Her Down. Amy Adams was all smiles on Tuesday night, despite some disappointing news that morning. The actress joined the SAG-AFTRA Foundation for an event dedicated to "Conversations With Amy Adams" just a few hours after the 2017 Oscars nominations were announced. She was one of several stars who we feel was snubbed from the noms, left out of the running for Best Actress after earning Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG Award nominations for her performance in Arrival. To add salt to the wound, the official Oscars website initially reported the actress (as well as Tom Hanks) had, in fact, been nominated. ABC later released a statement to apologize for the mistake. "This morning, in an attempt to release breaking news as announced, ABC Digital briefly posted inaccurate nomination information on the Oscar.com website," ABC said in a statement. "The nominees announced by the Academy on Twitter were accurate. ABC quickly identified and corrected the errors. We apologize to the Academy, press, and fans for any confusion." Nonetheless, Adams took the debacle with a grain of salt and appeared at the SAG event Tuesday night with a bright, big smile on her face. After all, she's already a five-time Oscar nominee, and Arrival still saw nods for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Directing and Best Picture. (Eonline)

Amber Rose & Val Chmerkovskiy's Romance Heating Up? "They Have Great Chemistry and Are Really into Each Other." Things may be heating up even more between Amber Rose and Val Chmerkovskiy. The glamor model and podcast host, who competed with his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With the Stars last year, recently spent time with several of their family members and has also been talking to Val every day since he embarked on a dancing tour, E! News has learned. A source close to Val told E! News exclusively that Amber met them during a visit to New York City, where the brothers grew up and where their parents live. "Amber flew to New York City to visit Val and has met some of his and family and even spent time with the family," the source said. "They have great chemistry and are really into each other." Amber had said on her Loveline podcast on Play.it in early January that her and Val's relationship is "amazing," adding, "It's been four months now and it's awesome. I love his family and everyone's so great. He's great." Last month, Val embarked on a Dancing With the Stars tour with several of his co-stars, as well as Olympic gymnastics champion Laurie Hernandez, who won the most recent season with him. The group performed at Radio City Music Hall in mid-January. "They've been talking every day that he's been away on tour," the source told E! News. Amber and Val had also attended Maks' and fiancee and Dancing With the Stars co-star Peta Murgatroyd's baby shower in New York City in December. Their son Shai was born earlier this month. Amber and Val sparked romance rumors last October, when they were seen out on a dinner date. They later spent Halloween together. Weeks later, Amber dropped hints about their romance on social media. In early January, Amber went from hints to cold-hard evidence; she posted a sweet PDA-filled picture of the two with the caption, "My Love ?." Last week, she posted another PDA pic. The two also made the kiss cam at a New York Knicks-Atlanta Hawks game at Madison Square Garden. (Eonline)

Madonna Is Not Trying to Adopt More Malawi Children: The Rumors Are Untrue. Madonna is into the groove of motherhood, but she isn't adding any more members to her clan right now. Upon reports claiming the songstress had filed a request to adopt two children from Malawi, the mother of four rebuffed the headlines, calling them simply "untrue." "I am in Malawi to check on the children's hospital in Blantyre and my other work with Raising Malawi, and then heading home," she told E! News in a statement. "The rumors of an adoption process are untrue." However, Madonna is no stranger to the process, having adopted 11-year-old son David Banda and daughter Mercy James from the country in 2008 and 2009. She is also mother to Lourdes Leon, 20, and Rocco Ritchie, 16. In 2006, she founded Raising Malawi, an organization that works to build schools, strengthen hospitals and provide resources for orphans and impoverished children. Meanwhile, Madonna's family life has not been without conflict in recent years. In September 2016, the actress privately settled a custody battle with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their son, Rocco. The fight began nearly a year earlier after the teenager refused to return to New York City to live with his mother following a trip to London with his father. The star made public pleas to her son by way of social media tributes and broke down during a concert in March over her family turmoil. "There is no love stronger than a mother for her son," Madge told her audience at the time. "And, if I talk about him too much, I might cry. But I would like to dedicate this song to him. It's a love song for a man, but I know he'll be one, one day. I hope he hears this somewhere and knows how much I miss him." (Eonline)

Sherri Shepherd Calls Out Ex-Husband Lamar Sally After Posting His Dating Profile. Sherri Shepherd has quite the view on her ex-husband. As the Hollywood actress continues a court battle with Lamar Sally, Twitter followers are getting a greater sense that these two remain far from friendly exes. The former View co-host decided to post Lamar's dating profile from Black People Meet with a message to her fans. "#BEWARE In court docs he says he only works 20-30 hours/wk. But his dating profile says $100k #Liar #WatchOut #Scam," she wrote Tuesday evening. The post comes after Sherri's rep claimed a "huge victory" in the ex's ongoing custody battle. "Just before the inauguration weekend, Shepherd had a huge victory in the California family court. Sally and his counsel were humiliated as the judge flat out denied his request and politely asked Sally to be seated in the audience, away from counsel table so he could properly dispose of the matter," her rep shared in a statement to The Huffington Post. "The California judge agreed with Shepherd's counsel Terry Levich Ross, Esq. and determined that by Sally's own agreement in two separate legal judgments, New Jersey has exclusive and ongoing jurisdiction over this child support issue and all matters must be dealt with only in that state. The amount of child support Shepherd is currently paying her ex-husband is more than New Jersey has required her to pay, so if Sally wanted to revisit the matter in a New Jersey court he would likely face having his payments reduced substantially." But Sally's lawyer disagrees in a statement to People. "She's stating that the amount of child support she's paying is more than the state of New Jersey required her to pay. That's not true, absolutely not true. Ms. Shepherd's not paying a penny more than New Jersey required her to pay. The fact that she believes that New Jersey would substantially reduce these payments, there's not a shred of evidence of that being capable of happening because Ms. Shepherd has not disclosed what her income is, which we believe is significantly higher than what she declared it was at the time the New Jersey court made the original order in the case." Back in December, Lamar and his legal team filed court documents requesting Sherri to pay more child support per month while also paying $75,000 to cover legal fees. Lamar believed his ex now earns upwards of $3 million per year, a $1.8 million increase from what their previous support order was based upon. "Never a problem helping ex financially w his son ... just wanted a fair decision and not made to pay an amount borne from greed and deception," Sherri shared on Twitter this week. "I rest my thumbs ... time to put this mimosa down and log off twitter before ex-hauls me back in court for making him look like a gold digger." She added, "For the record... I always offered to financially care for my ex-husband's son. What he was demanding was not fair & allowed him to not work. My ex-husband says he works part-time 20-30 hours a week. I work a min of 15-hours a day. I have always had to hustle to take care of mine." E! News has reached out to Lamar's attorney for comment on the recent Twitter posts. (Eonline)

MTM's longtime rep Mara Buxbaum issued a statement to TMZ saying, "Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine." "A groundbreaking actress, producer, and passionate advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mary will be remembered as a fearless visionary who turned the world on with her smile." The 7 time Emmy winner began her career modeling in a commercial for "Happy Hotpoint" as a tiny elf that danced on appliances. Mary, who in 1986 was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame, starred in well over 10 films and wrote 2 memoirs. She married 3 times ... forming power couple status when she married TV exec Grant Tinker in 1962. Her only son, Richard, from her first marriage to Richard Meeker, died from an accidental gunshot in 1980. Mary was 80. #RIP. (TMZ)

Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello Debut First Magazine Cover Together. It was about time! Finally, we get to see this gorgeous couple on a cover. Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello opened the doors of their home for the first time for an intimate look at their relationship, careers, and hidden hobbies. As we've seen on social media, this couple and their family have all created one big happy family that even vacations together. As a once single mother, the Modern Family star shared her reason for never moving in with anyone until her son, Manolo, went to college. "Partly because I hadn't found the right person and I knew that if I moved in with someone, it would have a psychological effect on my son. I wasn't going to bring a man into my son's home. I think that's why I always wanted long-distance relationships, with men in other countries," Vergara explained to HOLA! USA. The pair tied the knot in November 2015, but the Magic Mike star said it didn't take long for him to realize that he wanted to spend the rest of his life by Vergara's side. "We realized very early on that we each had to put the other person's happiness and well-being head of our own. Once you realize that kind that kind of trust has manifested, you hang on for dear life. Or in my case, you go and buy a ring," Manganiello said. The publication asked Vergara whether or not it bothers her that some people think that her character on Modern Family is a stereotype of Latin women, but she doesn't seem bothered by what the critics have to say. "What's wrong with being a stereotype? Gloria's character is inspired by my mom and my aunt. They are both Latin women who grew up in Colombia, like me. They love color, prints and shoes... It upsets me when Latinos complain about Gloria," the 44-year-old actress said. "I am grateful for the opportunity because the gringos have let me in with this strong accent I have. Eight years ago nobody had an accent like this on television." Vergara wasn't the only one to get candid; her hubby talked about his secret hobby as an art collector and how it all started. "I have always made it a habit of going to art galleries and openings. Some of my friends are some of the biggest artists working today, and others have made careers of collecting and dealing art. So when it came time to decorating the new house, along with the works I had collected over the years, I had new paintings/works commissioned," the 40-year-old actor said. HOLA! USA's March issue will be hitting stands next month. (Eonline)

Matt Damon Has One Very Simple Reason Why He Won't Run For Political Office. Matt Damon has never been shy about his politics. The longtime Democrat has been an outspoken supporter of Hillary Clinton and Sen. Elizabeth Warren. He's so passionate about public policy that he even went public when he was unhappy with some of then-Pres. Barack Obama's decisions regarding drone strikes and the National Security Agency. Even so, the Oscar-winner insists he has no political aspirations. "I do feature [films]," he says. "I'm not a reality guy." Zing! "That's the first time I thought [of that]," Damon said, laughing. "I might use that again." I caught up with The Martian star at the Sundance Film Festival, where he was promoting Water.org's collaboration with Stella Artois. Water.org works on providing safe water to regions of developing nations. For the second year in a row, Stella Artois is donating proceeds from the sales of a limited edition chalice to the organization as part of its Buy A Lady a Drink campaign. Damon is making sure his kids are not only well informed about developing nations, but that they get to see first-hand what is really going on. "It's hard," Damon said. "I think about my mother and when I was a kid, and when I didn't finish my dinner, she said, 'You have to clean your plate because there are kids that are starving in the world.' All of our parents have said that to us, and it's real, but it's very hard for that to land with us and to internalize that as a child. "I think travel is the best part of their privilege, the amount we get to travel," he continued. "And that's really what opened my eyes. My mother took me to Mexico and Guatemala when I was in high school and I couldn't believe what I saw. I think that's why my kids are fortunate; I'm going to be able to that for them too." For more about Damon's work with Water.org's founder and CEO Gary White and the Stella Artois collaboration, click here. (Eonline)

Kylie Jenner Donates $10,000 to Best Friend Jordyn Woods After Her Dad's Unexpected Death. Kylie Jenner has her friend's back through good and bad times. As Jordyn Woods continues to grieve the loss of her father, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has decided to help the family out in a big way. Thanks to a GoFundMe page honoring John Woods, Kylie was able to donate $10,000 that will go towards the costs and expenses of the memorial service and John's medical bills. "I love you guys very much," Kylie wrote under the "recent donations" section of the page. In just five days, the family has already received more than $17,000 in donations. Just last week, Jordyn announced on Instagram that her dad passed away just two short weeks after he was diagnosed with cancer. "I appreciate everyone's kind words and it means the world to me," she wrote to her followers. "It still doesn't feel real. Forever and Always." According to the family's GoFundMe page, John was initially admitted into the ICU on December 17 as he suffered from flu-like symptoms. He was later diagnosed with Meningitis and remained in the ICU for three weeks. A liver biopsy would later reveal the family's "worst fears" that John was suffering from stage four Adenocarcinoma. As the family mourns the loss of their "father, husband, friend, son and brother," Jordyn has the support of many close friends who are sending their best wishes. "My Fire Ox, My Brother, My Soul Sister. Give Jordy & her family some support and prayers right now," Kylie wrote on Instagram. "I love you the long way @jordynwoods . The other half of me... When you cry I cry." (Eonline)

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to be focused on finally finishing their mansion, and all we can say is ... it's about time. As we reported ... 'Ye was going wild with more construction last month -- knocking down an entire wall to expand the master bedroom -- but new photos of the Hidden Hills, CA pad show it's all coming together. All 20,000 sq. ft and more of it. It's still unclear if the couple has a completion date in mind, but recent L.A. rainstorms definitely delayed progress even more. Still, considering Kim and Kanye bought the 8 bed, 10 bath palace in August 2014 -- and have been renovating ever since -- anything close to ready is a huge victory. (TMZ)

U.S. Olympic legend Gabby Douglas has some advice for Usain Bolt after the sprinter was stripped of an Olympic gold medal this week ... GO OUT AND WIN ANOTHER ONE!! The 21-year-old gymnast -- who has 3 Olympic gold medals of her own -- was at LAX when she heard that Bolt must hand over the 4x100 relay gold Jamaica won during the 2008 Games in Beijing. FYI, Bolt's Team Jamaica teammate at the time, Nesta Carter, was found guilty of doping -- after a retest of his 2008 sample came back positive for a banned substance. As a result, the entire relay team must hand back their medals. Sucks for Bolt, who did nothing wrong. But Douglas has an easy solution for Usain ... don't retire and pick up a replacement gold at the 2020 Games. Great advice! (TMZ)

'Star Wars': The Line Mark Hamill "Begged" George Lucas to Remove From 'A New Hope.' "Boy, I'll never forget it as long as I live. I sometimes dream about this line." Oof. Yeah, good call, Luke. Mark Hamill likely will have plenty of lines in the upcoming Star Wars installment, which we now know is titled The Last Jedi, and that will be a nice change of pace from the zero words Luke uttered in the final moments of 2015's The Force Awakens. The silent Skywalker was all part of the script, but, in funny contrast, there was a line in the first Star Wars film Hamill hated so much, he "begged" George Lucas to cut it. Heat Vision recently discovered an old interview Hamill did on The Tonight Show in 1977, not long after A New Hope was released, where the youthful actor tells host Johnny Carson there was a piece of dialogue just too abhorrent to speak in the screenplay. His pleading must have worked as the line is not in the film, but it was so bad, the snippet was ingrained in his memory. "Boy, I'll never forget it as long as I live," Hamill told Carson. "I sometimes dream about this line." We are not going to write the line here; you have to watch Hamill deliver it in character to get the full effect. But trust us, it's bad. (Hollywood Reporter)

Ellen DeGeneres Responds to 'Finding Dory' Oscar Snub With "Alternative Facts" Joke. The talk-show host, who's also emceed past editions of the Academy Awards, chimed in on this year's nominations. Ellen DeGeneres dedicated her monolog on Wednesday's edition of her daytime talk-show to this year's Oscar nominations. As usual, DeGeneres, a former Oscar host herself, was full of jokes. "Every year there are more snubs and people are like 'Oh no, movies should have been nominated and they weren't.' And unfortunately, Finding Dory did not get nominated," said DeGeneres, who voiced the animated Dory in the film. But the host was inspired by the Trump administration to look on the bright side. "According to alternative facts, it did," she joked, referencing Kellyanne Conway's oft-mocked term. "One thing that everyone is happy about is than the nominees are a lot more diverse that ever before," said DeGeneres, "This year they range from sad all the way to extremely depressing." The host pointed out that La La Land scored 14 nominations. "It's a movie about an incredibly attractive young woman and a ridiculously handsome young man who find each other and become famous. It's a story that had to be told," said DeGeneres, deadpanning. She also joked about Meryl Streep finally being nominated again after two years, and had a lot to say about the eponymous Anthony Weiner doc getting snubbed. (Hollywood Reporter)

This Is Us Shows Jack's Funeral and Adds Yet Another Twist. As big fans of the Pearson family at the center of This Is Us, there's been one thing we've been dreading for months now. Ever since Kate (Chrissy Metz) revealed to Toby (Chris Sullivan) that her dad had passed away sometime within the past ten years, we've been waiting for the show to tell us more about Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) death. Tonight, we didn't learn much about what happened, but we sure did shed some tears as Kate started to work through the effect that her father's death had on her, and found herself flashing back to his funeral during an intense workout at the "immersive weight loss program" she joined. It was just a glimpse, but it was enough to send our tear ducts into overdrive, as was the second glimpse we got at the end, which revealed that the big 3 were in what looked like their late teens at the time of his death. Aside from Kate's devastating breakthrough, tonight's episode also brought us one other unexpected twist. Turns out, Kevin's not in love with either Sloan or Olivia, and is actually still in love with the wife he divorced 12 years ago, who also happens to be Kate's best childhood friend, Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge). He showed up at her door and gave an adorable speech, complete with commas and other punctuation. This is the same Sophie who attended the kids' three separate birthday parties, and who eventually ditched Kate's Madonna party for Kevin's Princess Bride theme, and who Kevin admitted his love for, even then. Just when we had relegated Kevin to the bottom of our list of favorite Pearsons, he goes and does something cute like that. Now he's back to being tied with everyone else again! What did you guys think? This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

This Is Us' Big Plans: "Darkness" and More About Jack's Death Ahead. Have you stopped crying your tears of joy and pain brought on by the Tuesday, Jan. 24 episode of This Is Us? No? Neither have we, but sorry to do this to you, but here come some more tears. In the episode, "Three Sentences," viewers learned that Kevin (Justin Hartley) was married to Sophie (Alexandra Breckenridge)... Kate's (Chrissy Metz) childhood best friend! And he still loves her! Meanwhile, Kate went to a weight-loss camp and met a man who is very into her and also began to work through the pain of her father, Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) death. Viewers were shown Jack's funeral for the first time and now you're crying again. The funeral revealed Jack died while the Big Three were teenagers. We'll give you a moment to get some tissues. While at camp, Kate has a breakthrough about her pain connected to her weight and that's when viewers got a flashback to the funeral. "Of course we don't know at this point how Jack has passed away, but surely that has affected her into her adulthood and all of the kids," Metz said in the This Is Us after show. Creator Dan Fogelman told EW that he's "always known when Jack died." "The how is going to take much longer to reveal. To me, even when you're watching the pilot, long before you knew Jack may not be in the picture in the present day, this family always felt loving and good but broken. You've got kids battling severe issues, whether it be Randall and his anxiety, and Kate with many things of self-confidence and weight, and Kevin has gone off to Los Angeles, and clearly there's strained relationships with Rebecca," he said. " There feels like there was a break somewhere, and it always felt to me, as I thought about this family, that something formative happened to them in those prominent late teenage years, when you're really becoming an adult, and getting boyfriends and girlfriends, and forming as a human being in full." You will find out more about Jack's death as the season comes to a close. And don't forget, This Is Us has been renewed for two additional seasons. "By the end of the season, you're going to know a lot of the details of the how and the ramifications of it. In terms of the detail of how he died, was it illness? Was it something tragic? Was it something else? You're not going to know that for a little bit because we want to show that in the show. So that's going to take a minute," Fogelman said. Prepare yourself for more tears, and "darkness" Fogelman said. "It's dark, and there's some darkness that creeps into the show because that's what happens in life. We're not trying to be edgy or cool, but perfect people act imperfectly. A wonderful marriage faces serious tests. People get sick and die. So we can't just do a show where every week is this kind of emotional but very safe release. We also have to dive into the heavy stuff. So [in] the back half of the season, people are going to have to put on their seat belts a little bit. I just wrote the finale today and... it's a doozy." As for the Kevin going to Sophie and proclaiming his love for her, seemingly out of nowhere, Hartley said, "I think that moment of 'Oh my gosh, this is what I need to,' is not necessarily something that he just discovered, but it was something that was right there in front of him the whole time. He just wasn't brave enough to sort of figure it out." This Is Us airs Tuesdays, 9 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

ABC News used a mocked up pic of Donald Trump in the Oval Office to promote its first TV interview with the prez, and the image was ripped from The New Yorker! Oops. The network ran the phony image Tuesday night to promote an interview with Trump -- the first since he took office -- for Wednesday's nightly news, and apparently didn't realize it was photoshopped or another outlet's work. We're told the photo did in fact see air time Tuesday, but has since been replaced. ABC has apologized, and copped to its marketing team screwing up. Side note: Shout-out to The New Yorker's art department. Ya fooled ABC. (TMZ)
